Aneurysm or pseudoaneurysm formation in the aortic patch containing the intercostal or visceral arteries is an unusual late complication after thoracoabdominal aortic surgery. We report the case of a 58-year-old woman who had previously undergone thoracoabdominal aortic replacement (Crawford extent II) for dissecting aneurysm. About 12 months after the operation repeated pseudoaneurysmal degenerations occurred at the intercostal or visceral artery reattachment site. They were repaired with open surgery or endovascular stent-graft. The patient recovered without major complications, and computed tomographic scans showed no recurrence of aneurysm or pseudoaneurysm at the sites of repair 1 year after the procedure.

This research aims to identify the morphological changes of the Padma River due to the effects of anthropogenic climate change. The morphological changes were measured by aerial satellite images and their historical comparison, terrestrial survey, sedimentation in the riverbed, water flow, water discharge, siltation, and erosion along the river, etc. The Padma River has been analyzed over the period from 1971 to 2020 using multi-temporal Landsat images and long-term water flow data. The climatic parameters data related to temperature and rainfall were collected from 21 metrological stations distributed throughout Bangladesh over a 50-year period (1965-2015) to evaluate the magnitude of these changes statistically and spatially. The Padma, traditionally considered as a dominantly meandering river, is switching over into a braided river due to its highly susceptible nature of erosion and deposition. Results reveal that the tidal range is high during the dry season and increases from upstream to downstream of the river. Climate change may bring changes upstream by changing rainfall intensity, flood severity, and extreme temperature. More inundation can occur due to sedimentation, and more bank erosion can occur at the same time. An exponential increase of morphological activity with increased river flow, water discharge, bank erosion might substantially increase in the future. The changes in the flow introduced by climate change would impact the morphology of the Padma River of Bangladesh during the monsoon. A major change has been observed in the location of the bank and channel, as well as bars, along with their geometry and morphology over time. It is also observed that the bank line is not stable and migrated continuously. The overall width of the Padma River is varied significantly during the last 50 years. Objective:To explore the in vitro antibacterial potential of the peel of Cucurbita moschata Duchesne(tropical pumpkin)(***)against human pathogenic ***:In the present study,dichloromethane(DCM),methanol(MEOH)and aqueous extracts of *** peel were examined for in vitro antibacterial potency against eight bacterial strains *** cereus,Burkholderia cepacia,Escherichia coli,Enterococcus faecalis,Staphyloccocus aureus,Pseudomonas aerugenosa,Vibrio alginolyticus,Vibrio parahaemolyticus using Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion susceptibility and broth micro-dilution ***:DCM extract of pumpkin peel exhibited the maximum zone of inhibition against Staphyloccocus aureus(21 mm)whereas aqueous extract of pumpkin peel revealed the least zone of inhibition against Escherichia coli(8 mm).MEOH extract gave maximum zone of inhibition against Pseudomonas aerugenosa(19 mm).Broth micro-dilution method showed minimum inhibitory concentration for the DCM extract against Burkholderia cepacia at 6.25 mg/*** minimum bactericidal concentrations were also determined to know the nature of all *** and MEOH extracts exhibited bactericidal nature to all bacterial strains except for the Vibrio *** minimum bactericidal concentrations values exhibited bactericidal nature ranging from 3.12 mg/mL to 100.00 mg/*** screening of antimicrobial properties of different extracts of *** peel revealed that the DCM extract possessed good antimicrobial efficacy compared to MEOH and aqueous ***:Peel of *** possesses antibacterial compounds and could be potential source for a new class of antibiotics.

CAR T Cell Immunotherapy That Revolutionary Breakthrough in Human Oncology Treatment: A Review

The discovery of CAR T cell immunotherapy, also known as chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell immunotherapy, has added a new dimension to the world of cancer treatment. This is a gene-based treatment in which T cells from the patient’s body are taken and genetically engineered in the lab to grow receptors. T cells containing this receptor are then injected into the patient’s body to bind to the antigen on the surface area of the cancer cell and kill the cancer cell. Structurally, the co-stimulatory domain added to CAR T cells has now reached the 5th GEN of chimeric antigen receptor T cells. Chimeric antigen T cell immunotherapy is the first FDA-approved treatment for hematological malignancies that is both safe and effective. However, due to some challenges such as a lack of safety control, an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, ineffective T cell trafficking, and so on, CAR-T immunotherapy treatment for solid malignancy is still in the clinical phase. In the result and discussion, we have presented a survey of CAR T cell therapy with a combination of pharmacological drugs. The things we mentioned are that CAR T cell immunotherapy is innovative, suitable, elegant, and also controls synergistic anti-cancer effects. A better understanding of combinatory CAR T cell therapies provides fundamental information for improvement of those therapies, in addition to the article highlighting future opportunities, commercial advancements, and various applications of CAR T cell therapy in different cancer cells. In the entire review article, we have highlighted the neck and crop of CAR T cell therapy, from which it is easy to understand the therapy and the need for this therapy in cancer prevention and its progress.

The current study was conducted in the experimental field of the Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Faculty of Life Science, University of Development Alternative, Dhaka, Bangladesh during the winter season 2017-2018. The study was performed to reduce the heterotic effect and phenotypic correlation among numerous yield characters for F1 hybrids of hexaploid wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). The experimental design has consisted of six parental variants (Sonalika, Balaka, Prodip, Kanchan, Agrahani and Protiva), which were crossed and nine possible cross combinations (F1 hybrids) (Prodip × Agrahani, Balaka × Agrahani, Prodip × Protiva, Protiva × Agrahani, Agrahani × Kanchan, Kanchan × Sonalika, Protiva × Prodip, Sonalika × Agrahani, and Prodip × Kanchan) were obtained. The experimental fields were selected and arranged in a randomized complete block design with four replicates, where eight characters were studied. The mean square of the analysis of variance showed that the hybrids differed significantly (p ≤ 0.01) for all studied characters except for maturity to 75% of days and height of the plant, while the parents only had no differences in grain yield. The mean square of the parent and the F1 hybrid indicated that considerable heterosis existed in the F1 hybrids. In general, correlation coefficients indicated that the maturity to 75% of days was significant but negatively correlated with most of the yield traits, suggesting that the genotypes which became mature early may have lower yields. Plant height was also negatively correlated with grain spike−1, seed index, and harvest index. The grain yield plant−1 was significant and positively correlated with all yield traits. In the present study, a numerical investigation is carried out on the aerodynamic performance of a supercritical airfoil RAE 2822. Transonic flow fields are considered where self-excited shock wave oscillation prevails. To control the shock oscillation, a passive technique in the form of an open rectangular cavity is introduced on the upper surface of the airfoil where the shock wave oscillates. Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations have been used to predict the aerodynamic behavior of the baseline airfoil and airfoil with cavity at Mach number of 0.729 and at angle of attack of 5°. The aerodynamic characteristics of the baseline airfoil are well validated with the available experimental data. It is observed that the introduction of a cavity around the airfoil upper surface can completely stop the self-excited shock wave oscillation and successively improve the aerodynamic characteristics.

A Novel Approach of Dyeing Jute Fiber with Reactive Dye after Treating with Chitosan

Jute is generally not dyed with reactive dye though it is a cellulosic fiber. Reactive dye is extensively used to dye cotton, viscose and other cellulosic fibers whereas jute is dyed with basic dye. This paper presents a novel approach to dye the jute fiber with reactive dye after treating with chitosan. Jute fabric was treated with chitosan solution at different con- centrations (0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3% and 4%) and then dyed with reactive dye. The depth and fastness of shade of dyed fabric were analyzed by comparing the chitosan treated samples with untreated dyed fabric samples. It has been found that, the dyebath exhaustion is increased with the increment of chitosan concentrations. The exhaustion percentages have found 36.79%, 41.59%, 48.33%, 54.46% and 58.75% for the fabric treated with 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3% and 4% chitosan solution respectively, while the exhaustion of dyebath is only 23.15% for untreated fabric. The K/S values (at λmax = 540 nm) of dyed samples have found 4.93, 6.77, 10.5, 14.07, 15.57 and 2.37 for 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and untreated fabric respectively. The color fastness to washing and rubbing of the dyed fabrics was also evaluated. In case of dry rubbing, both types of fabric have shown almost similar fastness ratings. However, chitosan treated fabrics have shown inferior fastness rating in case of wet rubbing and washing, particularly for the fabrics at higher chitosan concentrations.

The fast growing market of mobile device adoption and cloud computing has led to exploitation of mobile devices utilizing cloud services. One major chal-lenge facing the usage of mobile devices in the cloud environment is mobile synchronization to the cloud, e.g., synchronizing contacts, text messages, imag-es, and videos. Owing to the expected high volume of traffic and high time complexity required for synchronization, an appropriate synchronization algo-rithm needs to be developed. Delta synchronization is one method of synchro-nizing compressed files that requires uploading the whole file, even when no changes were made or if it was only partially changed. In the present study, we proposed an algorithm, based on Delta synchronization, to solve the problem of synchronizing compressed files under various forms of modification (e.g., not modified, partially modified, or completely modified). To measure the effi-ciency of our proposed algorithm, we compared it to the Dropbox application algorithm. The results demonstrated that our algorithm outperformed the regular Dropbox synchronization mechanism by reducing the synchronization time, cost, and traffic load between clients and the cloud service provider.
