Numerical simulations using CLSVOF(coupled level set and volume of fluid)method are performed to investigate the coalescence and splashing regimes when a spherical water drop hits on the water surface with an impingement *** angle is the angle between the velocity vector of primary drop and the normal vector to water *** effect of impingement angle,impact velocity and the height of target liquid are carried *** impingement angle is varied from 0o to 90o showing the gradual change in *** formation of ship pro like shape,liquid sheet,secondary drops and crater are *** height,crater displacement,crown height and crown angle are calculated and the change in the parameters with change in impingement angle is noted.

The screening dependence of superconducting state parameters （λ, μ＊, Tc, α and NoV） of six alloys of aluminium doped Mgb2 systems are studied in the bCS-Eliashberg-MeMillan framework by employing five forms of dielectric screening function, viz. random phase approximation （RPA）, Harrison, Geldart and Vosko （GV）, Hubbard and Overhauser in conjunction with Ashcroft＇s potential. It is observed that electron-phonon coupling strength and Coulomb pseudopotential μ＊ are quite sensitive to the form of dielectric screening, whereas transition temperature Tc, isotope effect exponent α and effective interaction strength NoV show weak dependence on the form of dielectric screening function. It is found that the RPA form of dielectric screening function yields the best results for transition temperature Tc for all alloys of the Mg-Al-b system. The results obtained using GV screening are much higher than the experimental results. This shows that all the four dielectric screenings used here almost describe superconductivity in all the alloys of the Mg-Al-b system, but the GV screening is not suitable for such an alloy system.

The solution to evolution equations has developed an independent theory within nonlinear analysis dealing with the existence and approximation of such solution （ fixed point） of pseudocontractive operators and its variants. The object is to introduce a perturbed iteration method for proving the convergence of sequence of Lipschitzian pseudocontractive mapping using approximate fixed point technique. This iteration can be ued for nonlinear operators which are more general than Lipschitzian pseudocontractive operator and bruck iteration fails for proving their convergence. Our results generalize the results of Chidume and Zegeye.

In this research,we proposed a non-linear SIS model to study the effect of variable interaction rates and non-emigrating population of the human habitat on the spread of bacteria-infected *** assumed that the growth of bacteria is logistic with an intrinsic growth rate is a linear function of *** this model,we assume that contact rates between susceptibles and infectives as well as between susceptibles and bacteria depend on the density of the non-emigrating population and the total population of the *** stability theory has been analyzed to analyzed to study the crucial role played by bacteria in the increased spread of an infectious *** is shown that as the density of non-emigrating population increases,the spread of an infectious disease *** is shown further that as the emigration increases,the spread of the disease decreases in both the cases of contact mentioned above rates,but this spread increases as these contact rates *** suggested that the control of bacteria in the human habitat is very useful to decrease the spread of an infectious *** results are confirmed by numerical simulation.

The present study aims to perform computational simulations of twodimensional(2D)hemodynamics of unsteady blood flow via an inclined overlapping stenosed artery employing the Casson fluid model to discuss the hemorheological properties in the arterial region.A uniform magnetic field is applied to the blood flow in the radial direction as the magneto-hemodynamics effect is *** entropy generation is discussed using the second law of *** influence of different shape parameters is explored,which are assumed to have varied shapes(spherical,brick,cylindrical,platelet,and blade).The Crank-Nicolson scheme solves the equations and boundary conditions governing the *** a given critical height of the stenosis,the key hemodynamic variables such as velocity,wall shear stress(WSS),temperature,flow rate,and heat transfer coefficient are computed.

A 10 Years Comparative Study to Assess Trends in Seroprevalence of Transfusion Transmitted Infections among blood Donors at Gwalior, India

Introduction: Transfusion Transmitted Infections (TTIs) threaten safety of the recipients and the community as a whole and are the subject of real concern worldwide. Aims and Objectives: To know the prevalence of transfusion transmitted infections amongst the blood donors, to evaluate the changing trends of TTIs and to compare these observations within the study as well as with the other relevant studies. Place and Duration of Study: This study was carried out at blood bank, Department of Pathology, Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior, India, from January 2004 to December 2013 (ten years). Materials and Methods: In this study 122,006 voluntary and replacement donations were screened for TTIs;HIV, HbV, HCV, Syphilis, Malaria and their seroprevalence was calculated. Further study was divided in Group “A” (from 2004 to 2008) and Group “b” (from 2009 to 2013) to compare the results. Results: Out of total 122,006 blood units collected, 79,750 (65.3%) were voluntary and 42,256 (34.7%) were replacement donors. The seropositivity of TTIs in the entire study, in group “A” and in Group “b” was 3.26% (3985/122,006) (p = 0.000005), 2.25% (1238/54,874) (p = 0.000005) and 4.09% (2747/67,123) (p = 0.000005) respectively. In Group “A” and “b” seroprevalence of HIV, HbV, HCV, Syphilis and Malaria was 0.29%, 1.16%, 0.61%, 0.06%, 0.11% and 0.13%, 3.15%, 0.24%, 0.17%, 0.03% respectively. Conclusion: Our study concluded that there was significant increase in seroprevalence of HbV and syphilis whereas decreasing pattern in HIV, HCV and Malaria was observed in last five years as compared to previous five years among the blood donors.

In this work we study properties of five identities of bol-Moufang type (1), which had received little or no attention. We establish a necessary and sufficient condition for a right alternative loop to be an RC-loop. A corollary to this is the condition for a bol loop to be an RC-loop. Some properties of a generalization of RC-loops are discussed. We also state the connection of the supernucleus M(G) of a loop G with various nucleii of loops which do not have the inverse property. Finally, we give some constructions of non-associative RC-loops of order 4n, where n is a positive even integer, which are not bol loops.

Tree regeneration in gap-understory mosaics in a subtropical Shorea robusta(Sal) forest

Spatial variation in tree-regeneration density is attributed to the specialization of tree species to light availability for germination and *** availability,in turn,varies across the gap-understorey *** gaps provide an important habitat for the regeneration of tree species that would otherwise be suppressed in the *** subtropical forests,there is still a knowledge-gap relating to how canopy disturbances influence tree-regeneration patterns at local scale,and if they disproportionately favor regeneration of certain *** aim to analyze whether canopy gaps promote tree regeneration,and tree species are specialized to gaps or understory for germination and *** sampled vegetation in 128 plots(0.01 ha),equally distributed in gaps and below canopy,in two subtropical Shorea robusta Gaertn.(Sal)forests in Nepal,recording the number of tree seedlings and saplings in each *** compared the regeneration density of seedlings and saplings separately between gaps and the *** mean densities of seedlings and saplings were higher in the gaps at both sites;although there was no difference in the seedling density of the majority of the species between the *** species were confined to either gap or understorey at the seedling *** conclude that gaps are not critical for the germination of tree species in Sal forests but these are an important habitat for enabling seedlings to survive into *** classification of trees into regeneration guilds mainly based on germination does not apply to the majority of tree species in subtropical Sal *** results reaffirm that gap creation promotes tree regeneration by favouring seedling survival and growth and can influence forest management for conservation,as well as for plantations.

Wireless sensor networks are a collection of intelligent sensor devices that are connected to one another and have the capability to exchange information packets amongst *** recent years,this field of research has become increasingly popular due to the host of useful applications it can potentially serve.A deep analysis of the concepts associated with this domain reveals that the two main problems that are to be tackled here are throughput enhancement and network security *** present article takes on one of these two issues namely the throughput *** the purpose of improving network productivity,a hybrid clustering based packet propagation protocol has been *** protocol makes use of not only clustering mechanisms of machine learning but also utilizes the traditional forwarding function approach to arrive at an optimum *** result of the simulation is a novel transmission protocol which significantly enhances network productivity and increases throughput value.
