In this study,we used a network meta-analysis(NMA)to compare the effectiveness of medicines and supplements for idiopathic male infertility and to identify the best ***,Excerpta Medica Database(EMBASE),Ovid,and China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),were searched for the period from january 1990 to june 2021 using the keywords"male infertility,""medical therapy,""supplement/nutrient therapy,"and related *** controlled trials(RCTs)investigating medicines(mainly follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),androgen,and clomiphene/tamoxifen)or supplements(mainly zinc,selenium,vitamin C or E,carnitine,coenzyme Q10(CoQ10),or combined treatment)for idiopathic infertile men were selected for *** reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis(PRISMA)was used for data extraction,and a risk-of-bias tool and grades of recommendation,assessment,development,and evaluation(GRADE)system adapted to the NMA were employed to assess the quality of the *** primary outcomes were live birth and spontaneous pregnancy rate(SPR).The secondary outcomes were sperm parameters(including concentration,progressive motility,and morphology)and side *** total,65 RCTs involving 7541 men with sperm abnormalities but normal hormone levels were included.A total of 36 studies reported SPR but only three reported live birth *** quality of the included studies was found to be moderate to *** with a placebo or being untreated,carnitine plus vitamins significantly improved SPR(relative risk(RR)=3.7,95%confidence interval(95%CI),1.6-8.5);fatty acids significantly increased sperm concentrations(mean difference(MD)=12.5×10^(6)mL-1,95%CI,3.1×10^(6)-22.0×10^(6));and selective estrogen receptor modulator(SERM)plus CoQ10 significantly improved sperm progressive motility(MD=11.0%,95%CI,0.1%-21.9%)and normal sperm morphology(MD=11.0%,95%CI,4.6%-17.4%).The most optimal intervention was carnitine plus vitamins and fatty acids for SPR a

目前,尚无有效疗法可治愈由严重急性呼吸综合征冠状病毒2(severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2,SARS-CoV-2)引起的新型冠状病毒肺炎(coronavirus disease 2019,COVID-19)。为了评估抗病毒药物特力阿扎维林治疗COVID-19的有效性和安全性,本研究针对感染COVID-19的成年住院患者开展了一项随机双盲对照试验。本研究从10个分中心招募COVID-19患者,并将患者按1:1的比例随机分为两组。试验组的患者每天服用250 mg的特力阿扎维林药物3~4次,对照组患者则服用安慰剂,为期共7 d。主要结局指标为临床改善时间,临床改善时间的定义为随机分组28d内患者的体温、呼吸频率、血氧饱和度、咳嗽频率和肺CT(计算机断层扫描,computed tomography)所显示的肺部感染吸收情况全部恢复正常的时间。次要结局指标包括主要结局指标的5个组成指标,及肺部感染吸收的平均时间和吸收比例,以及用咽拭子采样法连续两次SARS-CoV-2核酸检测阴性的转阴率。与此同时,记录合并的治疗药物、不良事件和严重不良事件。由于需要进行住院治疗的新增感染病例的减少,本研究在招募52名患者后便停止招募。将52名受试者随机分为服用特力阿扎维林药物的试验组(n=26)和服用安慰剂的对照组(n=26)。结果显示,两组临床改善时间并无明显差异[中位数,7 d vs.12 d;风险比(RR)为2.0;95%置信区间(CI)为0.7~5.6;p=0.2]。服用特力阿扎维林的试验组中有10名患者发生临床改善,服用安慰剂的对照组中有6名患者出现临床改善(38.5%vs.23.1%,RR为2.1;95%CI为0.6~7.0;p=0.2)。除了肺部感染的吸收情况外(试验组50.0%,对照组26.1%),其余主要结局所观察指标均在28 d内恢复正常。此外,试验组的患者在呼吸系统、心脏、肾、肝或凝血功能等方面的合并治疗较对照组少。尽管特力阿扎维林药物对COVID-19患者的疗效尚未达到统计学上的显著性水平,但本研究结果表明,由于特力阿扎维林药物具有抗病毒作用,将其用于COVID-19的治疗也可能具有一定的疗效。对此,需要进一步的研究进行验证。

An implementation assessment of China's Environmental Information Disclosure Decree

China＇s 2007 Open Government Information Regulations is widely considered as a milestone in the country＇s information policy history and is praised as a ＂sunshine program＂. The Environmental Information Disclosure Decree was the first to operationalize these general regulations into a sectorai information disclosure system on environment. This study assessed the implementation of the environmental information disclosure system about six months after the Decree took effect on May 1, 2008. Through reviewing the websites of all 31 provincial Environmental Protection Bureaus and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, conducting an experiment with actual information disclosure request, and through interviews with all provincial Environmental Protection Bureaus, this article concluded that the implementation of the environmental information disclosure system still fails short. Future improvements should focus on further publicity of the regulations and decree to enhance public participation, the establishment of an independent evaluation and supervision system for information disclosure, the exchange of experiences and best practices among provincial Environmental Protection Bureaus, and on strengthening the legal status of environmental information disclosure.

Transition to a low-carbon city： lessons learned from Suzhou in China

Climate change has become one of the most serious challenges facing humanity; developing a low- carbon economy provides new opportunities for addressing this issue. Building a low-carbon city has been pursued by people with a high degree of enthusiasm in China. Different from actions at the national level and distinct from practices of developed countries, low-carbon development in Chinese cities should be placed on diverse concerns. Taking Suzhou of jiangsu Province of China as a case city, this paper adopts a scenario analysis approach to explore strategic focal points in the transition to a low- carbon city. Within this transition, we mainly focus on the different contributions from two factors-economic restruc- turing and technological upgrading. Scenario analysis results show that 1） in the case of no breakthrough technologies, it is difficult to achieve absolute emission reductions; 2） technologies involved in optimizing energy structure and improving energy efficiency of basic service sectors should be highly emphasized in local planning; 3） in comparison with technological upgrading, economic structural adjustment could be a stronger contributor to mitigation, which is one of the main differences from developed countries. However, the key issue of economic restructuring is to promote the growth of emerging low- carbon industries, which requires not only a strategic choice of new industries but also an introduction of advanced low-carbon technologies. It is also found that establishing a local carbon emissions accounting system is a prerequisite and the first priority for realizing a low-carbon transition and government capacity buildings should be strengthened accordingly.

Factors influencing polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin and polychlorinated dibenzofuran (PCDD/F) emissions and control in major industrial sectors: Case evidence from Shandong Province, China

Analyzing determinants that influence polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin and polychlorinated dibenzofuran（PCDD/F） emissions is helpful for decision-makers to find effective and efficient ways to mitigate PCDD/F emissions. The PCDD/F emissions and the contributions of the scale effect, structure effect and technology effect to emissions from eight main industrial sectors in2006, 2008 and 2010 in Shandong Province, were calculated in this article. Total PCDD/F emissions in Shandong increased by 52.8% in 2008（614.1 g I-TEQ） and 49.7% in 2010（601.8 g I-TEQ） based on 2006（401.9 g I-TEQ）. According to the decomposition method, the largest influencing factor on PCDD/F emission changes was the composition effect（contributed 43.4%in 2008 and 120.6% in 2010 based on 2006）, which was also an emission-increasing *** this case, the present industrial restructuring policy should be adjusted to control the proportion of production capacities with high emission factors, such as iron ore sintering and steelmaking and the secondary non-ferrous metal sector. The scale effect increased the emissions in 2008（contributed 21.9%） and decreased the emissions in 2010（contributed-28.0%）. However, as a source control measure, the excess capacity control policy indeed had a significant role in emission reduction. The main reason for the technology effect（contributed 34.7% in 2008 and 7.4% in 2010 based on 2006） having an emission-increasing role was the weakness in implementing policies for restricting industries with outdated facilities. Some specific suggestions were proposed on PCDD/F reduction for local administrators at the end.

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION DISCLOSURE IN CHINA： IN THE ERA OF INFORMATIZATION AND BIG DATA

The past decade has seen remarkable progress made in the field of environmental information disclosure in China. While the overall institutional changes and the motivation/willingness of the government to open up information are important conditions, China＇s encounter with revolutionary Information and Communication Technological （ICT） advancement and rapidly emerging big data quickly changed China from an ＂information poor environment＂ to an ＂information complex environment.＂ While most previous studies centered on those drives/constraints that were recognized in established informational governance framework, recent advancement in ICTs and emerging big data posed new challenges, opportunities and research questions. When increasing information disclosure became a new game changer in environmental governance, China has had to cope with risks and pitfalls in a new technology-empowered information environment as well. This article updated previous studies on legislation/ regulations/policies regarding environmental information disclosure in China and their implementation effectiveness, and paid special attention to China＇s recent informatization progress and emerging big data. Information disclosure was treated as a process that includes data/information generation/collection, disclosure, functional pathways of communication, and direct/indirect impacts. Changes in environmental information disclosure should be understood in a broader context of overall changing environmental governance and informatization in China. It is important to understand ICTs and information disclosure as a double-edged sword. Normative, substantive, and instrumental benefits of disclosure as well as collection and reporting costs, the issue of targeted transparency, and the risk of unintended use should be strategically considered. Principles and guidelines need to be developed to avoid pitfalls while maximizing benefits.

Electrochemical tests and surface analysis were applied to study the corrosion behavior and passive film characteristics of three-dimensional-printed NiTi shape memory alloys fabricated by laser-powder bed fusion(LPBF) in artificial saliva at 37.C. The passivity of L-PBF NiTi shows to be influenced by the process parameters and resulting morphological and physicochemical surface properties. The results show that the defects at the surface of L-PBF Ni Ti can promote the passivation rate in the early stages of exposure but a slowly formed passive film shows the best corrosion protection. The thickness of the passive film is positively correlated with its corrosion protective performance. The L-PBF NiTi alloy prepared at a linear energy density of 0.2 j·m^(-1) and volumetric energy density of 56 j·mm^(-3) shows the least defects and best corrosion protection. An outer Ti-rich and inner Ni-rich dense passive film could be also obtained showing higher corrosion resistance.

The effect of high and low exercise intensity periods on a simple memory recognition test

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of variable intensities on a simple memory recognition task during ***: Twenty active participants took part in initial testing, a familiarization trial and then four 60 min cycling interventions in a randomized *** consisted of no exercise（control）, constant exercise at 90% ventilatory threshold（constant） and 2 trials that initially mimicked the constant trial, but then included periods of high(90% VO2peak) and low intensities(50% VO2peak). Cardiorespiratory measures and capillary blood samples were taken throughout. A short tablet-based cognitive task was completed prior to and during（50 and 55 min into exercise） each ***: The exercise conditions facilitated response time（p = 0.009）, although the extent of this effect was not as strong in the variable exercise conditions（p = 0.011–0.089）. High intensity exercise periods resulted in some cognitive regression back towards control trial *** in cardiorespiratory measures and periods of hypocapnia could not explain changes in cognitive ***: Changes in cognitive performance with variations in exercise intensity are likely to have implications for sport and occupational settings. The timing of cognitive tests to exercise intensity changes as well as use of short cognitive assessments will be important for future work.
