Da.a.were collected a.d a.a.yzed from a.cross-sectiona. study using the World Hea.th Orga.iza.ion’s STEPwise a.proa.h, to estima.e the preva.ence of va.ious types of dyslipidemia.a.d determine their a.socia.ed fa.tors a.ong a.ults in Kingdom of Sa.di a.a.ia. The study popula.ion included 4490 Sa.di a.ults a.ed 15 yea.s a.d older who were selected by a.stra.ified, multista.e, cluster ra.dom sa.pling technique. Lipid profile wa. determined by spectrophotometrica.ly by biochemica. methods, high tota. cholesterol (TC) wa. defined a. TC of 5.2 mmol/L or more, hypertriglyceridemia.a. serum triglycerides level 1.7 mmol/L or more a.d. low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) a. serum HDL-C 0.9 mmol/L or less, LDL-C 3.35 mmol/L or more a.d TC/HDL ra.io 5 or more. Of the 4490 subjects (94.4 % of tota. sa.ple) included in the fina. a.a.ysis, 51% were fema.es, 23% of study subjects were less tha. 25yea.s a.d 11% were 55 or more yea.s of a.e. The overa.l preva.ence of dyslipidemia.ra.ged from a.out 20% to 40%. The highest preva.ence wa. for triglycerides where a.out 44% of a.l subjects were a.fected. a.out a.fifth of the subjects ha. high level of tota. cholesterol. Ma.es ha. significa.tly higher preva.ence of a.l types of dyslipidemia.tha. fema.e except LDL-C a.d TC. Higher dyslipidemia.preva.ence of tota. cholesterol a.d triglycerides were significa.tly found in older subjects, illitera.es a.d housekeepers. Lower preva.ence ra.es for HDL-C wa. significa.tly observed in retired a.d youngest subjects. There were significa.t regiona. va.ia.ions a.d significa.tly higher preva.ence of dyslipidemia.a.ong hypertensives, dia.etics, obese/overweight, smokers a.d physica.ly ina.tive subjects. There were no significa.t differences a.cording to income or fruits a.d vegeta.le consumption. Logistic regression a.a.ysis revea.ed tha. obesity/overweight, gender, a.e, dia.etes were the most importa.t significa.t predictors of dyslipidemia. The findings of this study suggest tha. the pre

The compound （1 z）-2-（hydroxymethyl）-dodec-1-ene-1,3-diol wa. previously isola.ed from the integument of the red pa.m weevil Rhynhophorus ferruginous a.d found to a.ta.onize ca.cium chloride induced dysrrhythmia.in mice. Further ca.cium-dependent pha.ma.ologica. a.tions performed in this study revea.ed tha. it ha. the a.ility to inhibit pla.elets a.grega.ion induced in guinea.pigs with either a.P or a.chegonia.a.ids, a.d the compound a.so decrea.ed the a.teria. pressure in ra.s in a.dose-dependent ma.ner a.d exerted potentia. a.t consulta.t a.tivity in mice a.a.nst pentylene tetra.ole-induced seizures. However, no complete protection wa. observed. a.a.gesic studies in mice using the hot pla.e （58 ℃） revea.ed its potentia. a.a.gesic a.tivities. Its effective dose 50 （ED50） wa. 85.7 ± 6.3 mg/kg （N= 5）. The compound sea.ed to produce a.l of the a.ove a.tions via.a.ca.cium a.ta.onistic a.tion.

In this work, the ma.s resulting from self energy is obta.ned by utilizing the genera.ized rela.ivity. The expression for the ma.s which results from the gra.ita.iona. field is finite. Objectives: The a.m of this study wa. to investiga.e the rela.ionship between the levels of 25-hydroxyvita.in D a.d the a.ipokine resistin in Sa.di dia.etic pa.ients a.d those a. high risk to develop a.herosclerotic ca.diova.cula. disea.es. Methodology: One hundred a.d sixty seven subjects were recruited for the cross-sectiona. study a. King Fa.a. Medica. City, Sa.di a.a.ia. Blood sa.ples were a.a.yzed for biochemica. pa.a.eters. Serum 25-hydroxyvita.in D a.d resistin levels were mea.ured for a.l the pa.ticipa.ts. Result: Fifty six type-1, 55 type-2 dia.etic pa.ients a.d 56 hea.thy controls were recruited. Serum 25-hydroxyvita.in D level in the control group wa. 44.21 ± 41.80 μg/ml compa.ed to 50.67 ± 35.60 μg/ml in the dia.etic group (P = 0.427) with no significa.t different between type-2 dia.etes mellitus a.d type-1 dia.etes mellitus (P = 0.628). Resistin level in the control group wa. 14.00 ± 7.39μg/ml compa.ed to 20.21 ± 16.94 μg/ml in the dia.etic group (P ≤ 0.01), no significa.t difference between type-2 dia.etes mellitus a.d type-1 dia.etes mellitus (P = 0.817). Resistin in those ta.ing vita.in D supplementa.ion wa. 21.34 ± 18.27 μg/ml;a.d in those not ta.ing vita.in D supplementa.ion, it wa. 17.4 ± 11.19 μg/ml;(P = 0.237). There wa. significa.t nega.ive correla.ion between 25-hydroxyvita.in D a.d resistin in type-2 dia.etes mellitus (P ≤ 0.043) a.d no significa.t correla.ion wa. found between vita.in 25 (OH) D a.d resistin level in type-1 dia.etes mellitus (P = 0.538). Blood urea.a.d crea.inine showed significa.t positive correla.ion with vita.in 25 (OH) D in one ha.d a.d resistin level on the other ha.d. Discussion a.d Conclusions: Severa. in vitro a.d in vivo studies ha.e confirmed tha. the vita.in 25 (OH) D ha.e numerous importa.t functions in the body. The circula.ing vita.in 25 (OH) D a.d resistin levels were a.socia.ed with genera. infla.ma.ion in rena. disea.es. Plank quantum and classical string energy relations seem to be uncorrelated. This work correlated them. The relativistic energy-momentum relation has been used together with plank and de Brogglie hypothesis to prove that the wave group velocity is equal to the particle velocity in both ordinary and curved space. The plank energy relation is shown also to be related to the classical energy relation of an oscillating string. Starting from plank energy relation for n photons and performing integration, the expression of classical string energy was obtained. This means that one can treat electromagnetic waves as a collection of continuous photons having frequencies ranging from zero to w. Conversely, starting from classical string energy relation by differentiating it with respect to angular frequency, the plank quantum energy for n photons has been found. This means that the quanta results from separation of electromagnetic waves to single isolated waves. Each wave consists of n photons or quanta.
