Intelligent solubility estimation of gaseous hydrocarbons in ionic liquids

The research focuses on evaluating how well new solvents attract light hydrocarbons, such as propane,methane, and ethane, in natural gas sweetening units. It is important to accurately determine the solubility of hydrocarbons in these solvents to effectively manage the sweetening process. To address this challenge, the study proposes using advanced empirical models based on artificial intelligence techniques like multi-Layer Artificial Neural Network(mL-ANN), Support Vector machines(SVm), and Least Square Support Vector machine(LSSVm). The parameters for the SVm and LSSVm models are estimated using optimization methods like Genetic Algorithm(GA), Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO), and Shuffled Complex Evolution(SCE). Data on the solubility of propane, methane, and ethane in various ionic liquids are collected from reliable literature sources to create a comprehensive database. The proposed artificial intelligence models show great accuracy in predicting hydrocarbon solubility in ionic liquids. Among these, the hybrid SVm models perform exceptionally well, with the PSO-SVm hybrid model being particularly efficient computationally. To ensure a comprehensive analysis, different examples of hydrocarbons and their order are included. Additionally, a comparative analysis is conducted to compare the AI models with the thermodynamic COSmO-RS model for solubility analysis. The results demonstrate the superiority of the AI models, as they outperform traditional thermodynamic models across a wide range of data. In conclusion, this study introduces advanced artificial intelligence algorithms such as mL-ANN, SVm, and LSSVm in accurately estimating the solubility of hydrocarbons in ionic liquids. The incorporation of optimization techniques and variations in hydrocarbon examples improves the accuracy, precision, and reliability of these intelligent models. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a common endocrine disorder with metabolic and reproductive consequences, affects a significant percentage of women of reproductive age. Because of its complexity and impact on the quality of life, PCOS requires timely diagnosis and screening for complications. The most common clinical manifestations of PCOS are hirsutism, hyperandrogenism, acne, irregular cycles, amenorrhea, and anovulation. Although PCOS has different clinical manifestations in women, hyperandrogenism, and anovulation are the most common symptoms. A good medical history, examination, blood tests, and ultrasound findings facilitate the diagnosis of PCOS. Novel treatments have also undergone clinical trials to improve the symptoms of PCOS. However, comprehensive review articles investigating the different communities of this disease are limited, and this review aimed to collect data on the different etiologies of PCOS along with the latest diagnostic methods and the most common and up-to-date treatments for this disease.

Geometric investigation of entrance proportions of houses from the Qajar to the beginning of the early Pahlavi in Dezful City(1789—1979)

Due to the importance of the historical context of Dezful City,investigating historic buildings is *** unfortunately,a large part of it is being *** this reason,it is essential to discover the guidelines and logic behind the architectural design of these buildings to help their reconstruction or ***,there is no logical information about the components of this context and the reconstructions are usually done according to taste and based on architecture tested or personal ***,it is necessary to find a logic behind these critical components that support the whole plan or parts of it in a particular *** purpose of this research is to discover and find the logic behind the design of this building in the historical context of *** geometrical proportions can significantly help to reconstruct buildings better and more *** this purpose,30 historical houses of Dezful were randomly selected,and their input information was drawn in 2D form in ***,the length,width,and height proportions were measured,and the obtained ratios were compared with the golden proportions and dynamic *** paper studies entrance based on ratios of√2,√3,√4,√4,√1.25 andφ(the golden section).The results show that golden proportions and proportions derived from dynamic rectangles are present in the wording of all ***,the range of ratios in the plan is from 1.34 to 2,and the content of changes in the section is from 1.22 to *** results can help architects,and particularly building owners,to reconstruct based on existing logic by discovering the proportions of the entrances of the *** is possible to administer a part of the damaged tissue and estimate its dimensions and sizes because the proportions’completeness can help revive half-destroyed historical buildings.

Objective:To investigate the effect of isoimperatorin on histopathological and biochemical changes in acetic acid-induced colitis ***:Colitis was induced by intracolonic administration of acetic acid solution(4%v/v)in *** were divided into six groups including the sham group,the negative control group,the dexamethasone-treated group,and the groups treated with isoimperatorin(0.1,1,and 10 mg/kg/d by gavage).The treatments were administered for three days and then colonic status was assessed by macroscopic,histopathological,and biochemical ***:Isoimperatorin significantly alleviated colonic damage in a dose-dependent manner and improved histological changes in rats with acetic acid-induced *** also significantly reduced myeloperoxidase,TNF-α,IL-1β,and malodialdehyde ***:Isoimperatorin alleviates acetic acid-induced colitis in rats and may be a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of colitis.

Density functional theory calculations together with ab initio molecular dynamics(AImD)simulations have been used to study the solvation,diffusion and transformation of Li^(+)and LiO_(2)upon O_(2)reduction in three organic *** processes are critical for the performance of Li-air *** from studying the structure of the solvation shells in detail,AImD simulations have been used to derive the diffusivity and together with the Blue moon ensemble approach to explore LiO_(2)formation from Li^(+)and O_(2)−and the subsequent disproportionation of 2LiO_(2)into Li_(2)O_(2)+O_(2).By comparing the results of the simulations to gas phase calculations,the impact of electrolytes on these reactions is assessed which turns out to be more pronounced for the ionic species involved in these reactions.

Characterization of B site codoped LaFeO_3 nanoparticles prepared via co-precipitation route

LaFe（1-x-y）CoxPdyO3 [（x, y） =（0, 0）,（0.40, 0）,（0.38, 0.05）] nanoparticles were synthesized via a co-precipitation route using ammonium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide and ammonium carbonate as the precipitant and calcination at different temperatures to study the compositional driven structural changes in lanthanum *** of X-ray diffraction（XRD） patterns confirms the formation of single-phase perovskite structure and existence of orthorhombic Pnma symmetry for calcined powders. Field emission scanning electron microscope（FESEm） observations show that Pd-doped powders yield finer particles along with narrower particle size distribution compared with LaFeO3 and LaFe（0.6）Co（0.4）O3. moreover,using ammonia as the precipitant leads to a smaller mean particle size of powders compared to NaOH, as well as significant difference in morphology of the *** analysis reveals that both Co and Pd atoms substitute Fe site in perovskite structure with shifting of phonon modes. Comparing Raman spectra demonstrates the presence of more oxygen vacancies in Pd-doped perovskites. It can be concluded from the results that Pd is successfully incorporated into the perovskite structure by co-precipitation method.

Prevalence of asthma symptoms in Golestan schoolchildren aged 6-7 and 13-14 years in Northeast Iran

Asthma is the most common chronic disease among children, and its incidences are often imminent among elementary schoolchildren. This study aimed to examine the prevalence of asthma symptoms in Golestan schoolchildren aged 6-7 and 13-14 years in Northeast Iran. The prevalence rate was compared according to age group （aged 6-7 years vs. aged 13-14 years） and gender （male vs. female）. In this cross-sectional study, 1706 Iranian schoolchildren aged 6-7 and 13-14 years in Golestan Province were enrolled. Participants completed questionnaires between February and July 2014. Asthma symptoms were assessed using the questionnaire of the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood protocol in Persian. The logistic regression model was used to estimate the odds ratios （ORs） and 95% confidence intervals （CIs） of the asthma symptoms for each of the gender and age groups. The prevalence rates of ＂current asthma＂ symptoms and ＂asthma ever＂ in all the children were estimated as 9.5%and 7.5%, respectively. The prevalence of asthma （＂asthma ever＂ and ＂wheezing in the past 12 months＂） in junior high schoolchildren （aged 13-14 years） is higher than that in elementary schoolchildren （aged 6-7 years）（P 〈 0.05）. The prevalence of the severity of wheezing in girls is lower than that in boys （OR = 1.7, 95%CI = 1.06-2.96, P = 0.02）. Asthma is still a major public health problem. This study shows that the prevalence of the asthma symptoms in boys is lower than that in girls in both age groups, and the severity of asthma in girls is higher than that in boys aged 13-14 years.

Survival data with amulti-state structure are frequently observed in follow-up *** analytic approach based on a multi-state model(mSm)should be used in longitudinal health studies in which a patient experiences a sequence of clinical progression *** main objective in the mSm framework is variable selection,where attempts are made to identify the risk factors associated with the transition hazard rates or probabilities of disease *** usual variable selection methods,including stepwise and penalized methods,do not provide information about the importance of *** this context,we present a two-step algorithm to evaluate the importance of variables formulti-state *** differentmachine learning approaches(randomforest,gradient boosting,and neural network)as themost widely usedmethods are considered to estimate the variable importance in order to identify the factors affecting disease progression and rank these factors according to their *** performance of our proposed methods is validated by simulation and applied to the COVID-19 data *** results revealed that the proposed two-stage method has promising performance for estimating variable importance.
