Remote controlled soft actuators have attracted ever-increasing interest in industrial,medical,robotics,and engineering fields.Soft actuators are charming than normal tools in executing dedicate tasks due to small volume and flexible body they have.However,it remains a challenge to design soft actuator that can adapt to multi-environments under remote stimuli with promising nano materials.Herein,we have developed a kind of near-infrared laser driven soft actuators with multi locomotive modes based on WSe2 and graphene nanosheets heterojunction.Different locomotion modes are driven by photothermal effect induced deformation to adapt to different working conditions.Moreover,the specially designed gripper driven by pulsed laser can lift a heavy load which is four times of its weight.This work broadens the choice of advanced nanomaterials for photothermal conversion of soft actuators.It is promising to realize applications including photothermal therapy and complex environment detection through the combination of the intelligent robot design and optical fiber system.

The electrocatalytic reduction of CO_(2) presents a promising strategy in addressing environmental and energy crisis.Significant progress has been achieved via CO_(2) gas diffusion electrolysis,to react at high selectivity and high rate.However,the gas diffusion layer(GDL)of the gas diffusion electrode(GDE)still suffers from low tolerance and limited active sites.Here,the hydrophobic 1-octadecanethiol molecular was functionalized over the Cu catalyst layer of the GDE,which simultaneously stabilizes the GDL and exposes abundant active solid-liquid-gas three-phase interfaces.The resultant GDE exhibits multi-carbon(C_(2+))product selectivity over faradaic efficiency(FE)of 70.0%in the range of 100 to 800 mA·cm^(-2),with the peak FE^(c2+)of 85.2%at 800 mA·cm^(-2).Notably,the strengthened GDE could continuously drive high-current electrolysis for more than 100 h without flooding.This work opens a new way to improve CO_(2) gas diffusion electrolysis via surface molecular engineering.

Integrated photonics is attracting considerable attention and has found many applications in both classical and quantum optics,fulfilling the requirements for the ever-growing complexity in modern optical experiments and big data communication.Femtosecond(fs)laser direct writing(FLDW)is an acknowledged technique for producing waveguides(WGs)in transparent glass that have been used to construct complex integrated photonic devices.FLDW possesses unique features,such as three-dimensional fabrication geometry,rapid prototyping,and single step fabrication,which are important for integrated communication devices and quantum photonic and astrophotonic technologies.To fully take advantage of FLDW,considerable efforts have been made to produce WGs over a large depth with low propagation loss,coupling loss,bend loss,and highly symmetrical mode field.We summarize the improved techniques as well as the mechanisms for writing high-performance WGs with controllable morphology of cross-section,highly symmetrical mode field,low loss,and high processing uniformity and efficiency,and discuss the recent progress of WGs in photonic integrated devices for communication,topological physics,quantum information processing,and astrophotonics.Prospective challenges and future research directions in this field are also pointed out.

Realizing general processing applicable to various materials by one basic tool has long been considered a distant dream.Fortunately,ultrafast laser-matter interaction has emerged as a highly universal platform with unprecedented optical phenomena and provided implementation paths for advanced manufacturing with novel functionalities.Here,we report the establishment of a three-dimensional(3D)focal-area interference field actively induced by a single ultrafast laser in transparent dielectrics.Relying on this,we demonstrate a radically new approach of self-organized phase-transition lithography(SOPTL)to achieve super-resolution construction of embedded all-inorganic photonic textures with extremely high efficiency.The generated textures exhibit a tunable photonic bandgap(PBG)in a wide range from〜1.3 to〜2 pm.More complicated interlaced textures with adjustable structural features can be fabricated within a few seconds,which is not attainable with any other conventional techniques.Evidenee suggests that the SOPTL is extendable to more than one material system.This study augments light-matter interaction physics,offers a promising approach for constructing robust photonic devices,and opens up a new research direction in advaneed lithography.

Background:Trastuzumab is a first-line targeted therapy for human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)-positive gastric cancer.However,the inevitable occurrence of acquired trastuzumab resistance limits the drug benefit,and there is currently no effective reversal measure.Existing researches on the mechanism of trastuzumab resistance mainly focused on tumor cells themselves,while the understanding of the mechanisms of environment-mediated drug resistance is relatively lacking.This study aimed to further explore the mechanisms of trastuzumab resistance to identify strategies to promote survival in these patients.Methods:Trastuzumab-sensitive and trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive tumor tissues and cells were collected for transcriptome sequencing.Bioinformatics were used to analyze cell subtypes,metabolic pathways,and molecular signaling pathways.Changes in microenvironmental indicators(such as macrophage,angiogenesis,and metabolism)were verified by immunofluorescence(IF)and immunohistochemical(IHC)analyses.Finally,a multi-scale agent-based model(ABM)was constructed.The effects of combination treatment were further validated in nude mice to verify these effects predicted by the ABM.Results:Based on transcriptome sequencing,molecular biology,and in vivo experiments,we found that the level of glutamine metabolism in trastuzumabresistant HER2-positive cells was increased,and glutaminase 1(GLS1)was significantly overexpressed.Meanwhile,tumor-derived GLS1 microvesicles drove M2macrophage polarization.Furthermore,angiogenesis promoted trastuzumab resistance.IHC showed high glutamine metabolism,M2 macrophage polarization,and angiogenesis in trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive tumor tissues from patients and nudemice.Mechanistically,the cell division cycle 42(CDC42)promoted GLS1 expression in tumor cells by activating nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)p65 and drove GLS1microvesicle secretion through IQmotif-containing GTPase-activating protein 1(IQGAP1).Based on the ABM and in vivo experiments,we confirmed that the combin

This paper investigates the stability of the Francis hydro-turbine governing system with complex penstocks in the grid-connected mode. Firstly, a novel fractional-order nonlinear mathematical model of a Francis hydro-turbine governing system with complex penstocks is built from an engineering application perspective. This model is described by state-space equations and is composed of the Francis hydro-turbine model, the fractional-order complex penstocks model, the third-order generator model, and the hydraulic speed governing system model. Based on stability theory for a fractional-order nonlinear system, this study discovers a basic law of the bifurcation points of the above system with a change in the fractional-order a. Secondly, the stable region of the governing system is investigated in detail,and nonlinear dynamical behaviors of the system are identified and studied exhaustively via bifurcation diagrams, time waveforms, phase orbits, Poincare maps, power spectrums and spectrograms. Results of these numerical experiments provide a theoretical reference for further studies of the stability of hydropower stations.

混流式水电机组变水头宽负荷一次调频性能,是构建灵活电力平衡体系、保证频率稳定的重要内核。在水电站稳定性试验前提下,本文提出以一次调频电气特性为基准的运行区分级划分方法。该方法以调节时间、稳定时间和积分电量合格与否为分级划分基准,利用区域面积、区域中心和区域综合性能进行系统评价。以西北地区调频电厂拉西瓦水电站为例,通过与实验数据对比验证数学模型。在确认计算准确性基础上,以调频性能为优化目标,探究管径、转动惯量、积分增益等水机电参数对运行区分级划分的影响规律。最后,总结水机电参数对调频性能与运行区的贡献度占比,指出混流式水电机组变水头宽负荷一次调频运行优化的方向。

Colorectal cancer(CRC) is the second most common cause of cancer-related death in the world. The pro-viral integration site for Moloney murine leukemia virus 1(PIM1) is a proto-oncogene and belongs to the serine/threonine kinase family, which are involved in cell proliferation, migration,and apoptosis. Fibroblast growth factor receptor 1(FGFR1) is a tyrosine kinase that has been implicated in cell proliferation, differentiation and migration. Small molecule HCI-48 is a derivative of chalcone, a class of compounds known to possess anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. However,the underlying mechanism of chalcones against colorectal cancer remains unclear. This study reports that HCI-48 mainly targets PIM1 and FGFR1 kinases, thereby eliciting antitumor effects on colorectal cancer growth in vitro and in vivo. HCI-48 inhibited the activity of both PIM1 and FGFR1 kinases in an ATPdependent manner, as revealed by computational docking models. Cell-based assays showed that HCI-48inhibited cell proliferation in CRC cells(HCT-15, DLD1, HCT-116 and SW620), and induced cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase through modulation of cyclin A2. HCI-48 also induced cellular apoptosis, as evidenced by an increase in the expression of apoptosis biomarkers such as cleaved PARP, cleaved caspase 3 and cleaved caspase 7. Moreover, HCI-48 attenuated the activation of downstream components of the PIM1 and FGFR1 signaling pathways. Using patient-derived xenograft(PDX) murine tumor models,we found that treatment with HCI-48 diminished the PDX tumor growth of implanted CRC tissue expressing high protein levels of PIM1 and FGFR1. This study suggests that the inhibitory effect of HCI-48 on colorectal tumor growth is mainly mediated through the dual-targeting of PIM1 and FGFR1kinases. This work provides a theoretical basis for the future application of HCI-48 in the treatment of clinical CRC.
