This study aims to investigate the behavior of alkali activated mortar,which is made of naturally available magnesium silicate as source *** magnesium silicate,ultrafine natural steatite powder(UFNSP)is used as the primary source of binder,and the activation is initiated through the alkali liquid which is proportioned in various combinations of silicate to hydroxide ratio(Na_(2)SiO_(3)/Na OH)ratio,and this ratio in this study varies from 1 to *** UFNSP is calcined at two difierent temperatures,700 and 1000℃.The mortar mix is proportioned as 1:3 between powder and the fine aggregate,and the mortar is prepared with hydroxide molarity(M)of 10 *** mortar is cured for 48 hours at 60℃and the compressive strength was *** the mix were studied for its microstructural behavior along with compressive *** mix proportion of the mortar,and the results obtained through microstructural characterization were combinedly formed as input for artificial neural network(ANN)predictive *** model is designed to predict the compressive strength,which is trained through Bayesian regularization algorithm with varying hidden neurons of 7 to *** experimental and predictive study shows that the strength is influenced by both Na_(2)SiO_(3)/Na OH ratio and calcination *** the ANN is influenced by mainly calcination temperature and uncorrelation occurs in selected samples of 1000℃calcined UFNSP mix.

In a recent report published in Cell,Clausen et al.1 reveal that heparan sulfate(HS)functions as a necessary cofactor for SARSCoV-2 binding to the ACE2 at the host cell *** analysis identified that HS interacts with the receptor-binding domain(RBD)at the SI subunit of the SARS-CoV-2 trimeric S-protein,which facilitates the opening of S-protein conformation for ACE2 binding.

Objective:To assess the effectiveness of a community-based educational intervention on necklace method as a natural family planning amongst reproductive age group *** approach helps women decide on their reproductive health choices and avoid ill health,impact and long-term consequences of unwanted pregnancy that lead to unsafe ***:A total of 120 women were selected using non-probability purposive sampling *** knowledge and practice of participants were assessed using the structured knowledge questionnaire and practice checklist followed by a community-based educational intervention to participants,which covered aspects such as meaning,purposes and criteria;steps of the procedure;and advantages and disadvantages of the necklace *** methods of teaching were lecture cum discussion and *** collected data were analysed using SPSS version ***:The levels of knowledge (t-14.571,P=0.023) and practice (t =14.571,P=0.026) significantly improved after administering the community-based educational *** and practice positively correlated with each other (P < 0.05).Conclusions:Nurses play a vital role in educating women and creating awareness regarding modern and safe family planning *** methods are effective and essential to avoid unwanted pregnancy and thus greatly impact the health of women.

BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a frequent cause of cancer related death *** to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and albumin bilirubin(ALBI)grade are emerging prognostic indicators in *** To study published literature of NLR and ALBI over the last five years,and to validate NLR and ALBI locally in our centre as indicators of HCC *** A systematic review of the published literature on PubMed of NLR and ALBI in HCC over the last five *** search followed the guidelines of the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and ***,we also investigated HCC cases between December 2013 and December 2018 in our *** There were 54 studies describing the relation between HCC and NLR and 95 studies describing the relation between HCC and ALBI grade over the last five *** local cohort of patients showed NLR to have a significant negative relationship to survival(P=0.011).There was also significant inverse relationship between the size of the largest HCC nodule and survival(P=0.009).Median survival with alpha fetoprotein(AFP)10 KU/L was 5 *** found that AFP was inversely related to survival,this relationship was not statically significant(P=0.132).Mean survival for ALBI grade 1 was 37.7 mo,ALBI grade 2 was 13.4 months and ALBI grade 3 was *** grades performed better than Child Turcotte Pugh score in detecting death from *** NLR and ALBI grade in HCC predict survival better than the conventional alpha *** grade performs better than Child Turcotte Pugh *** markers are done as part of routine clinical care and in cases of normal alpha fetoprotein,these markers could give a better understanding of the patient disease *** and ALBI grade could have a role in modified easier to learn staging and prognostic systems for HCC.

An incompressible three-dimensional laminar flow in a cross flow direction is described in this work. The term of melting and viscous dissipation is incorporated in the mathematical modeling of present flow problem. The flow expressions are converted into dimensionless equations, which are solved with help of Runge-Kutta scheme. Impact of the emerging parameters on the non-dimensional velocities and temperature and friction-factors and local Nusselt number are examined. The convergence analysis is found for ε < 0 and 0 < ε≤ 2. Comparative analysis is made between the obtained results and published data for limiting case. It is explored at the surface that the melting parameter retards the liquid temperature while it enhances the fluid velocity.

Prostate cancer(PCa)accounted for over 300000 deaths world-wide in *** of the PCa deaths occurred due to the aggressive castration-resistant PCa(CRPC).Since the androgen receptor(AR)and its ligands contribute to the continued growth of androgendependent PCa(ADPCa)and CRPC,AR has become a well-characterized and pivotal *** AR signaling was identified as therapeutic-target in PCa over five-decades ago,there remains several practical issues such as lack of antagonist-bound AR crystal structure,stabilization of the AR in the presence of agonists due to N-terminus and C-terminus interaction,unfavorable large-molecule accommodation of the ligand-binding domain(LBD),and generation of AR splice variants that lack the LBD that impede the discovery of highly potent fail-safe *** review summarizes the AR-signaling pathway targeted therapeutics currently used in PCa and the approaches that could be used in future ARtargeted drug development of potent next-generation *** review also outlines the discovery of molecules that bind to domains other than the LBD and those that inhibit both the full length and splice variant of ARs.

Spatial distribution, abundance and assemblage of termites depend mainly on the local conditions and habitats in which they thrive. Striking differences are observed in the species richness, number of clades and functional diversity of termite assemblage between different habitats. This study aim was to examine effect of human interference in the diversity of wood destroying termite in forest areas as well as managed and unmanaged plantations in South India. Termites attacking trees and wooden logs were collected from forest areas, managed plantations and unmanaged plantations. The termites collected were identified and compared for species abundance, richness and species diversity. Results show that the species composition and species diversity of the wood destroying termites vary according to the conditions. The species diversity measures revealed that there is a significance variation among the forest fauna and plantations. The forest areas have the highest species composition compared to plantations. Species richness is high forest areas. Even though the abundance of termites are more in unmanaged plantations, there is no significant difference related to species diversity among the managed and unmanaged plantations.
