In this study,different conditions of sandblasting on dental implant fixtures were investigated to achieve the best sandblasting conditions.18 different sandblasting conditions(Using 152 implant fixture samples)were examined,including parameters such as particle size,particle blasting pressure,and particle blasting *** surface treatment of the samples was performed using the SLA+Anodizing *** testing was performed for each of the 18 different states,and the average surface roughness of each of these was compared with each ***,a bone layer was placed on the sample with the closest average surface roughness to the standard and the least amount of aluminum oxide on its surface among the 18 different states,to confirm the accuracy and quality of the desired surface roughness by examining the bone formation process and *** results showed that state No.4(sandblast particle size:75µm,spraying pressure of sandblast particles:4 bar,sandblast particle spraying angle:30 degrees),which was prepared using the SLA+Anodizing method and had a surface roughness of 1.989µm(The percentage of al_(2)O_(3)on the surface=6%),had the best sandblasting conditions and showed 95%cell viability and accelerated the treatment and bone formation process for about a *** simulation results,using Abaqus software,indicated that the stress distribution on the surface of the implant fixture in contact with the bone surface has increased by approximately 4.3%for state *** will help prevent loosening of the dental implant fixture over time.

Development of a comprehensive reactor model is of paramount importance for design and scale-up of methanol-to-olefins (MTO) process in a dual fluidized bed reactor (DFB). These models must integrate suitable reaction kinetic expressions with hydrodynamic models properly descriptive of gas-solid contact in fluidized bed reactors. In this modeling study, our previously developed kinetic models of MTO fluidized bed reactor and regenerator are coupled with overall mass, energy and pressure balances to ensure smooth circulation of catalyst particles between the two fluidized beds. This integrated model was then applied to determine geometric dimensions of a demo-scale MTO DFB configuration and to obtain the mass distribution of catalyst particles throughout the entire system including the pipes connecting the two reactors. Our model is capable of being integrated into simulation software such as Aspen Plus for plant-wide optimization and scale-up studies.

Prediction of mode I fracture toughness of rock using linear multiple regression and gene expression programming

Prediction of mode I fracture toughness(KIC) of rock is of significant importance in rock engineering analyses. In this study, linear multiple regression(LMR) and gene expression programming(GEP)methods were used to provide a reliable relationship to determine mode I fracture toughness of rock. The presented model was developed based on 60 datasets taken from the previous literature. To predict fracture parameters, three mechanical parameters of rock mass including uniaxial compressive strength(UCS), Brazilian tensile strength(BTS), and elastic modulus(E) have been selected as the input parameters. A cluster of data was collected and divided into two random groups of training and testing ***, different statistical linear and artificial intelligence based nonlinear analyses were conducted on the training data to provide a reliable prediction model of KIC. These two predictive methods were then evaluated based on the testing data. To evaluate the efficiency of the proposed models for predicting the mode I fracture toughness of rock, various statistical indices including coefficient of determination(R2),root mean square error(RMSE), and mean absolute error(MAE) were utilized herein. In the case of testing datasets, the values of R2, RMSE, and MAE for the GEP model were 0.87, 0.188, and 0.156,respectively, while they were 0.74, 0.473, and 0.223, respectively, for the LMR model. The results indicated that the selected GEP model delivered superior performance with a higher R2value and lower errors.

Globally known about the drivers through which farmers are instigated to uphold and use Hail Canon Technology(HCT)is ***,this article intended to examine the drivers of forecasting the behavioral intention and acceptance behavior of the HCT,249 apple farmers from northwestern Iran were recruited,including adopters(n1=114)and non-adopters(n2=135).The conceptual foundation included demographic theory,resource-based theory,theory of planned behavior,innovation diffusion model,and institutional support *** also used the system dynamics model(SDM)in the Netlogo to assess the results of the conventional statistical approach(i.e.,the logistic model).Authenticated the fitness of conceptual model with the data,logistic model manifests that the most outstanding determinants of the acceptance of HCT entail age,experience,total land size,income,attitude,compatibility,visibility,relative advantage,and financial *** the SDM,it was also shown that the results of the logistic model are confirmed by the *** conclusion,management implications are available for the university extension to eliminate the adoption obstacles and stir up farmers to join in applying HCT,furthermore,researchers would avail themselves of remarks for future research.

The primary purpose of this research is to improve the seismic response of a complex asymmetric tall structure using viscoelastic(VE) dampers. Asymmetric structures have detrimental effects on the seismic performance because such structures create abrupt changes in the stiffness or strength that may lead to undesirable stress concentrations at weak locations. Structural control devices are one of the effective ways to reduce seismic impacts, particularly in asymmetric structures. For passive vibration control of structures, VE dampers are considered among the most preferred devices for energy dissipation. Therefore, in this research, VE dampers are implemented at strategic locations in a realistic case study structure to increase the level of distributed damping without occupying significant architectural space and reducing earthquake vibrations in terms of story displacements(drifts) and other design forces. It has been concluded that the seismic response of the considered structure retrofitted with supplemental VE dampers corresponded well in controlling the displacement demands. Moreover, it has been demonstrated that seismic response in terms of interstory drifts was effectively mitigated with supplemental damping when added up to a certain level. Exceeding the supplemental damping from this level did not contribute to additional mitigation of the seismic response of the considered structure. In addition, it was found that the supplemental damping increased the total acceleration of the considered structure at all floor levels, which indicates that for irregular tall structures of this type, VE dampers were only a good retrofitting measure for earthquake induced interstory deformations and their use may not be suitable for acceleration sensitive structures. Overall, the research findings demonstrate how seismic hazards to these types of structures can be reduced by introducing additional damping into the structure.

The investigation of the effect of electrical and mechanical errors on the performance of a large active phased array antenna is studied. These errors can decrease the antenna performance, for instance, the gain reduction, side lobe level enhancement, and incorrect beam direction. In order to improve the performance of the antenna in the presence of these errors, phase error correction of large phased array antennas using the genetic algorithm（GA） is implemented. By using the phase compensation method, the antenna overall radiation pattern is recovered close to the ideal radiation pattern without error. By applying the simulation data to a 32×40 array of elements with a square grid at the frequency of S-band and measurement of the radiation pattern, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.

Isomorphisms of Finite Semi-Cayley Graphs

Let G be a finite group. A Cayley graph over G is a simple graph whose automorphism group has a regular subgroup isomorphic to G. A Cayley graph is called a CI-graph （Cayley iso- morphism） if its isomorphic images are induced by automorphisms of G. A well-known result of Babai states that a Cayley graph F of G is a CI-graph if and only if all regular subgroups of Aut（F） isomorphic to G are conjugate in Aut（F）. A semi-Cayley graph （also called bi-Cayley graph by some authors） over G is a simple graph whose automorphism group has a semiregular subgroup isomorphic to G with two orbits （of equal size）. In this paper, we introduce the concept of SCI-graph （semi-Cayley isomorphism） and prove a Babai type theorem for semi-Cayley graphs. We prove that every semi-Cayley graph of a finite group G is an SCI-graph if and only if G is cyclic of order 3. also, we study the isomorphism problem of a special class of semi-Cayley graphs.

A Novel Process in Semi-Solid Metal Casting

In this research a new process for semi-solid casting of ductile iron based on the high nucleation rate combined with locally mechanical stirring is presented. In this process at first fully liquid ductile iron was poured on the peripheral surface of a wheel rotating against pouring direction. At this stage, the solid crystals nucleated at the chilling surface were pushed to the melt by a heat resistance steel cutter and finally the semi-solid slurry was generated. Reheating treatment was done on the samples to achieve more efficiency of semi-solid casting process. The effects of the travelling distance of solid particles during casting, the reheating time and temperature were examined. The results showed that the process effectively changes the dendrite structure to globular one.
