The term immunophilin involves a family of proteins whose domain shows peptidylprolyl-(cis/trans)-isomerase (PPIase)enzymatic activity,i.e., the reversible cis/trans interconversion of Xaa-Pro bonds (Annett et al.,2020).The PPlase domain of these proteins usually binds to immunosuppressive drugs,such as the macrolide FK506 (referred to as the FKBP subfamily) or the cyclic undecapeptide cyclosporine A (called CyP subfamily).

Given the increase in international trading and the significant energy and environmental challenges in ports around the world, there is a need for a greater understanding of the energy demand behaviour at *** move towards electrified rubber-tyred gantry(RTG)cranes is expected to reduce gas emissions and increase energy savings compared to diesel RTG cranes but it will increase electrical energy demand. Electrical load forecasting is a key tool for understanding the energy demand which is usually applied to data with strong regularities and seasonal patterns. However, the highly volatile and stochastic behaviour of the RTG crane demand creates a substantial prediction challenge. This paper is one of the first extensive investigations into short term load forecastsfor electrified RTG crane demand. Options for model inputs are investigated depending on extensive data and correlation analysis. The effect of estimation accuracy of exogenous variables on the forecast accuracy is investigated as well. The models are tested on two different RTG crane data sets that were collected from the Port of Felixstowe in the UK. The results reveal the effectiveness of the forecast models when the estimation of the number of crane moves and container gross weight are accurate.

The Human Development Index (HDI) was created by the United Nations (UN) and is the basis for many other indicators, as well as being the origin of many public policies worldwide. It is a summary measure of life expectancy, education, and per capita income. These components, in addition to being global measures, show difficulty in being impacted and, with this, advancing in the level of human development. This work shows a model that relates variables of social distribution and access to infrastructure in Mexico, with the HDI. These variables were chosen through a statistical analysis based on a set of indicators measured by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) periodically at the municipal level. The statistical analysis shows that there is no simple correlation between these variables and the HDI, so that a supervised learning model based on a neural network was used, therefore proposing a classification technique based on the distribution of data in the underlying metric space. In addition, an attempt was made to find the simplest possible model to reduce the computational cost and in turn obtain information on the variables with the greatest impact on the HDI, with the aim of facilitating the creation of public policies that impact it.

To achieve CO2 emissions reductions, the UK Building Regulations require developers of new residential buildings to calculate expected CO2 emissions arising from their energy consumption using a methodology such as Standard Assessment Procedure （SAP 2005） or, more recently SAP 2009. SAP encompasses all domestic heat consumption and a limited proportion of the electricity consumption. However, these calculations are rarely verified with real energy consumption and related CO2 emissions. This work presents the results of an analysis based on weekly heat demand data for more than 200 individual fiats. The data were collected from a recently built residential development connected to a district heating network. A method for separating out the domestic hot water （DHW） use and space heating （SH） demand has been developed and these values are compared to the demand calculated using SAP 2005 and SAP 2009 methodologies. The analysis also shows the variation in DHW and SH consumption with size of flats and with tenure （privately owned or social housing）. Evaluation of the space heating consumption also includes an estimate of the heating degree day （HDD） base temperature for each block of fiats and compares this to the average base temperature calculated using the SAP 2005 methodology.

A modelling study was performed to solve the heat and mass transfer problems between grain and the ambient air encountered during drying by microwave assisted hot-air dryer,under low microwave(MW)density of 0.2 W/***(Brassica napus),soybean(Glycine max)and corn(Zea mays)seeds were chosen due to their inherent high oil *** electron microscopy(SEM)was used to study the effect of drying conditions on the structural characteristics of these oilseeds.A mathematical model was adapted to simulate drying of one seed of canola,soybean and *** process of water transfer was modelled based on the effect of vapour pressure on the water molecules inside the *** was observed that when the difference between the vapour pressure inside the grain and the surrounding air was higher than,the drying rate increased which led to cracks in the *** showed that the drying rate decreased when the temperature of air inside the cavity of the microwave increased for all the oilseeds studied,because of the reduced differential vapour pressure between the grain and the ambient *** the other hand,the drying rate increased if the temperature of the inlet air was reduced because the difference between the two pressures *** was concluded that by controlling the ambient air,the grains could be protected against popping and cracking because of lower vapour pressure differential during MW assisted hot-air drying.

Background Exacerbations of heart failure appear frequently associated with precipitating factors not directly related to the evolution of cardiac disease. There still a paucity of data on the proportional distribution of precipitating factors specifically in elderly patients. The aim of this study was to examine prospectively the precipitating factors leading to hospitalization in elderly patients with heart failure in our community hospital. Methods We evaluate elderly patients who need admissions for decompensate heart failure. All patients were reviewed daily by the study investigators at the first 24 h and closely followed-up. Decompensation was defined as the worsening in clinical NYHA class associated with the need for an increase in medical treatment （at minimum intravenously diuretics）. Results We included 102 patients （mean age 79 ± 12 years）. Precipitating factors were identified in 88.5%. The decompensation was sudden in 35% of the cases. Noncompliance with diet was identified in 52% of the patients, lack of adherence to the prescribed medications amounted to 30%. Others precipitating factors were infections （29%）, arrhythmias （25%）, acute coronary ischemia （22%）, and uncontrolled hypertension （15%）, miscellaneous causes were detected in 18% of the cases （progression of renal disease 60%, anemia 30% and iatrogenic factors 10%）. Concomitant cause was not recognizable in 11.5%. Conclusions Large proportion heart failure hospitalizations are associated with preventable precipitating factors. Knowledge of potential precipitating factors may help to optimize treatment and provide guidance for patients with heart failure. The presence of potential precipitating factors should be routinely evaluated in patients presenting chronic heart failure.

A Research of the Environmental and Social Effects of the Adoption of Biotechnological Practices for Soybean Cultivation in Argentina

In recent years, the excessive and unregulated implementation of biotechnological practices has placed a large number of farmers in a precarious position throughout our country. Here we review and we analyzed results produced in field experiments installed along the Argentinean Pampas to determine environmental and social effects of the adoption of biotechnology practices associated with direct sowing (DS) of soybean. The use of machinery for farm work, the perfection of handling techniques, the incorporation of improved seeds, and the use of fertilizers and pesticides together influenced a significant increase in the productivity of the land, manual labors and capital. Despite positive economic results of this agricultural renewal also brought about consequences that proved to be detrimental to producers. By the end of the 1980s numerous sectors were in states of crisis. The major findings of our research are: 1) exhaustion of resources;2) erosion problems brought on by inappropriate land use and soil compaction by increased area under DS system;3) loss of biodiversity in the ecosystem;4) crisis among family-owned farms who cannot access to new improved technologies due to profitability, obsolete machinery and the impossibility of access to credit;5) reduction in smaller farms;6) increase in specialized production, which implies the subordination of farming production to the dynamic of capital and finally more direct relationships between the entities generating technology and primary productions. The results of our study on adoption of biotechnology practice associated to DS of soybean give the following results: 1) the deterioration of family income from farms reached 41% per hectare comparing the average values of the 1990s to the 1980s. Farms smaller than 190 hectares, therefore, ceased to be “competitive” in Buenos Aires State, it can be observed a reduction of 24.2% in the number of farms.
