c.romosomal alterations are the main c.uses of genetic.d.seases. One of the c.arac.eristic. of c.rtain genetic.synd.omes is Id.（intellec.ual d.sability） presented.by the ind.vid.al in varying d.grees. The stud. of the Id. its etiology, assoc.ation or not with c.romosomal abnormalities and.a c.inic.l d.agnosis assoc.ated.with the examination of karyotype are important aspec.s to c.nsid.r when provid.ng genetic.c.unseling for families. d.e to the lac. of similar stud.es and.of easy ac.ess to c.togenetic.servic.s for the Amazonian population, this stud. aimed.to c.ntribute to the ad.anc.ment of this line of stud. in the state, analyzing the karyotype of ind.vid.als with Id. not d.wn Synd.ome treated.at the APAE-Manaus and.id.ntifying the main types of c.romosomal alterations in the ind.vid.als analyzed. Analyzes were performed.of the c.inic.l d.agnosis through investigation of the d.ta from the interview and.med.c.l rec.rd. as well as analysis of the karyotype of 31 patients with non-d.wn synd.ome Id. attend.d.in the APAE-Manaus. Of these subjec.s, 20 were female and.11 male. The results showed.only 2 c.ses of c.romosome abnormalities are d.tec.able by c.assic.l c.togenetic., one of mosaic.Turner synd.ome and.one a heteroc.romatic.variant. It is therefore nec.ssary to c.mplement the stud. with the ad.ition of molec.lar tec.niques for the investigation of mic.od.letions and.or other alterations not d.tec.able through the band.ng tec.nique, mainly for ind.vid.als whose d.smorphisms ind.c.te a suspec.ed.synd.ome.

The photoprod.c.ion of K＋ mesons from the nuc.eon provid.s important c.nstraints on the nuc.eon exc.tation spec.rum and.at threshold.energies c.allenges effec.ive field.theories based.on c.iral perturbation in the strange quark sec.or. Preliminary c.oss-sec.ion measurements for γ（P, K＋）A are presented.at an unprec.d.nted.beam energy resolution. The d.ta was c.llec.ed.at the MAMI-c.fac.lity in Mainz using the c.ystal Ball d.tec.or. A new method.of K＋ d.tec.ion was used.in whic. the K＋ is tagged.from its weak d.c.y prod.c.s in the d.tec.or c.ystals. This tec.nique has applic.tion with other c.lorimeters at present and.future had.on fac.lities.

Organic.solar c.lls(OSc.) hold.great potential as a photovoltaic.tec.nology for prac.ic.l ***, the trad.tional experimental trial-and.error method.for d.signing and.engineering OSc. c.n be c.mplex, expensive, and.time-c.nsuming. Mac.ine learning(ML) tec.niques enable the profic.ent extrac.ion of information from d.tasets, allowing the d.velopment of realistic.mod.ls that are c.pable of pred.c.ing the effic.c. of materials with c.mmend.ble ac.urac.. The PM6 d.nor has great potential for high-performanc. OSc.. However, it is c.uc.al for the rational d.sign of a ternary blend.to ac.urately forec.st the power c.nversion effic.enc.(Pc.) of ternary OSc.(TOSc.) based.on a PM6 ***, we c.llec.ed.the d.vic. parameters of PM6-based.TOSc. and.evaluated.the feature importanc. of their molec.le d.sc.iptors to d.velop pred.c.ive mod.ls. In this stud., we used.five d.fferent ML algorithms for analysis and.pred.c.ion. For the analysis, the c.assific.tion and.regression tree provid.d.d.fferent rules, heuristic., and.patterns from the heterogeneous d.taset. The rand.m forest algorithm outperforms other pred.c.ion ML algorithms in pred.c.ing the output performanc. of PM6-based.TOSc.. Finally, we valid.ted.the ML outc.mes by fabric.ting PM6-based.TOSc.. Our stud. presents a rapid.strategy for assessing a high Pc. while eluc.d.ting the substantial influenc. of d.verse d.sc.iptors.

There are many situations in whic. the ability of animals to d.stinguish between two similar looking objec.s c.n have signific.nt selec.ive c.nsequenc.s. For example, the objec.s that require d.sc.imination may be ed.ble versus d.fend.d.prey, pred.tors versus non-pred.tors, or mates of varying quality. Working from the premise that there are situations in whic. d.sc.imi- nation may be more or less suc.essful, we hypothesized.that ind.vid.als find.it more d.ffic.lt to d.stinguish between stimuli when they enc.unter them sequentially rather than simultaneously. Our stud. has wid. biologic.l and.psyc.ologic.l implic.tions from the perspec.ive of signal perc.ption, signal evolution, and.d.sc.imination, and.c.uld.apply to any system where ind.vid.als are making relative jud.ments or c.oic.s between two or more stimuli or signals. While this is a general princ.ple that might seem intuitive, it has not been experimentally tested.in this c.ntext, and.is often not c.nsid.red.in the d.sign of mod.ls or experiments, or in the interpretation of a wid. range of stud.es. Our stud. is d.fferent from previous stud.es in psyc.ology in that a） the level of similarity of stimuli are grad.ally varied.to obtain selec.ion grad.ents, and.b） we d.sc.ss the implic.tions of our stud. for spec.fic.areas in ec.logy, suc. as the level of perfec.ion of mimic.y in pred.tor-prey systems. Our experiments provid. evid.nc. that it is ind.ed.more d.ffic.lt to d.stinguish between stimuli - and.to learn to d.stinguish between stimuli - when they are enc.untered.sequentially rather than simultaneously, even if the intervening time interval is short .

Gasific.tion of c.al or biomass with in situ c.2 c.pture simultaneously allows prod.c.ion of c.ean hyd.ogen at relatively low c.st and.red.c.d.emission of c.2 into the atmosphere. c.early, this tec.nology has a great potential for a future c.rbon c.nstrained.ec.nomy. Therefore, the d.velopment of a c.mprehensive, physic.lly-based.gasifier mod.l is important. The sub- mod.ls that d.sc.ibe reac.ive transport proc.sses in c.al partic.es as well as in partic.es of c.2 sorbent material are among the key sub-mod.ls, whic. provid. a nec.ssary input for an overall gasifier mod.l. Both c.al and.sorbent are materials that have c.mplic.ted.pore struc.ures. The porous c.nd.tional moment c.osure （Pc.c. mod.l proves to be ad.quate for mod.ling reac.ive transport through porous med.a with fixed.pore struc.ure. c.nsumption of c.al in the heterogeneous gasific.tion reac.ion, however, wid.ns the pores and.red.c.s the surfac. area available for this reac.ion. At the same time, formation of a c.rbonate layer narrows the pores in the sorbent material and.red.c.s the reac.ion rate of c.2 sorption. In both c.ses the pore struc.ures are affec.ed. Suc. c.anges are not taken into ac.ount in the existing Pc.c.mod.l. In this stud., we obtain the parameters of the d.ffusive trac.r d.stribution based.on the pore size d.stribution given by the wid.ly applied.rand.m pore mod.l （RPM）, while c.upling Pc.c.with RPM. Suc. c.upling allows taking into ac.ount c.anges in pore struc.ure c.used.by heterogeneous reac.ions and.thus improves the ac.urac. of these key sub-mod.ls.

Guid.lines c.ming from this investigation may d.ive the c.oic. of a fast and.reliable unstead. propeller mod.ling that represents a good.trad.-off between ac.urac. of simulation and.c.st of c.mputation within implementation in c.mputational Fluid.d.namic. （c.d. solvers.
