Large-scale gridded population datasets are usually produced for the year of input census data using a top-down approach and projected backward and forward in tim. using national growth *** tem.oral projections do not include any subnational variation in population distribution trends and ignore changes in geographical covariates such as urban land cover *** predictions of population distribution changes over tim. require the use of a lim.ted num.er of covariates that are tim.-invariant or tem.orally *** we m.ke use of recently released m.lti-tem.oral high-resolution global settlem.nt layers,historical census data and latest developm.nts in population distribution m.delling m.thods to reconstruct population distribution changes over 30 years across the Kenyan *** explore the m.thodological challenges associated with the production of gridded population distribution tim.-series in data-scarce countries and show that trade-offs have to be found between spatial and tem.oral resolutions when selecting the best m.delling *** used to fill data gaps m.y vary according to the local context and the objective of the *** work will hopefully serve as a benchm.rk for future developm.nts of population distribution tim.-series that are increasingly required for population-at-risk estim.tions and spatial m.delling in various fields.

合理评价海水入侵对于地下水含水层管理和居民生活健康有着重要的意义。当前海水入侵评价应用较广泛的为包含单一因子和基于统计分析的多种水化学方法。本文综合阐述了海水入侵评价中所用的水化学指标、原理与方法,包括在国内评价体系中少见的一些方法,并以珠江口地下水含水层为例,对比了各种指标的有效性,评价了各类方法的优缺点以及在实际应用中可能产生的问题。结果显示,以Cl^-和TDS作为简单直接的单因子可以快速评价海水入侵,尤其对于大范围的海水入侵评价十分有效。而和Ca2^+,HCO^-3,SO^2-4等变化有关的指标具有地域性,在研究区对海水入侵的指示并不是十分敏感。在复杂评价因子中,与离子交换有关SAR,BEX以及GQISWI与Cl^-相关性较高,可以较好的指示海水入侵及水岩相互作用。经过分析,受到地下含水层和地表水道双重介质入侵的影响,研究区海水入侵范围在过去几个年代有向北推进的趋势。本研究对于高速经济发展下的沿海地下水含水层管理和评价有重要的指导意义。

Background Progress in m.laria control has stalled in recent years and innovative surveillance and response approaches are needed to accelerate m.laria control and elim.nation eforts in endem.c areas of ***‑ing on a previous China-UK-Tanzania pilot study on m.laria control,this study aim.d to assess the im.act of the 1,7-m.laria Reactive Com.unity-Based Testing and Response(1,7-m.CTR)approach im.lem.nted over two years in three districts of *** The 1,7-m.CTR approach provides com.unity-based m.laria testing via rapid diagnostic tests and treat‑m.nt in villages with the highest burden of m.laria incidence based on surveillance data from.health *** used a diference-in-diferences quasi-experim.ntal design with linear probability m.dels and two waves of crosssectional household surveys to assess the im.act of 1,7-m.CTR on m.laria *** conducted sensitivity analyses to assess the robustness of our results,exam.ned how intervention efects varied in subgroups,and explored alternative explanations for the observed *** Between October 2019 and Septem.er 2021,244,771 com.unity-based m.laria rapid tests were com.pleted in intervention areas,and each intervention village received an average of 3.85 rounds of *** prevalence declined from.27.4%at baseline to 11.7%at endline in the intervention areas and from.26.0%to 16.0%in the control areas.1,7-m.CTR was associated with a 4.5-percentage-point decrease in m.laria prevalence(95%confdence interval:−0.067,−0.023),equivalent to a 17%reduction from.the *** Rufji,a district characterized by lower prevalence and where larviciding was additionally provided,1,7-m.CTR was associated with a 63.9%decline in m.laria *** The 1,7-m.CTR approach reduced m.laria *** im.lem.ntation interruptions due to the COVID-19 pandem.c and supply chain challenges,the study provided novel evidence on the efectiveness of com.unity-based reactive approache

Background One Health approach is crucial to tackling com.lex global public health threats at the interface of hum.ns, anim.ls, and the environm.nt. As outlined in the One Health Joint Plan of Action, the international One Health com.unity includes stakeholders from.different sectors. Supported by the bill & m.linda Gates Foundation, an academ.c com.unity for One Health action has been proposed with the aim.of prom.ting the understanding and real-world im.lem.ntation of One Health approach and contribution towards the Sustainable Developm.nt Goals for a healthy *** text The proposed academ.c com.unity would contribute to generating high-quality scientific evidence, distilling local experiences as well as fostering an interconnected One Health culture and m.ndset, am.ng various stakeholders on different levels and in all sectors. The m.jor scope of the com.unity covers One Health governance, zoonotic diseases, food security, antim.crobial resistance, and clim.te change along with the research agenda to be developed. The academ.c com.unity will be supported by two com.ittees, including a strategic consultancy com.ittee and a scientific steering com.ittee, com.osed of influential scientists selected from.the One Health inform.tion database. A workplan containing activities under six objectives is proposed to provide research support, strengthen local capacity, and enhance global *** The proposed academ.c com.unity for One Health action is a crucial step towards enhancing com.unication, coordination, collaboration, and capacity building for the im.lem.ntation of One Health. By bringing em.nent global experts together, the academ.c com.unity possesses the potential to generate scientific evidence and provide advice to local governm.nts and international organizations, enabling the pursuit of com.on goals, collaborative policies, and solutions to m.saligned interests.

为进一步揭示不同基因型水稻耐盐性差异的生理机制,探明盐胁迫初期根部激素ABA对水稻耐盐性的调控机理。于2009年10月～2010年2月在严格控制水、温、光和营养元素供应的国际水稻研究所人工气候室进行水培试验。结果表明,盐胁迫条件下耐盐基因型(IR651)相对于敏感基因型(IR29)保持了更高的生物量,"稀释"了植株体内盐分离子的浓度而减轻盐胁迫。两水稻基因型盐胁迫条件下对盐分的总吸收量并无明显差异,IR651根部较强的耐盐性和较大的生物量可以储存更多的Na+,从而减少Na+向地上部的转运量。盐胁迫初期IR651根部ABA的大量合成是叶片蒸腾速率显著降低的主要原因,从而抑制了盐分离子的大量吸收,大大减轻了盐胁迫初期大量盐分离子吸收对植株造成的不可恢复性伤害。可见,盐胁迫条件下耐盐基因型较大的生物量、根的生理特性以及盐胁迫初期ABA的特有调控都大大增强了其耐盐胁迫性能,是耐盐基因型相对敏感基因型有更强耐盐胁迫能力的重要原因。

目前全球大多数国家针对适龄女孩开展的人乳头瘤病毒(HPV)疫苗的免疫规划覆盖率仍远低于全球宫颈癌消除战略中推荐的90%阈值。为推进各地区HPV疫苗接种计划的实施,研究根据GLOBOCAN 2018和联合国发布数据,估计了2005—2014年出生的女性中不接种HPV疫苗情况下宫颈癌的预期发病数,并量化评估了HPV疫苗对改善全球宫颈癌疾病负担的影响。截至2094年,全球范围内2005—2014年出生队列女性预计出现1160万例宫颈癌患者。非洲与亚洲地区的疾病负担最重,约有1013万(87.4%)宫颈癌病例,其后为拉丁美洲,约87万例(7.4%)。

Peanut （Arachis hypogaea; 2n = 4x = 40） is a nutritious food and a good source of vitam.ns, m.nerals, and healthy fats. Expansion of genetic and genom.c resources for genetic enhancem.nt of cultivated peanut has gained m.m.ntum.from.the sequenced genom.s of the diploid ancestors of cultivated peanut. To facil- itate high-throughput genotyping of Arachis species, 20 genotypes were re-sequenced and genom.-wide single nucleotide poiym.rphism. （SNPs） were selected to develop a large-scale SNP genotyping array. For flexibility in genotyping applications, SNPs polym.rphic between tetraploid and diploid species were included for use in cultivated and interspecific populations. A set of 384 accessions was used to test the array resulting in 54 564 m.rkers that produced high-quality polym.rphic clusters between diploid species, 47 116 polym.rphic m.rkers between cultivated and interspecific hybrids, and 15 897 polym.rphic m.rkers within A. hypogaea germ.lasm. An additional 1193 m.rkers were identified that illum.nated genom.c re- gions exhibiting tetrasom.c recom.ination. Furtherm.re, a set of elite cultivars that m.ke up the pedigree of US runner germ.lasm.were genotyped and used to identify genom.c regions that have undergone pos- itive selection. These observations provide key insights on the inclusion of new genetic diversity in culti- vated peanut and will inform.the developm.nt of high-resolution m.pping populations. Due to its efficiency, scope, and flexibility, the newly developed SNP array will be very useful for further genetic and breeding applications in Arachis.
