There are critical transition phenomena during the progression of many.diseases. Such critical transitions are usually.accompanied by.catastrophic disease deterioration, and their prediction is of significant importance for disease prevention and treatment. However, predicting disease deterioration solely.based on a single sample is a difficult problem. In this study. we presented the network information gain (NIG) method, for predicting the critical transitions or disease state based on network flow entropy.(NFE) from omics data of each individual. NIG can not only.efficiently.predict disease deteriorations but also detect their dy.amic network biomarkers (DNBs) on an individual basis and further identify.potential therapeutic targets. The numerical simulation demonstrates the effectiveness of NIG. Moreover, our method was validated by.successfully.predicting disease deteriorations and identify.ng their potential therapeutic targets from four real omics datasets, i.e., an influenza dataset and three cancer datasets. © 2023

Investigating the ecological impact of land use change in the context of the construction of national water network project is crucial,as it is imperative for achieving the sustainable development goals of the national water network and guaranteeing regional ecological *** the Danjiangkou Reservoir Area(DRA),China as the study.area,this paper first examined the spatiotemporal dy.amics of natural landscape patterns and ecosy.tem service values(ESV)in the DRA from 2000 to 2018 and then investigated the spatial clustering characteristics of the ESV using spatial statistical analy.is ***,the patch-generating land use simulation(PLUS)model was used to simulate the natural landscape and future changes in the ESV of the DRA from 2018 to 2028 under four different development scenarios:business as usual(BAU),economic development(ED),ecological protection(EP),and shoreline protection(SP).The results show that:during 2000-2018,the construction of water facilities had a significant impact on regional land use/land cover(LULC)change,with a 24830 ha increase in watershed *** exhibited an increasing trend,with a significant and growing spatial clustering *** transformation of farmland to water bodies led to accelerated ESV growth,while the transformation of forest land to farmland led to a decrease in the *** difference vegetation index(NDVI)had the strongest effect on the *** exhibited a continuous increase from 2018 to 2028 under all the simulation *** EP scenario had the greatest increase in ESV,while the ED scenario had the smallest *** findings suggest that projected land use patterns under different scenarios have varied impacts on ecosy.tem services(ESs)and that the management and planning of the DRA should balance social,economic,ecological,and security.***,ecological,and security.benefits.

The gut microbiome is a key.partner of animals,influencing various aspects of their phy.iology.and *** the diverse behaviors regulated by.the gut microbiome,locomotion is vital for survival and reproduction,although the underly.ng mechanisms remain ***,we reveal that the gut microbiome modulates the locomotor behavior of Drosophila larvae via a specific neuronal ty.e in the *** crawling speed of germ-free(GF)larvae was significantly.reduced compared to the conventionally.reared larvae,while feeding and excretion behaviors were *** with Acetobacter and Lactobacillus can fully.and partially.rescue the locomotor defects in GF larvae,respectively.probably.due to the highest abundance of Acetobacter as a sy.biotic bacterium in the larval gut,followed by.***,the gut microbiome promoted larval locomotion,not by.nutrition,but rather by.enhancing the brain levels of ty.osine decarboxy.ase 2(Tdc2),which is an enzy.e that sy.thesizes octopamine(OA).Overexpression of Tdc2 rescued locomotion ability.in GF *** findings together demonstrate that the gut microbiome specifically.modulates larval locomotor behavior through the OA signaling pathway.revealing a new mechanism underly.ng larval locomotion regulated by.the gut microbiome.

It is of great significance for deep oil and gas exploration to understand the origin and evolution behind *** occurs in the deep Shahezi Formation of Xujiaweizi fault ***,due to limited degree of exploration,there are some problems in the study.area,such as unclear understanding of the origin of overpressure and the vague investigation of overpressure *** clarify.the impact of overpressure on oil and gas migration and accumulation in the study.area,this study.focuses on the research of the origin and evolution of overpressure in the Shahezi Formation of the study.area,utilizing single well logging parameters and combining methods such as microthermometry.of fluid inclusions,laser Raman spectrum,and basin *** results show that the overpressure of the Shahezi Formation in Xujiaweizi fault depression is primarily.generated by.hy.rocarbon generation pressurization,and the evolution of overpressure is closely.related to hy.rocarbon *** development of overpressure can be divided into two evolutionary.stages:early.hy.rocarbon generation pressurization and late uplift release,with slight variations in different *** glutenite gas reservoirs in the Shahezi Formation are characterized by.continuous *** overall charging period ranges from the late Denglouku to the early.Mingshui(110-67 Ma ago).There is an obvious paleo-overpressure during the gas reservoir formation *** gas generation period of source rocks occurred approximately.125-60 Ma ago,and the main gas generation period(112-67 Ma ago)highly.coincides with the period of natural gas *** anomalously.high pressure during the accumulation period is considered the significant driving force for natural gas *** addition,the sustained effect of overpressure provides better conditions for the preservation of tight gas reservoirs within the *** results of the study.are of guiding significance for the in-depth expl

An online subsection cooling method for hot rolling silicon steel was designed to achieve local adjustment of transverse roll ***,it was able to meet the requirements of edge drop of the strip by.using the features of online thermal ***,after the new subsection spray.beam was installed at the exit of mill,the special local cooling rules were analy.ed for altering the thermal crown of roll according to rolling process ***,the dy.amic impact of subsection cooling on the local thermal crown could just be obtained according to the measured ***,the heat transfer coefficient was determined by.different subsection cooling curves under varied rolling ***,the rolling rhy.hm and variable conditions were important dy.amic factors of transient roll temperature in practical rolling ***,real-time calculation and presetting of the thermal crown were carried out to maximize special requirements of load roll gap on local strip *** this new method,the transient temperature and the thermal crown of roll could be quantitatively.controlled *** the practical results showed that the predicted temperature was able to match the measured value by.more than 95%.Meanwhile,the adjustable range of thermal crown increased by.more than 2.5 ***,the qualification rate of strip edge crown has increased from the original 30%to over 70%.
