A novel heterometallic complex constructed by imidazole ligand,CoZn(C3N2H3)4(1),has been synthesized under hydrothermal *** 1 was characterized by IR spectra,thermal analysis,powder X-ray diffraction and single-crystal X-ray ***-crystal X-ray diffraction studies reveals that compound 1 is in the tetragonal system,space group I41cd with a=23.4371(5),b=23.4371(5),c=12.4430(7)?,V=6834.9(4)?3,Z=16,C12H12CoN8Zn,Mr=392.60,Dc=1.526 g/cm^3,F(000)=3152,μ=2.381 mm–1,R=0.0323 and w R=*** CoZn(C3N2H3)4 is one-dimensional heterometallic molecular chains,which are further extended into a 3D open ***,the solid-state fluorescence property of the complex has also been investigated at room temperature.

We present a theoretical study of the medium modifications of the p_(T)balance (x_(j)) of dijets in Xe+Xe collisions at■.The initial production of dijets was carried out using the POWHEG+PYTHIA8 prescription,which matches the next-toleading-order (NLO) QCD matrix elements with the parton shower (PS) *** SHELL model described the in-medium evolution of nucleus–nucleus collisions using a transport *** theoretical results of the dijet xjin the Xe+Xe collisions exhibit more imbalanced distributions than those in the p+p collisions,consistent with recently reported ATLAS *** utilizing the Interleaved Flavor Neutralisation,an infrared-and-collinear-safe jet flavor algorithm,to identify the flavor of the reconstructed jets,we classify dijets processes into three categories:gluon–gluon (gg),quark–gluon (qg),and quark–quark (qq),and investigated the respective medium modification patterns and fraction changes of the gg,qg,and qq components of the dijet sample in Xe+Xe *** is shown that the increased fraction of qg component at a small x_(j)contributes to the imbalance of the dijet;in particular,the q_(1)g_(2)(quark-jet-leading) dijets experience more significant asymmetric energy loss than the g_(1)q_(2)(gluon-jet-leading) dijets traversing the *** comparing the■of inclusive,■ dijets in Xe+Xe collisions,we observe■.Moreover,ρ_(Xe),P_(b),the ratios of the nuclear modification factors of dijets in Xe+Xe to those in Pb+Pb,were calculated,which indicates that the yield suppression of dijets in Pb+Pb is more pronounced than that in Xe+Xe owing to the larger radius of the lead nucleus.

AIM To compare(1) quality of life and(2) rate of recurrent small bowel obstructions(SbO) for patients treated with novel manual physiotherapy vs no treatment. METHODS One hundred and three subjects(age 19-89) with a history of recurrent adhesive SbO were treated with a manual physiotherapy called the Clear Passage Approach(CPA) which focused on decreasing adhesive crosslinking in abdominopelvic viscera. Pre-and post-therapy data measured recurring obstructions and quality of life, using a validated test sent 90 d after therapy. Results were compared to 136 untreated control subjects who underwent the same measurements for subjects who did not receive any therapy, which is the normal course for patients with recurring SbO. Comparison of the groups allowed us to assess changes when the physiotherapy was added as an adjunct treatment for patients with recurring *** Despite histories of more prior hospitalizations, obstructions, surgeries, and years impacted by bowel issues, the 103 CPA-treated subjects reported a significantly lower rate of repeat SbO than 136 untreated controls(total obstructions P = 0.0003; partial obstructions P = 0.0076). Subjects treated with the therapy demonstrated significant improvements in five of six total domains in the validated Small bowel Obstruction Questionnaire(SbO-Q). Domains of diet, pain, gastrointestinal symptoms, quality of life(QOL) and pain severity when compared to post CPA treatment were significantly improved(P bO with significantly lower recurrence rate, improvement in reported symptoms and overall quality of life of subjects.

The increasing number of fossil pterosaur eggs sheds light on nesting environments and breeding be- haviors of these extinct flying reptiles. Here we report the first partial three-dimensional egg of the pterosaur, Pteroduustro guinazui, from central Argentina. The specimen was discovered from the same Albian deposits as the exceptional R guinazui embryo described in 2004. Microscopic characterizations indicate a pristine preservation of the 50 bm thick calcium carbonate, which differs significantly from the soft shell of Chinese pterosaur eggs. Estimate of the eggshell conductance implies that the nest had a minimum moisture content of 75%. This moisture estimate, combined with geological and taphonomical data, suggests that P. guinazui may have adopted a nesting strategy similar to those of grebes and flamingos rather than being buried on land, as previously hypothesized. Moreover, our results demon- strate that the nesting paleoenvironment of this pterosaur species was closely linked to a mesohaline lacustrine ecosystem in a basin governed by regional tectonic subsidence, a setting characteristic for the feeding and reproduction of modern flamingos.

Two polyoxometalate-based host-guest compounds,(HL1)2(HPW12O40)〜11H2O(1),(HL2)3(PWi2O40)·3H2O(2)(L_(1)=guanine,L_(2)=2-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)pyridine),were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by EA,PXRD,TG,FT-IR and X-ray single-crystal *** 1 crystallizes in trigonal space group P-3 with a=18.2917(5),b=18.2917(5),c=13.5441(5)A,V=3924.5(3)A^(3),Z=3,Mr=3383.26 g/mol,pcak=4.036 g/cm^(3),F(000)=4137,=48.532 mm^(-1),GOOF=1.062,the final R=0.0713 and wR=0.1865 for 9037 observed reflections with I>2σ(I).Compound 2 crystallizes in trigonal space group R-3 with a=19.0017(6),b=19.0017(6),c=25.6361(9)A,V=8016.2(6)A^(3),Z=6,Mr=3372.45 g/mol,p_(calc)=4.188 g/cm,F(000)=8886,μ=47.644 mm^(-1),GOOF=1.077,the final R=0.0380 and wR=0.0976 for 5904 observed reflections with I>2σ(I).These two compounds can catalyze selective oxidation of aniline with H2O2 as the *** optimal conditions,the conversion of aniline with compound 1 can reach up to 91.25%,and the selectivity of nitrosobenzene is 78.81%.

The aim of this study is to simulate the flow of emulsion (immiscible liquids) which is a complex phenomenon in the petroleum industry. In this study, three types of emulsions (O/W) were simulated usingby CFD which has been applied to predict the interaction behavior of oil with water for differentemulsions (25%Oe75%W, 50%Oe50%W and 75%Oe25%W). Numerical modeling illustrated that the obtained results of the velocity profiles were very good agreement with the experimental data for threetype of emulsions. In addition, the analytical model of interaction analysis and identification of boundaryseparation for two-phase flow approve with the experimental data available, despite the emulsionsremain to be more difficulty due to the complex chemical reactions. The results of this study can providethe best solutions for corrosion during hydrocarbons transportation. Thus, CFD approach is recommended to use for numerical investigates due to the high accuracy.

The Dicistroviridae is a virus family that includes many insect *** viruses contain a positive-sense RNA genome that is replicated by the virally encoded RNA-dependent RNA polymerase(RdRP)also named 3D^(pol).Compared with the Picornaviridae RdRPs such as poliovirus(PV)3D^(pol),the Dicistroviridae representative Israeli acute paralysis virus(IAPV)3D^(pol) has an additional N-terminal extension(NE)region that is about 40-residue in *** date,both the structure and catalytic mechanism of the Dicistroviridae RdRP have remain *** we reported crystal structures of two truncated forms of IAPV 3D^(pol),namelyΔ85 andΔ40,both missing the NE region,and the 3D^(pol) protein in these structures exhibited three conformational *** palm and thumb domains of these IAPV 3D^(pol) structures are largely consistent with those of the PV 3D^(pol) ***,in all structures,the RdRP fingers domain is partially disordered,while different conformations of RdRP substructures and interactions between them are also *** particular,a large-scale conformational change occurred in the motif b-middle finger region in one protein chain of theΔ40 structure,while a previously documented alternative conformation of motif A was observed in all IAPV *** experimental data on one hand show intrinsic conformational variances of RdRP substructures,and on the other hand suggest possible contribution of the NE region in proper RdRP folding in IAPV.

The adsorption of carbon atom on Fe surface and in Fe subsurface with and without rare earth(La and Ce)substitution in the surface layer and subsurface layer was studied by first-principles *** carbon atom is predicted to adsorb at hollow and long bridge site on Fe(100)and Fe(110),***,the carbon atom shifts to occupy preferentially hollow site on both Fe(100)and Fe(110)with rare earth atom doping at surface *** lower adsorption energies involved with stronger adsorption abilities were obtained for carbon atoms on Fe surface with rare earth doping at surface layer,which was determined by the electronic structure of the surface *** La atom was pulled out the surface after carbon adsorption due to strong interaction of La-C,which is consistent with the more charge *** the subsurface region,the carbon atom prefers to occupy at octahedral site with rare earth doping at surface layer in Fe *** strong adsorption energies of the carbon atoms on Fe surface and in Fe subsurface with rare earth pose relevant insights into the interaction between carbon and rare earth,which helps to understanding the influence mechanism of rare earth in carburizing.

This paper is dedicated to applying the Fourier amplitude sensitivity test(FAST)method to the problem of mixed extension and inflation of a circular cylindrical tube in the presence of residual *** metafunctions and the Ishigami function are considered in the sensitivity analysis(sa).The effects of the input variables on the output variables are investigated,and the most important parameters of the system under the applied pressure and axial force such as the axial stretch and the azimuthal stretch are determined.
