Background:Sepsis is one of the most serious complications and a leading cause of death in patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).In general,it is the result of an unregulated inflammatory cascade such as a postinfection"cytokine storm."The conventional treatment mainly relies on glucocorticoids,of which curative effects are not ideal,as they come with significant side *** is critical to seek or develop other effective therapeutics in dealing cytokine storm to fight COVID-19 with *** and Objectives:Raise awareness of the significance applying anti-inflammatory acupuncture in dealing COVID-19 patients with sepsis and provide an appropriate acupuncture protocol that can be easily integrated into existing medical *** and Methods:Current evidences from animal experiments and clinical trials about acupuncture in treating infectious sepsis are reviewed,and a detailed discussion on advantages of anti-inflammatory acupuncture is followed,then the rationality on the point selection and stimulation parameters of acupuncture is analyzed to propose an appropriate acupuncture ***:Current experiments have shown that acupuncture can play a significant role to improve inflammation reaction and reduce mortality in infectious animal and patients with sepsis and its mechanisms are mainly achieved by stimulating the vagus-cholinergic anti-inflammatory *** acupuncture in treating COVID-19 patients with sepsis has four aspects of ***,a simple and convenient clinical acupuncture protocol including point selection and appropriate stimulation parameters is ***:Acupuncture,especially electroacupuncture,has shown potentials in effectively treating infectious sepsis of animal models and critically ill patients in small sample studies by stimulating the nervous system,but has been largely overlooked in the clinic so *** is advised that acupuncture should be integrated into the existing medical

Cell competition is an adaptive surveillance mechanism to ensure the robustness of developmental outputs,maintain tissue integrity,and regulate tumor progression in multicellular organisms,which is highly conserved from invertebrates to vertebrates[1].At the cellular level,cell competition represents a non-cell-autonomous process in that cells can sense the fitness of their neighbors through cellular interactions,thereby eliminating low-fitness cells and expanding high-fitness counterparts,however,cells develop normally in homogenous populations.

Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)has aggressive characteristics as exemplified by the high risk of recurrence,metastasis,and patient mortality.1 Cytotoxic chemotherapy may reduce tumor burden initially,but leave behind chemo-resistant breast cancer stem cells(BCSCs)that lead to tumor recurrence and metastasis.2 Chemotherapy induces BCsC enrichment through the activation of glutathione biosynthesis pathways,which increases intracellular glutathione levels and specifies the BCSC phenotype through complicated downstream signaling pathways.3 Glutathione S-transferases(GSTs),a superfamily(which contains seven cytosolic classes:Alpha,Kappa,Mu,Omega,Pi,Theta,and Zeta,and one microsomal class MGSTs)of phase Il enzymes that catalyze the conjugation of glutathione with electrophilic compounds,play a critical role in detoxification and chemotherapy resistance of cancer ***,the role of GSTs in the regulation of BCSCs is largely elusive.

The effects of the water-cement ratio and the molding temperature on the hydration heat of cement were investigated with semi-adiabatic *** specimens were prepared with water-cement ratios of 0.31,0.38,and 0.45,and the molding temperature was specified at 10 and 20℃.The experimental results show that,as the water-binder ratio increases,the value of the second temperature peak on the temperature curve of the cement paste decreases,and the age at which the peak appears is *** higher the water-cement ratio,the higher the hydration heat release in the early period of cement hydration,but this trend reverses in the late *** are intersection points of the total hydration heat curve of the cement pastes under the influence of the water-cement ratio,and this law can be observed at both molding *** the increase in the molding temperature,the age of the second temperature peak on the temperature curve of the cement paste will advance,but the temperature peak will *** higher the molding temperature,the earlier the acceleration period of the cement hydration began,and the larger the hydration heat of the cement in the early stage,but the smaller the total heat in the late period.A subsection function calculation model of the hydration heat,which was based on the existing models,was proposed in order to predict the heat of the hydration of the concrete.

Effective thermal conductivity and thermal tortuosity are crucial parameters for evaluating the effectiveness of heat conduction within porous *** direct pore-scale numerical simulation method is applied to investigate the heat conduction processes inside porous structures with different *** thermal conduction performances of idealized porous structures are directly compared with real foams across a wide range of *** foam structures are reconstructed using X-ray computed tomography and image processing techniques,while Kelvin and Weaire-Phelan structures are generated through periodic unit cell *** detailed temperature fields inside the porous structures are determined by solving the heat conduction equation at the pore *** results present that the equivalent thermal conductivity of Kelvin and Weaire-Phelan structures is similar to and greater than that of the real foam structure with the same strut *** thermal tortuosity of real foam structure is relatively larger and the heat conduction path becomes straighter by adopting the anisotropic *** thermal tortuosity of the fluid channels for Kelvin,Weaire-Phelan,and real foam structures is close to *** thermal conductivity of porous structures with heat transfer fluid increases as the thermal conductivity ratio of fluid to solid becomes larger.A small porosity of porous media leads to a larger equivalent thermal conductivity due to the dominant contribution of porous skeleton in the heat conduction *** derived from parallel and series models,as well as the Maxwell-Eucken models,provide decent predictions of effective thermal conductivity,with an average error of less than 8%in the entire range of thermal conductivity ratio.

To investigate the mechanism of rockburst prevention by spraying water onto the surrounding rocks,15 experiments are performed considering different water absorption levels on a single ***-speed photography and acoustic emission(AE)system are used to monitor the rockburst *** effect of water on sandstone rockburst and the prevention mechanism of water on sandstone rockburst are analyzed from the perspective of energy and failure *** results show that the higher the ab-sorption degree,the lower the intensity of the rockburst after absorbing water on single side of *** is reflected in the fact that with the increase in the water absorption level,the ejection velocity of rockburst fragments is smaller,the depth of the rockburst pit is shallower,and the AE energy is *** the water absorption level of 100%,the magnitude of rockburst intensity changes from medium to *** prevention mechanism of water on sandstone rockburst is that water reduces the capacity of sandstone to store strain energy and accelerates the expansion of shear cracks,which is not conducive to the occurrence of plate cracking before rockburst,and destroys the conditions for rockburst incubation.

The high-temperature oxidation behavior of novel Co-Cr-Nb-W carbide-strengthened wear-resistance alloys with different Al contents（1wt%, 2wt% and 3wt%）at 950, 1000 and 1050 °C was thoroughly investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and field emission electron probe analyzer. The porous property of Nb C in-situ oxidation products（Nb2O5, Co Nb2O6and Co4Nb2O9） induces a multi-layered oxide scale with micropores and ***-Cr-Nb-W alloy with 1 wt% Al undergoes catastrophic oxidation and spalling above 1000 °C. The outward transportation of Cr and Co is effectively restrained by a continuous Al2O3scale formed around Nb C in-situ oxidation region when Al content reaches 3 wt%. The β-Co Al in Co-Cr-Nb-W alloy with 3 wt% Al has an oxidation priority over eutectic carbides and the alloy matrix which are both enriched with Cr, thereby preventing the formation of Cr-depletion area and improving the self-healing ability of the oxide film. A slight change in Al content has a remarkable influence on the cooperative effect of Al and Cr and multiplies the antioxidant capacity of Co-Cr-Nb-W alloy above 1000 °C.

The cooperative output regulation problem has been studied by two approaches:the distributed observer(DO)approach and the distributed internal model(DIM)approach,*** of these two approaches has its own merits and ***,we presented an overview on the cooperative output regulation problem by the DO *** paper further surveys the cooperative output regulation problem by the DIM *** first summarize the constructions and the roles of two different versions of the internal models:the distributed p-copy internal model and the distributed canonical internal ***,we describe an integrated framework that combines the DO approach and the DIM *** and variants of the DIM and their applications will also be highlighted.
