The development of a distributed trajectory-tracking control strategy that is independent of velocity measurements is critical to achieving finite-time tracking control of autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV) systems. In this study, a group of heterogeneous AUV systems with intermittent communication links is considered and a finite-time trajectory-tracking control strategy is developed. The strategy includes two observers and one controller proposed for each follower-AUV. The first observer, a hybrid finite-time observer,estimates the state of the leader, whereas the second observer, which relies only on the position measurement,is proposed to estimate the states of the follower-AUV itself. In addition, a distributed trajectory-tracking controller is designed using the states estimated by the intermittent communication network even without velocity measurements. A homogeneous technique is utilized to prove that all followers can track the leader in a finite time. Finally, the effectiveness of the developed finite-time tracking control strategy is illustrated by numerical simulations.

This paper focuses on the infinitesimally shape-similar formation problem for a group of robots subject to input time delay. We assume that each robot is only equipped with bearing sensors. For the implementation of infinitesimally shapesimilar motion, the shape-similarity matrix（SSM） is introduced by using bearing angle measurement（BAM）. It is shown that the SSM only can maintain the angle-consistent but not keeping shape of formation along trajectories. Further, some conditions of selecting angles are given to guarantee the shape-preservation of formation on the basis of angle-consistent. To apply the above results, an optimization formation task is established for a group of robots with single integrator dynamics subject to input time-delay. This task aims at maintaining shape of formation as well as achieving position tracking. Then a shape-similar-based optimal controller is obtained by using Lagrangian multiplier method. Finally, a simulation scenario on a quadrilateral formation of four robots is carried out to demonstrate the proposed shape-similar based approaches.

In this paper, an adaptive reinforcement learning（RL） based controller is developed to solve assistance control problem for Lower Limb Exoskeleton（LLE） to aid hemiplegic individuals in walking. The communication interaction relation between both two lower-limbs and patient’s unaffected leg is modelled in the context of leader-follower（LF） framework. The walking assistance control problem of LLE with patients is converted to optimal control problem. To handle the optimal control problem,a discounted cost function is designed in terms of the local tracking error, and then a policy iteration algorithm（PI） is proposed to generate an optimal control policy, followed by the convergence analysis of the presented algorithm. Further, in order to improve the adaption of the controller to different patients, on the basis of the PI algorithm, an actor-critic-based neural network（AC/NN）architecture is introduced to implement the presented control method in an online-learning fashion. Finally, simulation scenarios are established to test the effectiveness of the proposed walking assistance control approaches.

High Mountain Asia(HMA),recognized as a third pole,needs regular and intense studies as it is susceptible to climate *** accurate and high-resolution Digital Elevation Model(DEM)for this region enables us to analyze it in a 3D environment and understand its intricate role as the Water Tower of *** science teams of NASA realized an 8-m DEM using satellite stereo imagery for HMA,termed HMA 8-m *** this research,we assessed the vertical accuracy of HMA 8-m DEM using reference elevations from ICESat-2 geolocated photons at three test sites of varied topography and land *** were made from statistical quantifiers and elevation *** the world’s highest mountain,Mount Everest,and its surroundings,Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE)and Mean Absolute Error(MAE)resulted in 1.94 m and 1.66 m,respectively;however,a uniform positive bias observed in the elevation profiles indicates the seasonal snow cover change will dent the accurate estimation of the elevation in this sort of test *** second test site containing gentle slopes with forest patches has exhibited the Digital Surface Model(DSM)features with RMSE and MAE of 0.58 m and 0.52 m,*** third test site,situated in the Zanda County of the Qinghai-Tibet,is a relatively flat terrain bed,mostly bare earth with sudden river cuts,and has minimal errors with RMSE and MAE of 0.32 m and 0.29 m,respectively,and with a negligible ***,in one more test site,the feasibility of detecting the glacial lakes was tested,which resulted in exhibiting a flat surface over the surface of the lakes,indicating the potential of HMA 8-m DEM for deriving the hydrological *** results accrued in this investigation confirm that the HMA 8-m DEM has the best vertical accuracy and should be of high use for analyzing natural hazards and monitoring glacier surfaces.
