Phospho-olivine pristine LiMnPO4/C and yttrium-substituted LiMn1-xYxPO4/C(x=0,0.01,0.03,0.05)were synthesized by a solution combustion *** effects of Y-doped on structure,morphology and electrochemical performances were *** powder X-ray diffraction pattern,all substituted materials adopt an identical structure to that of the LiMnPO4 olivine structure,suggesting that the yttrium ion was well inco rporated into the crystal lattice,without any changes in the host crystal *** electrochemical impedance spectroscopy provides clearly that yttrium-substituting reduces the charge transfer impedance and improves the lithium ion diffusion through the *** x=0.01,the material shows an excellent capacity and stability during charge/discharge *** initial specific discharge capacity can reach up to 156.84 mAh/g at C/20,with a coulombic efficiency of about 96.11%,which is 14%higher than that of the pristine *** results confirm that the cyclic stability and the electrochemical performances of LiMnPO4/C are highly improved by Y-doping.

Co(II) and Cr(III) metal complexes of Schiff bases were synthesized from the condensation reaction between 4-(dimethylamino)benzaldehyde and 4-amino-3-hydroxy-naphthalene-1-sulfonic acid. Their structures were investigated by elemental analysis, molar conductance measurements, infrared spectroscopy, electronic spectroscopy, and 1HNMR spectroscopy. The elemental analysis data suggested a 1:1 [M:L] ratio for the complexes. The molar conductance measurements of the complexes indicate their electrolytic nature in DMSO as a solvent. The absorption bands in the electronic spectra verified an octahedral environment around the metal ions in the complexes.

This article delves into the intricate relationship between big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, shedding light on their fundamental attributes and interdependence. It explores the seamless amalgamation of AI methodologies within cloud computing and big data analytics, encompassing the development of a cloud computing framework built on the robust foundation of the Hadoop platform, enriched by AI learning algorithms. Additionally, it examines the creation of a predictive model empowered by tailored artificial intelligence techniques. Rigorous simulations are conducted to extract valuable insights, facilitating method evaluation and performance assessment, all within the dynamic Hadoop environment, thereby reaffirming the precision of the proposed approach. The results and analysis section reveals compelling findings derived from comprehensive simulations within the Hadoop environment. These outcomes demonstrate the efficacy of the Sport AI Model (SAIM) framework in enhancing the accuracy of sports-related outcome predictions. Through meticulous mathematical analyses and performance assessments, integrating AI with big data emerges as a powerful tool for optimizing decision-making in sports. The discussion section extends the implications of these results, highlighting the potential for SAIM to revolutionize sports forecasting, strategic planning, and performance optimization for players and coaches. The combination of big data, cloud computing, and AI offers a promising avenue for future advancements in sports analytics. This research underscores the synergy between these technologies and paves the way for innovative approaches to sports-related decision-making and performance enhancement.

Bis(2-methoxybenzylidene)biphenyl-4,4'-diamine Schiff base was prepared by the reaction of benzidine and O-methoxy benzaldehyde 1:2 reaction. Two complexes of this ligand with Cr(III) and Fe(II) were prepared. All prepared compounds were analysed using elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and mass spectroscopy. The formation of proposed structures, including the free ligand and complexes were confirmed.

Primary Prostatic Tuberculosis: A Rare Entity

Objectives: To clarify the clinical, histological and therapeutic features of prostatic tuberculosis. Methods: We conducted a single-centre retrospective descriptive study of all patients presenting with prostatic tuberculosis between January 2002 and December 2020. Patients who were lost to follow-up, could not be reached by telephone or whose records were not usable were excluded from this study. Results: 240 patients were treated for urogenital tuberculosis, including 13 for isolated prostatic tuberculosis. The average age of the patients was 75 years. None of our patients had a history of tuberculosis. The average of international prostate symptom score (IPSS) was 27. Lower urinary tract symptoms in the filling phase were predominant. The digital rectal examination was suspicious in only one patient. The mean preoperative PSA was 9.24 ng/ml. 46.15% of patients underwent transurethral resection of the prostate and 53.85% underwent ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy. Histological examination showed epithelioid gigantocellular granuloma with isolated caseous necrosis in 61.53% of patients and associated adenomyomatous hyperplasia in 38.47% of patients. Antituberculosis treatment was given for 6 months. The average of follow up was 15 months. All patients reported an improvement in clinical signs with a mean post operative IPSS score of 17 and a normalisation of PSA levels. Conclusion: Isolated prostatic tuberculosis is a rare entity, it can simulate a cancer. In front of the symptoms of the lower urinary tract, the clinicians must think of it especially in the developing countries where tuberculosis still prevails in an endemic state.

Trabeculectomy with Ex-PRESS implant versus ahmed glaucoma valve implantation-a comparative study

AIM：To compare the surgical outcomes of trabeculectomy with Ex-PRESS implant and ahmed glaucoma valve（AGV） implantation. METHODS： Patients who underwent trabeculectomy with Ex-PRESS implants or AGV implantation separately were included in this retrospective chart *** outcome measures were surgical failure and *** was defined as intraocular pressure（IOP）〉21 mm Hg or 〈5 mm Hg on two consecutive visits after 3mo,reoperation for glaucoma,or loss of light *** that had not failed were considered as complete success if they did not required supplemental medical ***： A total of 64 eyes from 57 patients were included： 31 eyes in the Ex-PRESS group and 33 eyes in the AGV *** mean follow-up time was 2.6 ±1.1y and 3.3±1.6y,*** in the AGV group had significantly higher baseline mean IOP（P =0.005）,lower baseline mean visual acuity（VA）（P =0.02）,and higher proportion of patients with history of previous trabeculectomy（P 〈0.0001）.Crude failure rates were 16.1%,n =5/31 in the Ex-PRESS group and 24.2%,n =8/33 in the AGV *** cumulative proportion of failure was similar between the groups,P =*** proportion of eyes that experienced postoperative complications was32.3% in the Ex-PRESS group and 60.1% in the AGV group（P =0.0229）.CONCLUSION： Trabeculectomy with Ex-PRESS implant and AGV implantation had comparable failure *** AGV group had more post-operative complications,but also included more complex cases with higher baselinemean IOP,worse baseline mean VA,and more previous glaucoma ***,the results are limited to the cohort included in this study.

Effect of a normal protein diet on oxidative stress and organ damage in malnourished rats

BACKGROUND： We investigated the effects of three weeks of renutrition with a normal protein diet on oxidant/antioxidant status in malnourished rats using biochemistry and histology. METHODS： Eighteen young Wistar rats were divided into three groups： control group was fed on a normal protein diet; malnourished group was fed on low protein diet and renourished group was fed on low protein diet followed by a normal protein diet. Serum albumin was evaluated. Malondialdehyde, protein carbonyl, superoxide dismutase and catalase levels were determined in the intestine, muscle and liver. Intestinal and hepatic damage were assessed by histological examination. RESULTS： Protein malnutrition resulted in a significant decrease of body weight, albumin level, villus length, intraepithelial lymphocytes counts （IELC） and superoxide dismutase level （liver and muscle）. However, catalase activity increased significantly in muscle and gut but there was no difference in liver. In all organs, malondialdehyde and protein carbonyl content of malnourished group showed a significant increase. Interestingly, a normal protein diet for three weeks resulted in a return to normal levels of superoxide dismutase, albumin, malondialdehyde and protein carbonyl in all organs. Catalase activity decreased in the muscle and gut and exhibited no significant difference in the liver. The renutrition diet enhanced also the recovery of intestinal epithelium by increasing villus length. Hepatic damage of rats fed normal protein diet was markedly reduced （macrovesicular steatosis decreased by 45%）. CONCLUSION： The normal protein diet could improve the oxidant/antioxidant imbalance and organ damage induced by protein malnutrition.

The study of the tectono-sedimentary evolution of the lower Cretaceous series realized in the southern on the tethysian margin in the Tunisian central-Southerner Atlas, shows that the architecture of this field is governed by a NW-SE compressive phase. This latter has reactivated the old faults to give birth to associated, distensive and compressive structures at the same time simultaneously. It is about a network of combined strike slip fault EW dextral and sinistral NS which divided the cover into four zones of deformation corresponding to the right dihedron of the strike slip fault system. In the compressive dihedron, the deformation develops essentially several folds and in the distensive dihedron, normal faults which delimit horsts and grabens.

Background: Hypovitaminosis D is reported through the literature to be involved in autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS). In the last decade, numerous studies have investigated the association of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) with MS, including rs2248359 (CYP24A1) and rs703842 (CYP27B1) that are involved in vitamin D metabolic pathway. However, results were conflicting, probably due to ethnic differences between the studied populations. In this context, the present study aimed to analyze the association between these two SNPs and MS within the Moroccan population. Methods: rs2248359 and rs703842 were genotyped in 113 patients and 146 healthy controls. To assess their association with the disease risk, we compared the genotypic and allelic frequencies between the study groups. We also explored their possible influence on certain clinical features (age at onset, type, disability status and severity score) and with vitamin D3 serum level (DSL) by comparing mean values of these variables between the different genotypes. Results: No statistically significant differences in the distribution of both SNPs were found between patients and controls. A trend has emerged concerning the minor G allele of rs703842 which appears to have a protective effect on developing MS, but this result remained slightly below significance. Also, the two polymorphisms had no impact on the clinical features tested and the DSL. Conclusion: There is no convincing evidence that rs2248359 and rs703842 are associated with MS risk, its clinical features or vitamin D level in Moroccans. Further larger investigations are needed to confirm these findings.
