In this paper, we have designed and simulated all-optical tristate Pauli X, Y and Z gates using 2D photonic crystal. Simple line and point defects have been used to design the structure. The performance of the structure has been analyzed and investigated by plane wave expansion(PWE) and finite difference time domain(FDTD) methods. Different performance parameters, namely contrast ratio(CR), rise time, fall time, delay time, response time and bit rate, have been calculated. The main advantage of the proposed design is that all the Pauli gates have been realized from a single structure. Due to compact size, fast response time, good CR and high bit rate, the proposed structure can be highly useful for optical computing, data processing and optical integrated circuits.

Lean combustion is environment friendly with low NO_(x)emissions providing better fuel efficiency in a combustion ***,approaching towards lean combustion can make engines more susceptible to an undesirable phenomenon called lean blowout(LBO)that can cause flame extinction leading to sudden loss of *** the design stage,it is quite challenging for the scientists to accurately determine the optimal operating limits to avoid sudden LBO ***,it is crucial to develop accurate and computationally tractable frameworks for online LBO prediction in low NO_(x)emission *** the best of our knowledge,for the first time,we propose a deep learning approach to detect the transition to LBO in combustion *** this work,we utilize a laboratory-scale swirl-stabilized combustor to collect acoustic data for different *** each protocol,starting far from LBO,we gradually move towards the LBO regime,capturing a quasi-static time series dataset at different *** one of the protocols in our dataset as the reference protocol,we find a transition state metric for our trained deep learning model to detect the imminent LBO in other test *** find that our proposed approach is more precise and computationally faster than other baseline models to detect the transition to ***,we endorse this technique for monitoring the operation of lean combustion engines in real time.

Field-based sedimentology,state of the art facies analysis and sequence stratigraphic framework analysis have revealed the controls of local and global tectonics,basin-marginal slope,climate and changes in relative sea level （RSL） over the sedimentation pattern and evolution of a Neoproterozoic Kerur Formation within the Badami Group of Kaladgi Supergroup in *** entire succession shows three major cycles of *** study and fluvial architectural elemental analysis suggest considerable variations in depositional environments as well as palaeogeography.A transition from basin-margin alluvial cone deposits to braided system,initially with fluctuating ephemeral flows then to a steadier semi-perennial nature,is discernible within the 1stcycle,in response to decreasing depositional slope with rising water *** initial alluvial cone and braided ephemeral streams of high slope areas is designated as a product of low accommodation systems tract （LAST）,while the semi-perennial system with steadier flows,representing the axial river of the initial rift valley,appears to be a product of high-accommodation systems tract （HAST）.The 2ndcycle begins with a perennial and steady braided river system and grades upward to a shallow marine succession,comprising wave-dominated,well-sorted sandstone,with a granular transgressive lag at the ***,the bottommost fluvial interval of the 2ndcycle constitutes the lowstand systems tract （LST）.The marine succession represents deposits of outer shelf offshore to foreshore-beach settings and is composed of an initially deepening and fining upward transgressive systems tract （TST）,followed by a coarsening and shallowing upward highstand systems tract （HST） with a maximum marine flooding surface （MFS） in between,demarcated by a shale-rich condensed *** 3rdcycle,with its prograding alluvial fan and aggrading braided fluvial deposits and restricted occurrence,represents only the low accommodation systems tract（LAST） with

The nano era demands the synthesis of new nanostructured materials,if possible by simplified techniques,with remarkable properties and versatile ***,we demonstrate a new single-step reproducible melt-quench methodology to fabricate core-shell bimetallic(Au0 Ag0)nanoparticles(2889 nm)embedded glasses(dielectrics)by the use of a new reducing glass matrix,K_(2)O B_(2)O_(3) Sb_(2)O_(3)(KBS)without applying any external reducing agent or multiple processing *** surface plasmon resonance(SPR)band of these nanocomposites embedded in KBS glass is tunable in the range 554-681 *** remarkably,taking advantage of the selective reduction capability of Sb_(2)O_(3),this single-step methodology is used to fabricate inter-metallic:rare-earth ions co-embedded(AuAg:Sm^(3+))dielectric(glass)-based-dnanocomposites and study the effect of enhanced local fi eld on the red upconversion fl uorescence of Sm^(3+)ions at 636 *** enhancement is found to be about 2 *** single-step in-situ selective reduction approach can be used to fabricate a variety of hybrid-nanocomposite devices for laser based applications(see supplementary information).

The unsteady flow of a Casson fluid and heat transfer over a stretching surface in presence of suction/blowing are investigated. The transformed equations are solved numerically by using the shooting method. The exact solution corre- sponding to the momentum equation for the steady case is obtained. Fluid velocity initially decreases with the increase of unsteadiness parameter. Due to an increasing Casson parameter the velocity field is suppressed. Thermal radiation enhances the effective thermal diffusivity and the temperature rises.
