BACKGROUND Diabetic nephropathy(DN)is the most frequent chronic microvascular consequence of diabetes,and podocyte injury and malfunction are closely related to the development of *** have shown that corilagin(Cor)has hepatoprotective,anti-inflammatory,antibacterial,antioxidant,anti-hypertensive,antidiabetic,and anti-tumor *** To explore the protective effect of Cor against podocyte injury in DN mice and the underlying *** Streptozotocin and a high-fat diet were combined to generate DN mice models,which were then divided into either a Cor group or a DN group(n=8 in each group).Mice in the Cor group were intraperitoneally injected with Cor(30 mg/kg/d)for 12 wk,and mice in the DN group were treated with *** analysis was used to measure the blood lipid *** and eosin staining was used to detect pathological changes in kidney *** and Western blotting were used to assess the protein expression of nephrin and *** podocyte cells(MPC5)were cultured and treated with glucose(5 mmol/L),Cor(50μM),high glucose(HG)(30 mmol/L),and HG(30 mmol/L)plus Cor(50μM).Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blotting RESULTS Compared with the control group,the DN mice models had increased fasting blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,triglycerides,and total cholesterol,decreased nephrin and podocin expression,increased apoptosis rate,elevated inflammatory cytokines,and enhanced oxidative *** of the conditions mentioned above were alleviated after intervention with *** addition,Cor therapy improved SIRT1 and AMPK expression(Pbited reactive oxygen species and oxidative stress,and elevated autophagy in HG-induced podocytes(P<0.01).CONCLUSION Cor alleviates podocyte injury by regulating autophagy via the SIRT1-AMPK pathway,thereby exerting its protective impact on renal function in DN mice.

A new type of symmetry,ren-symmetry,describing anyon physics and corresponding topological physics,is ***-symmetry is a generalization of super-symmetry which is widely applied in super-symmetric physics such as super-symmetric quantum mechanics,super-symmetric gravity,super-symmetric string theory,super-symmetric integrable systems and so *** and Grassmann numbers are,in some sense,dual conceptions,and it turns out that these conceptions coincide for the ren situation,that is,a similar conception of ren-number(R-number)is devised for *** particular,some basic results of the R-number and ren-symmetry are exposed which allow one to derive,in principle,some new types of integrable systems including ren-integrable models and ren-symmetric integrable *** examples of ren-integrable KdV-type systems and ren-symmetric KdV equations are explicitly given.

Based on the Gross–Pitaevskii equation,we theoretically investigate exciton Bose–Einstein condensation(BEC)in transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers(TMDC-MLs)under in-plane magnetic *** observe that the in-plane magnetic fields exert a strong influence on the exciton BEC wave functions in TMDC-MLs because of the mixing of the bright and dark exciton states via Zeeman *** leads to the brightening of the dark exciton BEC *** competition between the dipole–dipole interactions caused by the long-range Coulomb interaction and the Zeeman effect induced by the in-plane magnetic fields can effectively regulate dark exciton BEC *** findings emphasize the utility of TMD-MLs as platforms for investigating collective phenomenon involving excited states.

Quasi-one-dimensional(1D)graphene nanoribbons(GNRs)play a crucial role in advancement of nextgeneration *** studies have suggested their potential to exhibit unique symmetry-protected topological phases defined by a𝑍2 *** employing both the tight-binding model and the Floquet theory,our investigation demonstrates the effective control of the topological phase within quasi-1D armchair GNRs(AGNRs)using elliptically polarized light,unveiling rich topological phase ***,we observe that varying the amplitude of the light can induce transitions in the band gap(𝐸g)of AGNRs,leading to multiple changes in the system’s𝑍2 ***,for heterojunctions composed of different AGNR segments,the junction state can be either created or eliminated by the application of elliptically polarized light.

Ni^(2+)/Cu^(2+)/SO_(4)^(2-)/polyvinyl alcohol precursor fibers with uniform diameters were prepared through ***-based composite nanoalloys containing Ni,Cu,and S were prepared through heat treatment in an Ar *** experimental results show that the main components of the prepared nanoalloys are NiCu,Ni_(3)S_(2),Ni,and *** nanoalloys exhibit fine grain sizes about 200-500 nm,which can increase with increasing heat treatment *** test results show that the nickel sulfidemodified NiCu nanoalloy composites exhibit excellent oxygen evolution reaction properties,and the oxygen evolution reaction properties gradually improve with the increasing heat treatment *** sample prepared at 1 000℃ for 40 min show a low overpotential of 423 mV and a small Tafel slope of 134 mV·dec^(-1) at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2).

Water resources have crucial implications for the steady development of the urban social *** study investigated the hydrochemical signatures and genesis of water resources in the urban area of Lhasa City(UALC).To this end,several analyses,such as ion ratio analysis and correlation analysis,were performed by comprehensively applying mathematical statistics and integrated hydrochemical *** results show relatively low concentrations of major ions in the groundwater and surface water(GSW)of the *** primary anions and cations are HCO3-and Ca2+,reflecting the HCOg-Ca water ***,groundwater exhibits higher concentrations of key chemical components compared to surface *** are weakly alkaline,with pH values of 7.78 and 7.61,respectively,and they have low salinity with average concentrations of total dissolved solids being 190.74 and 112.17 mg/L,*** inputs have minimal influence on the hydrochemical features of GSw,whereas rock weathering is the dominant controlling ***,cation *** a significant *** influencing their hydrochemical *** to the isotope analysis(H and 180),the primary source of recharge for GSW is atmospheric precipitation,with some input from melted ice and ***,GSW samples from the UALC show relatively similar 2H and 18O isotopic compositions,indicating the existence of a discernible hydraulic connection linking the two water *** research findings can serve as a valuable scientific reference and foundation for the sustainable development,effective utilization,and proper safeguarding of regional water resources in high-altitude areas.

In this paper, a filtering method is presented to estimate time-varying parameters of a missile dual control system with tail fins and reaction jets as control variables. In this method, the long-short-term memory(LSTM) neural network is nested into the extended Kalman filter(EKF) to modify the Kalman gain such that the filtering performance is improved in the presence of large model uncertainties. To avoid the unstable network output caused by the abrupt changes of system states,an adaptive correction factor is introduced to correct the network output online. In the process of training the network, a multi-gradient descent learning mode is proposed to better fit the internal state of the system, and a rolling training is used to implement an online prediction logic. Based on the Lyapunov second method, we discuss the stability of the system, the result shows that when the training error of neural network is sufficiently small, the system is asymptotically stable. With its application to the estimation of time-varying parameters of a missile dual control system, the LSTM-EKF shows better filtering performance than the EKF and adaptive EKF(AEKF) when there exist large uncertainties in the system model.
