Sillimanite is a brittle mineral as a metamorphic mineral product which is generally derived from clay, along with an increase in pressure and high temperature (600°C - 900°C), and kaliophilite is also a brittle mineral as a potassium bearing in the sand-shale series, which contributes to the clay diagenesis process. In the development of shale hydrocarbon in the Brownshale formation in the Bengkalis Trough, Central Sumatra Basin, using the correlation of the XRD (bulk and clay oriented), TOC, Ro, and MBT analysis results from the drill cuttings of well BS-03, so that the fracable zone interval can be determined. From this correlation, it shows that the presence of sillimanite and kaliophilite minerals as minor minerals greatly affects the changes in shale character and hydrocarbon generation, where at depth intervals of 10,780 ft downward (sand series-shale) there is an interesting phenomenon, i.e. low MBT, low TOC, and high Ro, so it is believed that the depth interval of 10,780 ft downward is a fracable zone interval (brittle shale) which is a good candidate for hydraulic fracking planning, while the upper depth interval is a fracture barrier.

The interest of this research: there is oil seepage at the contact between coal seam-A and sandstone facies of Warukin Formation, so it is necessary to study where is the source rock. The correlation between HI and Tmax as result from rock eval pyrolysis shows that the shale of the Warukin Formation is immature while the correlation between HI and OI shows oil prone. The vitrinite (Ro) reflectance of Central Wara coal is between 0.48% up to 0.5% (immature), the content of the vitrinite group is 68.0 - 84.8 (% Vol.), Liptinite 3.0 - 14.0 (% Vol.) and inertinite 0.48 - 25.0 (% Vol.). The high content of liptinite mineral groups (14% Vol.) and the presence of exsudatinite maceral are as an initial indication of bitumenization of oil formation when there is a change in reflectance and fluorescence. Therefore, Central Wara coal plays an important role as the source rock of the Warukin Formation, although the maturity level is immature, the presence of exsudatinite maceral is believed to be the source of origin for producing oil, where the organic material comes from terrestrial.

The interesting concern in this study is that in the same outcrop it was found that the first coal seam (coal seam-D) contains silicified coal and the second coal seam (coal seam-E) does not contain silicified coal and how to find out the cause. In general, the characteristics of silicified coal seam-D are in the form of lenses; the distribution extends from a few meters to several tens of meters with a thickness of three to five centimeters and some are in nodules. Environmental conditions are the main factor in the formation of silicified coal where the acidity level of coal bearing sediment seam-D which is between 3.4 (roof sediment) to 4.2 (floor sediment) is higher than coal bearing sediment seam-E which has a pH of 5.4. This condition indicates that the coal bearing sediment seam-D environment is more acidic than coal seam-E. The results of XRD analysis show that the seam-D containing silicified coal has a composition of 47.47% kaolinite, 21.27% illite, 23.73% smectite and 17.54% mixed layer, while the seam-E which does not contain silicified coal has a composition of kaolinite 35.78%, illite 17.88%, smectite 21.59% and mixed layer 24.76%. Acidic environmental conditions (pH) and silica enrichment in clay minerals (kaolinite) in the roof sediments during sedimentation, accelerated the process of deposition of colloidal silica in the wood structure of coal seams into silicified coal.

We determined the response of tree community structure to logging disturbance and topography,and the patterns of tree-habitat associations in Tano Offin Forest Reserve,*** sampled trees in 27 20 m× 20 m plots randomly and equally distributed in three topographic habitats(slope,valley,and hilltop) in each of two forests:logged and *** topographic features,altitude and degree of slope,were measured and related with species ***,there were significant effects of logging and topographic habitat and their interaction on species diversity and composition,with the unlogged forest and valley habitat supporting higher *** diversity varied among the topographic habitats in the logged but not in the unlogged *** were topographic effects on abundance of individual species but not on tree community abundance and basal *** and its interaction with topographic habitat showed significant effects on tree abundance and basal *** species were associated with specific topographic habitats or a combination in the logged and unlogged ***,the patterns of habitat associations of the species differed between the logged and unlogged forests.

With the advancement of technology,gas shales have become one of the most prominent energy sources all over the ***,estimating the amount of adsorbed gas in shale resources is necessary for the technical and economic foresight of the production *** paper presents a novel machine learning method called grey wolf optimizer support vector machine(GWO-SVM)to predict adsorbed *** this purpose,a data set containing temperature,pressure,total organic carbon(TOC),and humidity has been collected from several sources,and the GWO-SVM model was created based on *** results show that this model has R-squared and root mean square error equal to 0.982 and 0.08,***,the results ensure that the proposed model gives an excellent prediction of the amount of adsorbed gas compared to previously proposed ***,according to the sensitivity analysis,among the input parameters,humidity has the highest effect on gas adsorption.

We studied the impacts of liana cutting as a forest management tool on liana diversity （species richness, Shannon diversity index） and community structure （diam- eter distribution, basal area, species dominance） in the Asenanyo Forest Reserve, Ghana. Two types of silvicul- turally treated forests were studied： Logging treated （LT） and Tropical Shelterwood System （TSS） treated forests. An untreated primary forest was included as a control, result- ing in three forest management systems. Lianas with diameter 〉2 cm were identified in ten 40 × 40 m2 plots within each management system. Liana cutting signifi- cantly reduced liana species richness, Shannon diversity index, and basal area in the LT forest after two decades. However, liana species richness and basal area werecomparable in the TSS treated and untreated forests, indi- cating significant recovery in the former after over six decades. Sφrensen similarity index of liana species com- position between the untreated forest and each of the treated forests was moderate. Our findings suggest that liana cutting most likely influenced the dominance of some liana species. In view of the adverse impact of blanket liana cutting on liana diversity, selective liana cutting is rec- ommended as a means of controlling liana numbers while maintaining liana diversity.

Objective:To determine the inhibition mechanisms of secretome protein extracted from Paenibacillus polymyxa Kp10(Kp10)and Lactococcus lactis Gh1(Gh1)against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus(VRE).Methods:The sensitivity and viability of MRSA and VRE treated with secretome proteins of Kp10 and Gh1 were determined using minimal inhibitory concentration,minimum bactericidal concentration,and time-to-kill *** morphological changes were observed using scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron *** elucidate the antimicrobial mechanism of secretome protein of Kp10 and Gh1 against MRSA and VRE,2D gel proteomic analysis using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry was run by comparing upregulated and downregulated proteins,and the proton motive force study including the efflux of ATP,pH gradient,and the membrane potential study were ***:MRSA and VRE were sensitive to Kp10 and Gh1 secretome protein extracts and displayed apparent morphological and internal composition *** proteins associated with cellular component functions were either downregulated or upregulated in treated MRSA and VRE by changing the membrane potential ***:Kp10 and Gh1 secretome proteins reduce the growth of VRE and MRSA by damaging the cell *** division,cell wall biosynthesis,and protein synthesis are involved in the inhibition mechanism.
