Adaptive multicolor filters have emerged as key components for ensuring color accuracy and resolution in outdoor visual ***,the current state of this technology is still in its infancy and largely reliant on liquid crystal devices that require high voltage and bulky structural ***,we present a multicolor nanofilter consisting of multilayered‘active’plasmonic nanocomposites,wherein metallic nanoparticles are embedded within a conductive polymer *** nanocomposites are fabricated with a total thickness below 100 nm using a‘lithography-free’method at the wafer level,and they inherently exhibit three prominent optical modes,accompanying scattering phenomena that produce distinct dichroic reflection and transmission ***,a pivotal achievement is that all these colors are electrically manipulated with an applied external voltage of less than 1 V with 3.5 s of switching speed,encompassing the entire visible ***,this electrically programmable multicolor function enables the effective and dynamic modulation of the color temperature of white light across the warm-to-cool spectrum(3250 K-6250 K).This transformative capability is exceptionally valuable for enhancing the performance of outdoor optical devices that are independent of factors such as the sun’s elevation and prevailing weather conditions.

Metal halide perovskites,particularly the quasi-two-dimensional perovskite subclass,have exhibited considerable potential for next-generation electroluminescent materials for lighting and ***,the presence of defects within these perovskites has a substantial influence on the emission efficiency and durability of the *** this study,we revealed a synergistic passivation mechanism on perovskite films by using a dual-functional compound of potassium *** dual functional potassium bromide on the one hand can passivate the defects of halide vacancies with bromine anions and,on the other hand,can screen the charged defects at the grain boundaries with potassium *** approach effectively reduces the probability of carriers quenching resulting from charged defects capture and consequently enhances the radiative recombination efficiency of perovskite thin films,leading to a significant enhancement of photoluminescence quantum yield to near-unity values(95%).Meanwhile,the potassium bromide treatment promoted the growth of homogeneous and smooth film,facilitating the charge carrier injection in the ***,the perovskite light-emitting diodes based on this strategy achieve a maximum external quantum efficiency of~21%and maximum luminance of~60,000 cd m^(-2).This work provides a deeper insight into the passivation mechanism of ionic compound additives in perovskite with the solution method.

spruce-dominated forests are commonly exposed to disturbances associated with mass occurrences of bark *** dieback of trees triggers many physical and chemical processes in the ecosystem resulting in rapid changes in the vegetation of the lower forest *** aimed to determine the response of non-tree understory vegetation to the mass dieback of Norway spruce(Picea abies)in the first years after the disturbance caused by the European spruce bark beetle(Ips typographus)*** study area was the Białowieża Biosphere Reserve covering the Polish part of the emblematic Białowieża Forest,in total 597km^(2).The main data source comprised 3,900 phytosociological relevés(combined spring and summer campaigns)collected from 1,300 systematically distributed forest sites in 2016–2018–the peak years of the bark beetle *** found that the understory responded immediately to mass spruce dieback,with the most pronounced changes observed in the year of the disturbance and the subsequent ***-tolerant forest species declined in the initial years following the mass spruce dieback,while hemicryptophytes,therophytes,light-demanding species associated with non-forest seminatural communities,as well as water-demanding forest species,*** acetosella,the most common understory species in the Białowieża Forest,showed a distinct fluctuation pattern,with strong short-term expansion right after spruce dieback,followed by a gradual decline over the next 3–4 years to a cover level 5 percentage points lower than before the ***,our study revealed that mass spruce dieback selectively affects individual herb species,and their responses can be directional and non-directional(fluctuation).Furthermore,we demonstrated that the mass dieback of spruce temporarily increases plant species diversity(α-diversity).

Rational urban design helps to build sustainable cities with high ventilation capacity and pollutant removal ca-pacity,but the effect of building height on ventilation and pollutant dispersion inside asymmetric canyons has not been fully *** this paper,we studied the effect of increasing the degree of building height asym-metry(DBHA)on canyon ventilation and pollutant diffusion in shallow and deep asymmetric street canyons by considering six different building height ratios(BHR=3/4,1/2,1/3,4/3,2/1 and 3/1).The results show that increasing the DBHA in asymmetric canyons can improve the ventilation and pollutant removal *** step-up canyons,increasing the downwind building height is very useful to improve ventilation and pollutant *** shallow/deep step-up canyons with BHR=1/3,the air exchange rate(ACH)increased to 211.2%and 380.1%of the flat canyons,*** spatially-average pollutant concentration in the pedestrian zones(leeward Kavg∗ang windward Kavg∗)decreases significantly with the increase of DBHA,especially for the deep step-up canyon with BHR=1/3,the leeward Kavg∗and windward Kavg∗decrease to 15.3%and 3%,***,increasing the upwind building height can also improve the ventilation capacity in the step-down *** the deep step-down canyon with BHR=3/1,the leeward Kavg∗and windward Kavg∗decreased to 40.6%and 24.1%of the deep flat canyon,***,the ventilation capacity is very low for step-down canyons with BHR=4/3,and for step-down canyons with BHR≥2/1,the ventilation capacity and pollutant removal capacity increase significantly with the increase of ***,in urban planning,step-down canyons with BHR=4/3 should be avoided and designed to satisfy the condition of BHR≥2/*** findings will be a valuable reference for urban designers to build sustainable cities with high ventilation capacity.

The synthesis process of conventional Mn-based denitrification catalysts is relatively complex and *** this paper,a resource application of chlorella was proposed,and a Chlorella@Mn composite denitrification catalyst was innovatively synthesized by electrostatic *** Chlorella@Mn composite denitrification catalyst prepared under the optimal conditions(0.54 g/L Mn^(2+)concentration,20 million chlorellas/mL concentration,450℃ calcination temperature)exhibited a well-developed pore structure and large specific surface area(122 m^(2)/g).Compared with MnOx alone,the Chlorella@Mn composite catalyst achieved superior performance,with~100%NH_(3)selective catalytic reduction(NH_(3)-sCR)denitrification activity at 100-225℃.The results of NH_(3)temperature-programmed desorption(NH_(3)-TPD)and H_(2)temperature-programmed reduction(H_(2)-TPR)showed that the catalyst had strong acid sites and good redox *** potential testing showed that the electronegativity of the chlorella cell surface could be used to enrich with Mn^(2+).X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPs)confirmed that Chlorella@Mn had a high content of Mn^(3+)and surface chemisorbed ***-situ diffuse refectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(in-situ DRIFTs)experimental results showed that both Langmuir-Hinshelwood(L-H)and Eley-Rideal(E-R)mechanisms play a role in the denitrification process on the surface of the Chlorella@Mn catalyst,where the main intermediate nitrate species is monodentate *** presence of sO_(2)promoted the generation and strengthening of Bronsted acid sites,but also generated more sulfate species on the surface,thereby reducing the denitrification activity of the Chlorella@Mn *** Chlorella@Mn composite catalyst had the characteristics of short preparation time,simple process and low cost,making it promising for industrial application.
