The response of a two-electron quantum ring system to the short laser pulses of different shapes in the presence of external static electric field is *** variation of transition probabilities of the two-electron quantum ring from ground state to excited states with a number of parameters is shown and *** energy levels and wavefunctions of the system in the presence of static electric field are found by solving the time-independent Schrodinger equation numerically by the finite difference *** shape of the pulse plays a dominant role on the dynamics.

This work reports the immobilization of zinc oxide(ZnO)nanostructures and gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)on cotton fabrics(CFs).The ZnO and AuNPs containing CF composite materials demonstrated excellent photocatalytic activity towards degradation of the model organic dye molecule.A two-step method was used to first create zinc oxide nanorods(ZnONRs)on the CF ***,these ZnONRs were decorated with cationic polymer-capped AuNPs to yield the composite materials.A one-pot synthetic route was developed to synthesize polymer-capped *** water-soluble cationic polymers used here are polyguanidino oxanorbornenes(PGONs)at 20 kDa and polyamino oxanorbornenes(PAONs)at 20 ***-vis was utilized to monitor the composite materials’photocatalytic activity in degrading model organic dye *** the materials were characterized by FTIR,UV-visible DRS,SEM,EDX,and *** composite materials exhibited excellent photocatalytic activity and recyclability in the presence of UV light.

The problem of steady rotation of a composite sphere located at the centre of a spherical container has been investigated. A composite particle referred to in this paper is a spherical solid core covered with a permeable spherical shell. The Brinkman＇s model for the flow inside the compos- ite sphere and the Stokes equation for the flow in the spheri- cal container were used to study the motion. The torque ex- perienced by the porous spherical particle in the presence of cavity is obtained. The wall correction factor is calculated. In the limiting cases, the analytical solution describing the torque for a porous sphere and for a solid sphere in an un- bounded medium are obtained from the present analysis.

Due to human-caused deforestation,global warming,and other environmental factors,habitat fragmentation became *** fragmentation has a variety of detrimental repercussions for many species as well as humans,especially in the agricultural *** causes insect outbreaks,the expansion of alien species,and disrupts biological management by rendering the habitat unsuitable for natural enemies in *** natural enemies with additional food is one method to improve the ecosystem and support *** this study,we assumed that the ecosystem is separated into two patches and that predators can easily migrate from one patch to the next,while prey stays inside its patch's *** looked at the impact of offering more food to predators in a patchy environment using dynamical systems *** permanence,stability,and various bifurcations that occur in the system are studied using a rigorous mathematical *** study looks at how predator's access to other food sources affects pest *** adjusting the provided food's characteristic qualities,such as(nutritional)quality and quantity,one can limit and manage the pest in one or both patches,as well as eliminate predators from the *** research reveals that providing predators with additional food(of specified quality and quantity)can help in controlling chaotic behavior in the *** findings of the study are supported by numerical simulations.

Background： Pregnancy associated glycoproteins form a diverse family of glycoproteins that are variably expressed at different stages of gestation. They are probably involved in immunosuppression of the dam against the fetomaternal placentome. The presence of the products of binucleate cells in maternal circulation has also been correlated with placentogenesis and placental re-modeling. The exact structure and function of the gene product is unknown due to limitations on obtaining purified pregnancy associated glycoprotein ***： Our study describes an in silico derived 3D model for bubaline pregnancy associated glycoprotein 2. Structure-activity features of the protein were characterized, and functional studies predict bubaline pregnancy associated glycoprotein 2 as an inducible, extra-cellular, non-essential, N-glycosylated, aspartic pro-endopeptidase that is involved in down-regulation of complement pathway and immunity during pregnancy. The protein is also predicted to be involved in nutritional processes, and apoptotic processes underlying fetal morphogenesis and remodeling of feto-maternal ***： The structural and functional annotation of buPAG2 shall allow the designing of mutants and inhibitors for dissection of the exact physiological role of the protein.

Metal oxide surge arrester models that are currently on rounds suffer from certain deficiencies and as a consequence,they are not in position to portray accurately the arrester residual *** drawback is mainly attributed to their inherent *** prevailing pressing need demands accurate performance assessment of zinc oxide arrester under all types of overvoltages including very fast transient overvoltages(VFTOs).So immediate corrective measures like the formation of a new arrester model or rejig of the existing one are urgently *** issue constitutes the centre piece/core of this *** consideration of its various merits,which includes its capacity to bring out the virtual representation of arrester activities,electromagnetic transient programme software has been chosen for this *** its aid,the arrester model recommended by IEEE Working Group has been aptly reshaped to suit the needs of VFTOs *** end results of the simulations thus carried out have clearly established its suitability for the studies involving nanosecond waves;additionally,it got its validation and endorsement from the test data obtained from different arrester *** commendable endorsements got from these studies shed clear light on *** these aspects are dealt with this work.

The parameter identification of a nonlinear Hammerstein-type process is likely to be complex and challenging due to the existence of significant nonlinearity at the input side. In this paper, a new parameter identification strategy for a block-oriented Hammerstein process is proposed using the Haar wavelet operational matrix(HWOM). To determine all the parameters in the Hammerstein model, a special input excitation is utilized to separate the identification problem of the linear subsystem from the complete nonlinear process. During the first test period, a simple step response data is utilized to estimate the linear subsystem dynamics. Then, the overall system response to sinusoidal input is used to estimate nonlinearity in the process. A single-pole fractional order transfer function with time delay is used to model the linear subsystem. In order to reduce the mathematical complexity resulting from the fractional derivatives of signals, a HWOM based algebraic approach is developed. The proposed method is proven to be simple and robust in the presence of measurement noises. The numerical study illustrates the efficiency of the proposed modeling technique through four different nonlinear processes and results are compared with existing methods.

Astilbe rivularis Buch. Ham., a rhizomatous perennial herb of the Saxifragaceae family, has been listed in rare species. In traditional medicine the plant has been used for the treatment of ulcer, bleeding during child birth, inflammation, body ache, diarrhea, and dysentery. This article reviews and analyses the traditional use, pharmacological activities of the corresponding bioactive compounds, and toxicological data on A. rivularis species. A. rivularis has been used across Indian subcontinent to treat various human ailments. Its extract consists of alkaloids, flavonoids, coumarins and glycosides. These extracts as well as isolated bioactive compounds demonstrated various biological activities including antimicrobial, anti-peptic ulcer, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant activity. Toxicological studies of the extract on brine shrimp larvae demonstrated mild toxicity;however no acute toxicity in mice. Although the pharmacological effect of A. rivularis has been poorly explored, the available data validated its use in ethnomedicine. To reveal the cryptic therapeutic potential of the species, research should focus on identification and mechanistic studies of the bioactive compounds.
