microplastics (mPs) have been an emerging concern due to their harmful effects on the ecosystem and are ubiquitous in various habitats, from marine to terrestrial environments. However, studies on the presence of mPs in recreational areas are limited. One of the previous works has reported that urban recreational parks are considered “sinks” for plastic debris, including mPs. In this study, low-density mPs (LD-mPs) in soil samples collected from recreational parks of al Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE) were isolated by density flotation method. Results showed that these parks have varying levels of LD-mPs caused by various anthropogenic activities, such as sludge use and application of reclaimed water from wastewater treatment facilities in those areas. These plastic particles were isolated in 87% of the soil samples, with an average concentration of 1550 ± 340 mPs/kg. Predominantly, these comprised large LD-mPs (300 - 5000 μm), with red and blue being the most common colors. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy identified possible synthetic polymers, including polyethylene and polypropylene. Additionally, a negative correlation was observed between LD-mP concentration and soil pH and moisture content, indicating potential adverse effects on soil health. These findings highlight the need for monitoring and managing microplastic pollution in urban recreational areas to mitigate its ecological impacts.

Thyroid hormones def ine basal metabolism throughout the body, particularly in the intestine and viscera. Gastrointestinal manifestations of dysthyroidism are numerous and involve all portions of the tract. Thyroid hormone action on motility has been widely studied, but more complex pathophysiologic mechanisms have been indicated by some studies although these are not fully understood. Both thyroid hormone excess and def iciency can have similar digestive manifestations, such as diarrhea, although the mechanism is different in each situation. The liver is the most affected organ in both hypo-and hyperthyroidism. Specifi c digestive diseases may be associated with autoimmune thyroid processes, such as Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Grave's disease. Among them, celiac sprue and primary biliary cirrhosis are the most frequent although a clear common mechanism has never been proven. Overall, thyroid-related digestive manifestations were described decades ago but studies are still needed in order to conf irm old concepts or elucidate undiscovered mechanisms. all practitioners must be aware of digestive symptoms due to dysthyroidism in order to avoid misdiagnosis of rare but potentially lethal situations.

毫无疑问,在斜拉桥领域,中国是最先进的国家之一。在过去的70年里,中国已经修建了20多座主跨从600米到1088米的大跨度斜拉桥,全国已经设计了数百座这样的桥梁,它们通常用于中大跨度的桥梁。由于这种类型的桥梁高效易行、造价相对经济、施工速度快、外观优美,斜拉桥成为最令人向往的桥梁系统之一。当拉索失效(断裂)时,拉索断裂可能会将威胁转化为灾难,因为拉索处于失效情况下,存在发生连续倒塌的风险,这对斜拉桥来说可能是毁灭性的。本文建立起了根据中国相关规范和标准构建的斜拉桥有限元(FE)模型,参考美国后拉力研究所相关建议,采用几何非线性进行静态、动态研究和分析。基于先进的有限元(FE)非线性动态仿真平台,对大跨斜拉桥上的拉索失效事件进行了详细的数值模拟分析。动态放大系数(DAF)用于测量各种结构单元,包括拉索、桥塔和主梁的横截面。此外,在阻尼水平效应中,分析了阻尼对侧向布置位置的最长(倾角最小)的斜拉索的动态响应的影响。本文旨在研究斜拉桥及其构件在一根斜拉索意外断裂时的动力放大系数。基于Ansys APDL19.1,按北约交通荷载进行考虑,对斜拉桥在索力突然损失作用下的时域性能进行了研究。这样的研究需要大量的时间和建模工作,只有进行大量的的动态试验才会更有价值。因此,可以使用动态放大系数来解释动态效应的准静态研究。在北大西洋公约组织(NATO)的车辆荷载作用下,进行了参数试验,以确定与拉索断裂机制相关的各种重要参数以及随机交通荷载产生的动力冲击的影响。结果表明,当车辆超载导致单根拉索失效时,DAF值一般略小于2。

AIm:To determine the efficacy and success of percutaneous aspiration irrigation and reaspiration(PAIR) in the management of hepatic ***:Twenty-six patients with 32 hepatic hydatid cysts had ***-two patients received at least 2 wk of drug therapy before the procedure was carried out to reduce the risk of recurrence from spillage during the *** procedure was performed under local anesthesia with a 19-gauge 20 cm long needle,the cyst was punctured,cystic content(approximately 30 mL) was aspirated by a 12-14 F pigtail catheter and aspirated fluids were sent for *** the cyst was almost empty,two-thirds of the net amount of material aspirated was replaced by hypertonic saline and left in the cavity for about 30 min,with the catheter left in place for reaspiration of most of the *** the amount of fluid drained was less than 10 mL per 24 h,the drainage catheter was ***:all 32 cysts showed evidence of immediate collapse after completion of the procedure,and before discharge from hospital,ultrasound examination showed fluid reaccumulation in all *** follow-up showed a progressive decrease in the size and change in the appearance of *** confirm the sterility of these cystic cavities,seven cysts were reaspirated on average 3 mo after the *** revealed no viable ***:PAIR using hypertonic saline is very effective and safe with proper precautions.

翻译与文化的关系一直是研究的热点,任何译者都不能忽视文化因素在翻译过程中的作用。译者在将一种语言的文本呈现到另一种语言时,不仅在语言上,而在两种语言的背景(文化)下,都能感受到两种语言之间的巨大差异。因此,他成为文化之间的中介,而不仅是在语言上。文化是社会的遗产,它是一个民族长期积累的精华,其中的价值观是文化的核心部分。不同的文化可以根据不同的价值观来区分。地理、历史、思维方式和其他的差异导致文化的异质性,这被称为文化差异。随着全球化的发展,阿拉伯与中国两国之间的文化交流越来越繁荣。本文根据阿汉语言和文化的差异及其对于文化互译的重要性影响,提出翻译活动之间的差距就具备"文化不足"现象。引用约翰·贝利John ***的文化适应理论,尤金·奈达Eugene ***的功能对等理论,尤其是借鉴了中国特色翻译理论中的和合翻译理念,研究了那些具有不同语言和文化背景的翻译人员在阿汉互译工作过程中所需要采用的各种翻译技术以及策略,并进一步探讨了阿汉语言和文化的差异及其对阿汉翻译的重要性。

深水桥梁矩形围堰水流荷载的分流板抑制方法

围堰是深水桥梁建设顺利开展的重要平台和前提,在其节段施工中动水荷载是影响钢围堰精确定位、下沉及着床的关键因素。为减小水流作用下的钢围堰动水荷载,针对矩形围堰提出一种在尾端增加一定长度分流板的抑制方法。首先采用计算流体力学(CFD)方法基于开源分析平台OpenFOAm建立钢围堰的二维简化模型,引入修正的k-ε湍流模型用以闭合求解钢围堰超高雷诺数效应下的N-S方程,通过方形截面和矩形截面柱验证所提方法的准确性;然后针对足尺钢围堰模型分流板的设置对于钢围堰动水阻力和横向摆动力的影响进行分析,明确不同分流板长度以及前/后端分流板对动水荷载的抑制作用,提出优化可行的分流板设置方案。研究结果表明:在高雷诺数条件下标准的k-ε模型不能准确捕捉方形及矩形钝体的涡旋脱落过程,会严重低估动水荷载,采用修正的k-ε模型可准确模拟矩形钝体的绕流特性,与试验值吻合良好,可用于钢围堰的计算分析;矩形钢围堰采用圆角设置可有效减小动水阻力和横向摆动力,横向摆动频率提高;在钢围堰后端增加中央分流板可显著降低动水阻力和横向摆动力,当分流板长度在1/10钢围堰纵边长时,抑制效率最高;分流板长度超过钢围堰纵边长的75%时,尾流出现摆动,导致横向摆动力增大,此时增加前端分流板可抑制摆动作用;仅设置前端分流板对动水作用的影响可忽略;通过现场流迹线试验,验证了采用尾端分流板方案的有效性,其可减小并推后尾流涡旋的形成,有效抑制了钢围堰受到的动水阻力和摆动力。

The Abu Dabbab albite granite(ADAG),in the central Eastern Desert of Egypt,hosts the most significant rare metal ore deposit in the northern part of the Neoproterozoic Arabian-Nubian ***,we report detailed field,petrographic,mineralogical and geochemical investigation of the ADAG,an isolated stock-like granitic body with sharp intrusive contacts against metamorphic country rocks,probably emplaced at about 600 *** fine-grained porphyritic upper unit is a preserved remnant of the shallowly-emplaced apex of the magma chamber,whereas the medium-grained lower unit crystallized at deeper levels under subvolcanic *** peraluminous leucocratic ADAG shares common geochemical characteristics with post-collisional intraplate A-type *** addition to the conspicuous enrichment in Na2O,the ADAG is remarkable for its anomalous concentrations of Ta,Nb,Li,Hf,Ga,Sn,Zn and heavy rare-earth ***-Ta minerals in the ADAG are mixed with Fe-mn oxides,forming black patches that increase in abundance toward of the base of the ***-tantalite,cassiterite and wolframite are the most important ore *** negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*=0.10–0.24)reflect extreme magmatic fractionation and perhaps the effects of late fluid-rock *** ADAG was most likely generated by partial melting of the juvenile middle crust of the ANS as the geotherm was elevated by erosional uplift following lithospheric delamination and it was emplaced at the intersection of lineations of structural *** formation of the ADAG and its primary enrichment in rare metals are essentially due to magmatic processes,late-stage metasomatism caused limited redistribution of rare ***-driven subsolidus modification was limited to the apex of the magma chamber and drove development of greisen,amazonite,and quartz veins along fracture systems.

The Qassim province is one of the most arid regions of Saudi Arabia, however heavy rainfall events have led to water logging problems in the populated centers like Buraidah mainly as a consequence of construction in low lying areas and valleys. Urban rain storm water logging problem were reported at 4 localities in the Buraidah municipal area after heavy rainfall in November 2008 and march 2009. The logged water from these sites were directed to 4 manmade lakes however the stagnant water in these lakes posed a serious environmental threat mainly in the form of water borne disease. Keeping this problem in mind, a detailed geophysical investigation in the form of Electrical Resistivity Tomography was carried out using the SYSCal Pro Unit at these 4 locations with a dipole-dipole configuration. The survey was helpful in delineating the wet zones from the dry ones and based on the interpretations the optimum depth and sites of 4 injections bore-wells were determined at each locality. These injection bore-well would serve the dual propose of getting rid of the stagnant water in these lakes and also recharging the underlying aquifers.
