Introduction: The association of the professional exposure to the decline of the male reproductive function had been the subject of several studies but without arriving to one envisagement undeniable of its existence. The ICSI, technique of reference in severe male infertilities, is visavis unexplained failures whose environmental and professional exposure could be about its cause partly. In this work, we tried to highlight an association between certain factors of professional exposure and the deterioration of the spermatic parameters, then to evaluate the effect of such factors on the result of the ICSI. Materials and Methods: It is about a study of the exposed type—no exposed, realized through collaboration between the Unit of Medicine of the Reproduction and the Service of Medicine of Work of the CHU Farhat hached of Sousse. This study was based on a questionnaire of which part of the items was collected medical files of the patients raising the general characteristics, the profile of exposure as well as the spermatic parameters and the biological assessment of ICSI. Results: Significant associations between the deterioration of sperm and the professional risk factors such as the exposure to the formaldehydes (p = 0.01) and heat (p = 0.001) were noted. The exposure to formaldehydes was associated at the higher risk of oli gozoospermy, of asthenozoospermy with a significant reduction in mobility (p = 0.05), whereas the talks with cement had a risk higher of teratozoospermy. In addition an exposure to heat was associated at the high risk of oligoteratozoospermy. The total rate of pregnancies after ICSI among 220 patients of our series was of 14.47%. The ICSI balance showed a reduction in total fertility rate (76.6% exposed vs 75.3% no exposed). Conclusion: In spite of the limited number of the patients, this study had shown a correlation between certain professional exposures of origin and the deterioration of sperm. Intrathoracic mesothelial cysts are congenital lesions due to an abnormal development of the pericardial coelom. They are generally unilocular and can develop in various sites. We describe a case of multicystic lesions in the anterior mediastinum of a 53-year-old woman discovered in a context of an encysted pleural effusion. Chest computed tomography (CT) scan revealed multiple cystic lesions in the anterior and posterior mediastinum. Surgery was carried out and histopathology and immunohistochemistry confirmed the diagnosis of multiple coelomic cysts of the mediastinum.

The importance of this study lies in the in-depth exploration of the ecological diversity of otoliths in elopes lacerta, based on the analysis of data from 260 individuals collected from various sites, including the Porto Novo lagoon, the Cotonou lagoon, Lake Nokou, and the Atlantic coast in southern benin. The results highlight significant variations in otolith morphology, establishing relevant links with the biological parameters of the fish at each site. Exploration of the asymmetry between the right and left sides reveals notable distinctions between these two aspects. Analysis of otolith shape thus emerges as a valuable tool for discriminating between stocks and providing a better understanding of ecological variations. The local diversity observed highlights the crucial importance of implementing adaptive management strategies to ensure effective conservation of the species and its habitat.

This study examined the right and left otoliths of 174 individuals of Pseudotolithus senegalensis from the Porto-Novo lagoon, Lake Nokoué and the Atlantic coast. The results show a significant variation in the population according to geographic location. Mixed-effects linear analysis showed no significant variation by site, side or sex (p > 0.05). Analysis of otolith shape using ANOVA showed significant differences for length, width and area (p 0.05). Canonical discriminant analysis revealed significant differences between sites (p hape analyses showed significant differences between sites (p = 0.0001) and between right and left sides (p = 0.007), but no difference by sex (p = 0.395). The study of otolith morphology is therefore proving to be a valuable tool for differentiating stocks and understanding ecological variations.

低温甲醇洗装置技术改造

采用航天炉粉煤加压气化技术对30万t/a甲醇生产厂气化工艺进行了改造,同时对低温甲醇洗装置也进行了同步改造。结果表明,低温甲醇洗装置改造后,氨冷却器冷量消耗减少了2 800 k W,氨冰机消耗的3.82 MPa蒸汽量降低约7.1 t/h,总电耗可降低388.9 k W;此外,节约0.5 MPa饱和蒸汽量为6.8 t/h,节约循环水量为80 t/h,CO2产品产量由5 500 m3/h提高到19 000 m3/h。装置改造投资总计约1 400.0万元,改造后每年可节约生产成本1 776.2万元,经济效益显著。
