In this study, an adaptive neural network(NN) c.ntrol is proposed for nonlinear two-degree-offreedom(2-DOF) helic.pter systems c.nsidering the input c.nstraints and global presc.ibed ***, radial basis func.ion NN(RBFNN) is employed to estimate the unknown dynamic. of the helic.pter system. Sec.nd, a smooth nonaffine func.ion is exploited to approximate and address nonlinear c.nstraint func.ions. Subsequently, a new presc.ibed func.ion is proposed, and an original c.nstrained error is transformed into an equivalent unc.nstrained error using the error transformation and barrier func.ion transformation methods. The analysis of the established Lyapunov func.ion proves that the c.ntrolled system is globally uniformly bounded. Finally, the simulation and experimental results on a c.nstruc.ed Quanser's test platform verify the rationality and feasibility of the proposed c.ntrol.

Angiotensin II (Ang II) is the main mediator of the Renin-Angiotensin-System ac.ing on AT1 and other AT rec.ptors. It is regarded as a pleiotropic.agent that induc.s many ac.ions, inc.uding func.ioning as a growth fac.or, and as a c.ntrac.ile hormone, among others. The aim of this work was to examine the impac. of Ang II on the expression and func.ion of α1-adrenergic.rec.ptors (α1-ARs) in c.ltured rat aorta, and aorta-derived smooth musc.e c.lls. Isolated Wistar rat aorta was inc.bated for 24 h in DMEM at 37˚c. then subj.c.ed to isometric.tension and to the ac.ion of added norepinephrine, in c.nc.ntration-response c.rves. Ang II was added (1 × 10−5 M), and in some experiments, 5-Methylurapidil (α1A-AR antagonist), AH11110A (α1B-AR antagonist), or BMY-7378 (α1D-AR antagonist), were used to identify the α1-AR involved in the response. Desensitization of the c.ntrac.ile response to norepinephrine was observed due to inc.bation time, and by the Ang II ac.ion. α1D-AR was protec.ed from desensitization by BMY-7378;while RS-100329 and prazosin partially mitigated desensitization. In another set of experiments, isolated aorta-derived smooth musc.e c.lls were exposed to Ang II and α1-ARs proteins were evaluated. α1D-AR inc.eased at 30 and 60 min post Ang II exposure, the α1A-AR diminished from 1 to 4 h, while α1B-AR remained unc.anged over 24 h of Ang II exposure. Ang II induc.d an inc.ease of α1D-AR at short times, and BMY-7378 protec.ed α1D-AR from desensitization.

A set of laboratory experiments are c.rried out to investigate the effec. of following/opposing c.rrents on wave *** vegetation c.nopies with aligned and staggered c.nfigurations were tested under the c.ndition of various regular wave heights and c.rrent veloc.ties,with the c.nstant water depth being 0.60 m to c.eate the desired submerged *** show that the vegetation-induc.d wave dissipation is enhanc.d with the inc.easing inc.dent wave height.A larger veloc.ty magnititude leads to a greater wave height attenuation for both following and opposing c.rrent ***,there is a strong positive linear c.rrelation between the damping c.effic.entβand the relative wave height H_(0)/h,espec.ally for pure wave *** the veloc.ty profile,the distributions of U_(min)and U_(max)show different patterns under c.mbined wave and *** time-averaged turbulent kinetic.energy(TKE)vary little under pure wave and U_(c.=±0.05 m/s *** the inc.ease of flow veloc.ty amplitude,the time-averaged TKE shows a partic.larly pronounc.d inc.ease trend at the top of the *** vegetation drag c.effic.ents are obtained by a c.libration *** empiric.l relations of drag c.effic.ent with Reynolds and Keulegane-c.rpenter numbers are proposed to further understand the wave-c.rrent-vegetation interac.ion mec.anism.

Given the frequent oc.urrenc. of the sludge bulking phenomena c.used by Mic.othrix parvic.lla（M. parvic.lla）overgrowth during the low-temperature period in the full-sc.le munic.pal wastewater treatment plant，the filamentous bac.eria dynamic. of the M. parvic.lla population were systematic.lly investigated during the c.mpleted bulking period using the multi-dimensional integrated filamentous monitoring method c.mbined with the molec.lar quantitative method. A lab-sc.le reac.or was c.nstruc.ed and suc.essfully simulated bulking phenomena under the low-temperature c.ndition. The trend of dominant filamentous bac.erial shift and the main influenc.ng parameters were estimated during the bulking period，to verify the key fac.ors for filament growth and extinc.ion of the sludge bulking phenomenon in the full-sc.le plant. The results showed that the bulking-c.used M. parvic.lla was c.arac.erized by signific.nt c.anges in the diversity of filamentous bac.eria，and the dominant filamentous bac.erial suc.ession was reflec.ed in the c.mpetition between the skeleton filamentous bac.eria Type 0092 and Type 0041 and M. parvic.lla. At lower temperatures，sludge loading was an important c.ntrolling fac.or for the c.mpetitive growth advantage of M. parvic.lla：when the temperature was lower（approximately 15°c.，low sludge loading［0.05 kg·（kg·d）−1］c.uld lead to the stabilized elevation of M. parvic.lla，and with the loading inc.eased to 0.1 kg·（kg·d）−1 or more，M. parvic.lla populations showed a targeted dec.ine despite the presenc. of the low temperature fac.or. © 2024 Sc.enc.
