Is there a difference between 19G core biopsy needle and 22G core biopsy needle in diagnosing the correct etiology?——A meta-analysis and systematic review

AIM To compare the accuracy of endoscopic ultra-sonography(EUs) 19 G core biopsies and 22 G core biopsies in diagnosing the correct etiology for a solid *** Articles were searched in Medline, Pub Med, and Ovid journals. Pooling was conducted by both fixed and random effects models. REsULTs Initial search identified 4460 reference articles for 19 G and 22 G, of these 670 relevant articles were selected and reviewed. Data was extracted from 6 studies for 19G(n = 289) and 16 studies for 22G(n = 592) which met the inclusion criteria. EUs 19 G core biopsies had a pooled sensitivity of 91.6%(95%CI: 87.1-95.0) and pooled specificity of 95.9%(95%CI: 88.6-99.2), whereas EUs 22 G had a pooled sensitivity of 83.3%(95%CI: 79.7-86.6) and pooled specificity of 64.3%(95%CI: 54.7-73.1). The positive likelihood ratio of EUs 19 G core biopsies was 9.08(95%CI: 1.12-73.66) and EUs 22 G core biopsies was 1.99(95%CI: 1.09-3.66).The negative likelihood ratio of EUs 19 G core biopsies was 0.12(95%CI: 0.07-0.24) and EUs 22 G core biopsies was 0.25(95%CI: 0.14-0.41). The diagnostic odds ratio was 84.74(95%CI: 18.31-392.26) for 19 G core biopsies and 10.55(95% CI: 3.29-33.87) for 22 G needles. CONCLUsION EUs 19 G core biopsies have an excellent diagnostic value and seem to be better than EUs 22 G biopsies in detecting the correct etiology for a solid mass.

A variety of alkyl-arenes and cyclohexane were converted to the corresponding ketones with NaC10 as the oxidant in the presence of 1-glycyl-3-methyl imidazolium chloride--copper（II） complex. This method contains simplified product isolation and catalyst recycling, affording benzylic C-H oxidation of alkyl-arenes imparting high yield of ketones. Furthermore, complex could be reused seven times without a significant loss of its catalytic activity.

seismic response evaluation of base-isolated reinforced concrete buildings under bidirectional excitation

This paper reports on an investigation of the seismic response of base-isolated reinforced concrete buildings, which considers various isolation system parameters under bidirectional near-fault and far-fault motions. Three-dimensional models of 4-, 8-, and 12-story base-isolated buildings with nonlinear effects in the isolation system and the superstructure are investigated, and nonlinear response history analysis is carried out. The bounding values of isolation system properties that incorporate the aging effect of isolators are also taken into account, as is the current state of practice in the design and analysis of base-isolated buildings. The response indicators of the buildings are studied for near-fault and far-fault motions weight-scaled to represent the design earthquake （DE） level and the risk-targeted maximum considered earthquake （MCER） level. Results of the nonlinear response history analyses indicate no structural damage under DE-level motions for near-fault and far-fault motions and for MCER-level far-fault motions, whereas minor structural damage is observed under MCER- level near-fault motions. Results of the base-isolated buildings are compared with their fixed-base counterparts. significant reduction of the superstructure response of the 12-story base-isolated building compared to the fixed-base condition indicates that base isolation can be effectively used in taller buildings to enhance performance. Additionally, the applicability of a rigid superstructure to predict the isolator displacement demand is also investigated. It is found that the isolator displacements can be estimated accurately using a rigid body model for the superstructure for the buildings considered.

Bulk arrival retrial G-queue with impatient customers and multi-servicessubject to server breakdowns has been analyzed. The system allows the arrival oftwo types of customers: positive customers and negative customers in the *** negative customers make the server fail if they find the server in busy state,whereas positive customers are served if the server is idle otherwise they join thevirtual pool of customers called orbit. The customers from the retrial orbit try theirchance again for the service. The customers have the option of obtaining more than oneservice. Moreover, the customers are impatient and may renege from the system withprobability (1−r ). The server is sent for repair as soon as it breakdowns;after repair,the service process starts again. Also, the server has the provision to initiate the servicewhen there areN customers accumulated in the system. Using supplementary variablestechnique and generating functions, various performance measures like reliabilityindices and long run probabilities have been obtained.

The ferromagnetic antiresonance （FMAR） phenomenon, i.e., the minimum of the microwave absorption, in polycrystalline La0.49sr0.51MnO3 is observed near Curie temperature TC = 282 K. Temperature-dependences of magnetization μ0M are obtained from the FMAR. The results show that as μ0H = 0, by fitting the scaling law M ∝ （TC -T）^β to temperature-dependences of μ0M at the different microwave frequencies, it yields TC=281.2 K and β = 0.47. However, temperature-dependences of μ0M under different μ0H are not in agreement with the scaling law. Due to FMAR, about 40% giant microwave magneto-impedance at 11.9 GHz can occur under a low field μ0H = 0.03 T.

In recent years,social media platforms have gained immense *** a result,there has been a tremendous increase in content on social media *** content can be related to an individual’s sentiments,thoughts,stories,advertisements,and news,among many other content *** the recent increase in online content,the importance of identifying fake and real news has ***,there is a lot of work present to detect fake news,a study on Fuzzy CRNN was not explored into this *** this work,a system is designed to classify fake and real news using fuzzy *** initial feature extraction process is done using a convolutional recurrent neural network(CRNN).After the extraction of features,word indexing is done with high ***,based on the indexing measures,the ranking process identifies whether news is fake or *** fuzzy CRNN model is trained to yield outstanding resultswith 99.99±0.01%*** work utilizes three different datasets(LIAR,LIAR-PLUs,and IsOT)to find the most accurate model.

By using nonuniform(geometric)grid network,a new high-order finite-difference compact scheme has been obtained for the numerical solution of three-space dimensions partial differential equations of elliptic *** cell discretization to the elliptic equation makes it easier to compute and exhibit stability of the numerical *** monotone and irreducible property of the Jacobian matrix to the system of difference equations analyses the converging behavior of the numerical solution *** an experiment,applications of the compact scheme to schr¨odinger equations,sine-Gordon equations,elliptic Allen–Cahn equation and Poisson’s equation have been presented with root mean squared errors of exact and approximate solution *** results corroborate the reliability and efficiency of the scheme.

In the distributed data-intensive computing environment,securely assigning tasks to appropriate machines is a big job scheduling *** complexity of this problem increases with the number of jobs and their job *** meta-heuristic algorithms including particle swarm optimization(PsO)technique and variable neighborhood particle swarm optimization(VNPsO)technique are employed to solve the problem to a certain *** paper proposes a modified PsO with scout adaptation(MPsO-sA)algorithm,which uses a cyclic term called mutation operator,to solve the job scheduling problem in the cloud *** comparative study between the proposed MPsO-sA scheduling mechanism and the conventional scheduling algorithms show that the proposed method decreases the probability of security risk on scheduling the jobs.
