As the use of.Cannabis products as natural medicines burgeons,it is also appearing as a f.od *** is important to screen Cannabis samples as ingredients by prof.ling their chemical compositions,which is ref.rred to as *** sets of.botanical extracts were *** f.rst set is ref.rred to as Cannabis contained plant materials f.om 15 samples of.the sativa,indica,and hybrids of.the two *** second set contained 20 extracts f.om the variety of.Cannabis sativa with low tetrahydrocannabinol(THC)concentrations,i.e.,below 0.3%,and,hencef.rth,will be ref.rred to as *** ultraviolet(UV)microplate reader provides a cost-ef.ective and high-throughput method f.r identif.ing chemotypes of.plant extracts by their *** microplate reader af.ords rapid measurements of.small volumes,e.g.,50μL,which demonstrates a potential to signif.cantly reduce the analysis time and cost f.r Cannabis and hemp chemotyping or chemi-cal *** samples were measured on dif.erent days to demonstrate the robustness of.the *** dif.erence resolution(PDR)maps were used to visualize the separations among the *** multivariate classif.ers,f.zzy rule-building expert system(f.RES),super partial least squares-discriminant analysis(sPLS-DA),support vector machine(SVM),and two tree-based support vector machines(SVMtreeG and SVMtreeH)were *** classif.ers were validated with ten bootstrapped Latin partitions(BLPs).f.r the Cannabis extracts,the SVMtreeG yielded the best perf.rmance and the classif.cation accuracy was 99.1±0.4%f.r spectra collected in the nonlinear absorbance *** the hemp extracts,the SVM classif.er perf.rmed the best with a 97.4±0.6%classif.cation *** results demonstrate that the UV microplate reader coupled with multivariate classif.ers can be used as a high-throughput and cost-ef.ective approach f.r chemotyping Cannabis.

Novel ceramics f.om waste material made of.x) paper ash–(80-x) cullet–20 kaolin clay(10 wt% ≤ x ≤ 30 wt%) were successf.lly synthesized using a conventional solid-state reaction technique. Energy-dispersive X-ray analysis conf.rmed the presence of.Si, Ca, Al, and f. in the waste material f.r preparing these ceramics. The inf.uence of.the cullet content on the phase structures and the dielectric properties of.these ceramics were systematically investigated. The impedance spectra were verif.ed in the range f.om 1 Hz to 10 MHz at room temperature. The phase of.the ceramics was f.und to primarily consist of.wollastonite(CaSiO_3), along with minor phases of.γ-dicalcium silicate(Ca_2SiO_4) and quartz(SiO_2). The sample with a cullet content of.55 wt% possessed the optimum wollastonite structure and exhibited good dielectric properties. An increase of.the cullet content beyond 55 wt% resulted in a structural change f.om wollastonite to dicalcium silicate, a decrease in dielectric constant, and an increase in dielectric loss. All experimental results suggested that these novel ceramics f.om waste are applicable f.r electronic devices.

Water is an increasingly scarce resource worldwide and irrigated agriculture remains one of.the largest and most inef.icient users of.this resource. Low water use ef.iciency （WUE） together with an increased competition f.r water resources with other sectors （e.g. tourism or industry） are f.rcing growers to adopt new irrigation and cultivation practices that use water more judiciously. In areas with dry and hot climates, drip irrigation and protected cultivation have improved WUE mainly by reducing runof. and evapotranspiration losses. However, complementary approaches are still needed to increase WUE in irrigated agriculture. Def.cit irrigation strategies like regulated def.cit irrigation or partial root drying have emerged as potential ways to increase water savings in agriculture by allowing crops to withstand mild water stress with no or only marginal decreases of.yield and quality. Grapevine and several f.uit tree crops seem to be well adapted to def.cit irrigation, but other crops like vegetables tend not to cope so well due to losses in yield and quality. This paper aims at providing an overview of.the physiological basis of.def.cit irrigation strategies and their potential f.r horticulture by describing the major consequences of.their use to vegetative growth, yield and quality of.dif.erent crops （f.uits, vegetables and ornamentals）.

In this work, three widely used commercial Zn alloys （ZA4-1, ZA4-3, ZA6-1 ） were purchased and pre- pared by hot extrusion at 200℃. The microstructure, mechanical properties, corrosion behaviors, biocompatibility and hemocompatibility of.Zn alloys were studied with pure Zn as control, Commercial Zn alloys demonstrated increased strength and superb elongation compared with pure Zn. Accelerated corrosion rates and unif.rm corrosion morphologies were observed in terms of.commercial Zn alloys due to galvanic ef.ects between Zn matrix and α-Al phases. 100% extracts of.ZA4-1 and ZA6-1 alloys showed mild cytotoxicity while 50% extracts of.all samples displayed good biocompatibility. Retardant cell cycle and inhibited stress f.bers expression were observed induced by high concentration of.Zn^2＋ releasing during corrosion. The hemolysis ratios of.Zn alloys were lower than 1% while the adhered platelets showed slightly activated morphologies. In general, commercial Zn alloys possess promising mechanical properties, appropriate corrosion rates, signif.cantly improved biocompatibility and good hemocompatibility in comparison to pure Zn. It is f.asible to develop biodegradable metals based on commercial Zn alloys.

f.re af.ects the physical and chemical properties and soil biological activity of.natural ecosystems. This study was conducted in the Miyan Tang region, Ilam Province in western Iran. The study site was 110 hectares, where we sampled soils in areas that were classif.ed by f.re severity： low （LS）, high （HS） and medium severity （MS）, and unburned （UB）, which served as the control. In each severity class, 25 transect points were randomly selected f.r measurement. Around each transect plot center, 3 soil samples were selected randomly and soils collected f.om the 0 to 20 cm depth were combined into a composite sample that was used in laboratory analysis to represent conditions at that point. Plots in the UB and LS f.re classes had similar soil conditions and had higher values of.f.ctors such as saturated moisture, organic carbon, carbon dioxide, and silt and clay content. In contrast, plots in the HS and MS f.re severity classes were clustered in the positive direction along the f.rst axis that represented gradients in soil acidity, electrical conductivity, cation exchange capacity, accessible phosphorus, accessible potassium, bulk density, and sand. Soil attributes were similar in areas of.HS and MS f.re severity classes, whereas soil conditions in the LS class and UB controls were most similar. f.re in the LS areas either did not signif.cantly alter the physicalchemical soil properties and microbial basal respiration, or soils were able to recover quickly af.er being burned.

Olf.ctory dysf.nction is common in Parkinson＇s disease （PD） and of.en predates the diagnosis by years, ref.ecting early deposition of.Lewy pathology, the histo- logic hallmark of.PD, in the olf.ctory bulb. Clinical tests are available that allow f.r the rapid characterization of.olf.ctory dysf.nction, including tests of.odor identif.cation, discrimination, detection, and recognition thresholds, memory, and tests assessing the build-up of.odor intensity across increasing suprathreshold stimulus concentrations. The high prevalence of.olf.ctory impairment, along with the ease and low cost of.assessment, has f.stered great interest in olf.ction as a potential biomarker f.r PD. Hyposmia may help dif.erentiate PD f.om other causes of.parkinsonism, and may also aid in the identif.cation of.＂pre-motor＂ PD due to the early pathologic involvement of.olf.ctory pathways. Olf.ctory f.nction is also correlated with other non-motor f.atures of.PD and may serve as a predictor of.cognitive decline. In this article, we summarize the existing literature on olf.ction in PD, f.cusing on the potential f.r olf.ction as a biomarker f.r early or dif.erential diagnosis and prognosis.
