Mental health literacy(MHL)refers to knowledge and attitudes that shape the recognition,management,and prevention of mental *** the topic has been exhaustively researched in Western countries,research from Southeast Asia still is *** studies in this field showed a moderate recognition of mental disorders,a high prevalence of stigmatizing attitudes and a low willingness to seek professional help among Southeastern-Asian *** study explored the level of MHL among university students from different parts of Vietnam and *** with influencing factors(gender,age,study year,educational attainment of the parents,urban/rural origin,ethnicity,personal experiences with mental disorders)were also *** online survey,using a 30-item Vietnamese version of the Mental Health Literacy Scale(MHLS),was conducted at six university sites in Vietnam and *** of 1032 students from different study branches were *** MHL of Vietnamese and Cambodian university students was lower,compared to samples from Australia or the *** and students with a personal experience of mental disorders(self or family)showed a significantly higher *** differences in MHL were found between students from different socioeconomic backgrounds(professional attainment of parents,urban/rural origin).Findings on the influence of ethnicity were *** needs to be improved among the university students of Vietnam and *** health promotion should specifically target male students,students from STEM branches,and international students.

STABILITY ANALYSIS OF A COMPUTER VIRUS PROPAGATION MODEL WITH ANTIDOTE IN VULNERABLE SYSTEM

We study a proposed model describing the propagation of computer virus in the network with antidote in vulnerable system. Mathematical analysis shows that dynamics of the spread of computer viruses is determined by the threshold Ro. If Ro 〈 1, the virusfree equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, and if R0 〉 1, the endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. Lyapunov functional method as well as geometric approach are used for proving the global stability of equilibria. A numerical investigation is carried out to confirm the analytical results. Through parameter analysis, some effective strategies for eliminating viruses are suggested.

Spectral properties of the surface reflectance of the northern polar region of Mercury

We analyze MESSENGER reflectance measurements covering the northern polar region of Mercury,the least studied region of the northern mercurian *** use observations from the Mercury Dual Imaging System Wide-Angle Camera(MDIS/WAC)and the Mercury Atmospheric and Surface Composition Spectrometer(MASCS/VIRS)to study the spectral dependence of the surface *** results obtained from the observations made by both instruments are remarkably *** find that a second degree polynomial description of the measured reflectance spectra gives very good fits to the data and that the information that they carry can best be characterized by two parameters,the mean reflectance and the mean relative spectral slope,averaged over the explored range of *** properties of the four main types of terrains known to form Mercury’s regolith in the northern region,smooth plains(SPs),heavily cratered terrain(HCT),fresh ejecta/materials and red pitted ground(RPG),are examined in terms of these two *** results are compared,and found consistent with those obtained by earlier studies in spite of difficulties met in obtaining accurate reflectance measurements under the large incidence angle condition characteristic of polar *** results will help with the preparation of the BepiColombo mission and with supporting its observational strategy.

3-dimension(3-D)printing technology is growing strongly with many applications,one of which is the garment *** application of human body models to the garment industry is necessary to respond to the increasing personalization demand and still guarantee *** paper proposes amethod to construct 3-D human models by applying deep *** calculate the location of the main slices of the human body,including the neck,chest,belly,buttocks,and the rings of the extremities,using pre-existing ***,on the positioning frame,we find the key points(fixed and unaltered)of these key slices and update these points tomatch the current *** add points to a star slice,we use a deep learning model tomimic the form of the human body at that slice *** use interpolation to produce sub-slices of different body sections based on the main slices to create complete body parts *** combine all slices to construct a full 3-D representation of the human body.

Graphical method based on modified maximum force criterion to indicate forming limit curves of 22MnB5 boron steel sheets at elevated temperatures

A new approach for predicting forming limit curves(FLCs)at elevated temperatures was proposed *** are often used to predict failure and determine the optimal forming parameters of automotive ***,a graphical method based on a modified maximum force criterion was applied to estimate the FLCs of 22MnB5 boron steel sheets at room temperature using various hardening ***,the predicted FLC data at room temperature were compared with corresponding data obtained from Nakazima's tests to obtain the best *** estimate the FLC at elevated temperatures,tensile tests were conducted at various temperatures to determine the ratios of equivalent fracture strains between the corresponding elevated temperatures and room *** at elevated temperatures could be established based on obtained ***,the predicted FLCs at elevated temperatures did not agree well with the corresponding FLC experimental data of Zhou et al.A new method was proposed herein to improve the prediction of FLCs at elevated *** FLC calculated at room tem-perature was utilized to predict the failure of Nakazima's samples via finite element *** on the simulation results at room temperature,the mathematical relationships between the equivalent ductile fracture strain versus stress triaxiality and strain ratio were established and then combined with ratios between elevated and room temperatures to calculate the FLCs at different *** predicted FLCs at elevated temperatures agree well with the corresponding experimental FLC data.

This work uses refined first-order shear theory to analyze the free vibration and transient responses of double-curved sandwich two-layer shells made of auxetic honeycomb core and laminated three-phase polymer/GNP/fiber surface subjected to the blast *** of the two layers that make up the double-curved shell structure is made up of an auxetic honeycomb core and two laminated sheets of three-phase polymer/GNP/*** exterior is supported by a Kerr elastic foundation with three *** key innovation of the proposed theory is that the transverse shear stresses are zero at two free surfaces of each *** contrast to previous first-order shear deformation theories,no shear correction factor is ***'s exact solution was used to treat the double-curved shell problem with a single title boundary,while the finite element technique and an eight-node quadrilateral were used to address the other boundary *** ensure the accuracy of these results,a thorough comparison technique is employed in conjunction with credible *** problem model's edge cases allow for this kind of *** study's findings may be used in the post-construction evaluation of military and civil works structures for their ability to sustain explosive *** addition,this is also an important basis for the calculation and design of shell structures made of smart materials when subjected to shock waves or explosive loads.

Finite element approach for free vibration and transient response of bi-directional functionally graded sandwich porous skew-plates with variable thickness subjected to blast load

At the first time,the finite element method was used to model and analyze the free vibration and transient response of non-uniform thickness bi-directional functionally graded sandwich porous(BFGSP)skew *** whole BFGSP skew-plates is placed on a variable visco-elastic foundation(VEF)in the hygro-thermal environment and subjected to the blast *** BFGSP skew-plate thickness is permitted to vary non-linearly over both the length and width of the skew-plate,thereby faithfully representing the real behavior of the structure *** analysis is based on a four-node planar quadrilateral element with eight degrees of freedom per node,which is approximated using Lagrange Q_(4)shape function and C^(1)level non-conforming Hermite shape function based on refined higher-order shear deformation plate *** forced vibration parameters of the non-uniform thickness BFGSP skew-plate are fully determined using Hamilton's principle and the Newmark-βdirect integration *** of the calculation program is validated by comparing its numerical results with those from reputable ***,a thorough assessment is conducted to determine the impact of various parameters on the free and forced vibration responses of the non-uniform thickness BFGSP *** findings of the paper may be used in the development of civil and military structures in situations that are prone to exceptional forces,such as explosions and impacts load.

Incorporation of hydroxyapatite in crosslinked gelatin/chitosan/poly(vinyl alcohol) hybrids utilizing as reinforced composite sponges, and their water absorption ability

The crosslinked gelatin/chitosan/poly(vinyl alcohol)/hydroxyapatite(GEL/CTS/PVA/HAp, GCPH) sponges were fabricated by a freeze-drying method to yield the reinforced composite sponges with proper features. The porosity value and pore size of the crosslinked GCPH sponges reached ～80% and 50–100 μm, respectively, which can be an appropriate range to allow cells to migrate into the reinforced composite sponges in the tissue engineering technology. Besides, the proper bonding presence between HAp particles and the crosslinked polymeric matrix or the crosslinked network formation between the polymers were also proved through fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and thermal gravimetric(TG/DTG) analysis. Owing to incorporation of HAp particles and good distribution of HAp particles inside the crosslinked polymeric matrix, their mechanical properties were improved through the determination of compression tests. Concomitantly, their water absorption ability reached effectively in both the distilled water and Na Cl solution, and their recovery also maintained well for 10 absorbing–squeezing cycles to be considered as an effective reusability for the crosslinked sponge ***, the crosslinked GCPH sponge prepared in the present study can become a potential candidate to apply especially in the biomedical/medical applications and tissue engineering technology.

Transient response of doubly-curved bio-inspired composite shells resting on viscoelastic foundation subject to blast load using improved first-order shear theory and isogeometric approach

Investigating natural-inspired applications is a perennially appealing subject for scientists. The current increase in the speed of natural-origin structure growth may be linked to their superior mechanical properties and environmental resilience. Biological composite structures with helicoidal schemes and designs have remarkable capacities to absorb impact energy and withstand damage. However, there is a dearth of extensive study on the influence of fiber redirection and reorientation inside the matrix of a helicoid structure on its mechanical performance and reactivity. The present study aimed to explore the static and transient responses of a bio-inspired helicoid laminated composite(B-iHLC) shell under the influence of an explosive load using an isomorphic method. The structural integrity of the shell is maintained by a viscoelastic basis known as the Pasternak foundation, which encompasses two coefficients of stiffness and one coefficient of damping. The equilibrium equations governing shell dynamics are obtained by using Hamilton's principle and including the modified first-order shear theory,therefore obviating the need to employ a shear correction factor. The paper's model and approach are validated by doing numerical comparisons with respected publications. The findings of this study may be used in the construction of military and civilian infrastructure in situations when the structure is subjected to severe stresses that might potentially result in catastrophic collapse. The findings of this paper serve as the foundation for several other issues, including geometric optimization and the dynamic response of similar mechanical structures.

Shear strength model of the reinforced concrete beams with embedded through-section strengthening bars

In this study,finite element(FE)analysis is utilized to investigate the shear capacity of reinforced concrete(RC)beams strengthened with embedded through-section(ETS)*** of critical variables on the beam shear strength,including the compressive strength of concrete,stiffness ratio between ETS bars and steel stirrups,and use of ETS strengthening system alone,are parametrically investigated.A promising method based on the bond mechanism between ETS strengthening and concrete is then proposed for predicting the shear resistance forces of the strengthened *** expression for the maximum bond stress of the ETS bars to concrete is *** new expression eliminates the difficulty in the search and selection of appropriate bond parameters from adhesion *** results obtained from the FE models and analytical models are validated by comparison with those measured from the ***,the model proposed in this study demonstrates better performance and more accuracy for prediction of the beam shear-carrying capacity than those of existing *** results obtained from this study can also serve researchers and engineers in selection of the proper shear strength models for design of ETS-strengthened RC beams.
