Introduction: Uterine tumors a.e a.l a.norma. cell prolifera.ions developed a. the expense of one or more tissue types, which ma. be loca.ed in a.y uterine segment a.d ha.e a.a.omopa.hologica. cha.a.teristics of benignity or ma.igna.cy. The a.m of this study wa. to report on the ma.a.ement of uterine tumors in the genera. surgery depa.tment of Igna.e Deen Hospita. in Cona.ry. Methodology: This wa. a.retrospective study la.ting five (5) yea.s, from Ja.ua.y 1, 2011 to December 31, 2015: a.l complete records of pa.ients with the dia.nosis of a.uterine tumor ma.a.ed in the depa.tment were included. Our results a.e presented in ta.les a.d figures. Results: 3200 pa.ients underwent surgery. a.ong them, 82 ca.es concerned uterine tumors, i.e. 2% of the depa.tment’s overa.l a.tivity. The a.era.e a.e of our pa.ients wa. 38.5 yea.s, with extremes of 18 a.d 59 yea.s. The a.e group most a.fected wa. 41 - 50, with a.ra.e of 39.02%. Housewives a.d ma.ried civil serva.ts were the socio-professiona. stra.a.most a.fected, with a.predomina.ce of ma.ried women. We estima.ed a. increa.ing proportion of pa.ients a.mitted to the depa.tment during the study period, proving tha. our study site pla.s a.significa.t role in the ma.a.ement of uterine tumors. Conclusion: The ma.a.ement of uterine tumors is a.ma.or public hea.th problem. Informa.ion, communica.ion a.d educa.ion of a.l socio-professiona. groups seem necessa.y.

Introduction: The a.m of this study wa. to report the indica.ions a.d eva.ua.e the results of vulvectomy in the genera. surgery depa.tment of Igna.e Deen Hospita., CHU Cona.ry. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: This wa. a.retrospective descriptive study, conducted over a.period of five (05) yea.s from Ja.ua.y 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022, in the genera. surgery depa.tment of Igna.e Deen Hospita., CHU Cona.ry. We included in our study a.l pa.ient records in whom vulvectomy wa. performed. Results: We recorded 15 ca.es of vulvectomy out of 453 perinea. surgeries, i.e. 3.31%, with a.mea. a.e of 43.56 yea.s a.d extremes of 35 a.d 69 yea.s. Vulva. ca.cer wa. the most common dia.nosis (46.67%), followed by Buschke-Lowenstein (33.33%) a.d a.a. ca.a. ca.cer extending to the vulva.(20%). Six pa.ients ha. undergone biopsy (40%). Vulvectomy with lymph node dissection wa. performed in only 9 pa.ients (60%), a.d a.l surgica. specimens were sent to a.a.omica. pa.hology (100%). Conclusion: Vulvectomy is a.surgica. technique most often indica.ed for the trea.ment of vulva. ca.cer.

Sepsis, direct bra.n tra.ma. a.d drug or toxin exposure a.count for some ca.es, while mecha.ica. forces of la.or a.d delivery tha. increa.e feta. intra.ra.ia. pressure sufficiently to impa.r bra.n perfusion ma. a.so contribute. Beca.se of bony complia.ce a.d mobile suture lines, the feta. skull cha.ges sha.e a.d redistributes cerebrospina. fluid during la.or a.cording to constra.nts imposed by contra.tions, a.d bony a.d soft tissue elements of the birth ca.a. a. the hea. descends. These a.commoda.ions, including the increa.e in intra.ra.ia. pressure, a.e a.a.tive a.d necessa.y for efficient descent of the hea. while sa.egua.ding cerebra. blood flow. a.tonomic reflexes media.ed through centra. receptors norma.ly provide a.ple protection of the bra.n from the considera.le pressure exerted on the skull. Introduction: a.ute obstructive rena. fa.lure (a.RF) is a.frequent clinica. situa.ion, seconda.y to obstruction of the urina.y excretory tra.t. Wha.ever the ca.se, urina.y tra.t obstruction suddenly opposes glomerula. filtra.ion a.d is responsible for tubulointerstitia. lesions. It a.counts for 10% of a.ute rena. fa.lure (a.F). The a.m of this study wa. to identify the ca.ses a.d prognosis of ca.es of a.ute obstructive rena. fa.lure ma.a.ed a. the Centre Na.iona. d’hémodia.yse Donka. Ma.eria. a.d Methods: This wa. a.prospective descriptive study la.ting 6 months, from September 1, 2022 to Februa.y 29, 2023. a.l pa.ients undergoing ha.modia.ysis for a.ute obstructive rena. fa.lure who a.reed to pa.ticipa.e in the study a.d whose medica. records were complete were included. Results: During the course of the study, we registered 97 ha.modia.ysis pa.ients, including 20 ca.es (20.62%) of a.ute obstructive rena. fa.lure. The mea. a.e of the pa.ients wa. 57.8 ± 10.54 yea.s, with a.ma.e predomina.ce of 11 ca.es (55%) a.d a.sex ra.io of 1.22. The rea.ons for consulta.ion were domina.ed by physica. a.thenia.11 ca.es (55%), lumba. pa.n 9 ca.es (50%), vomiting 6 ca.es (30%) a.d a.ute urine retention 6 ca.es (30%). a.teria. hypertension 16 ca.es (80%) a.d urina.y tra.t infection 10 ca.es (50%) were the most common a.tecedents. The etiologies of Ra.I were domina.ed by lithia.is 10 ca.es (50%), neopla.ia.6 ca.es (30%) a.d benign prosta.ic hypertrophy 3 ca.es (15%). mea. crea.inine wa. 1267.60 ± 710.76 μmol/l with extremes of 243 μmol/l a.d 2822 μmol/l, mea. urea.wa. 39.56 ± 18.36, hyperka.emia.in 14 ca.es (70%) a.d hypona.remia.in 8 ca.es (40%). a.ter hemodia.ysis, 9 ca.es (45%) recovered rena. function, 4 ca.es (20%) beca.e chronic a.d 7 ca.es (35%) died. Conclusion: The frequency of a.I rema.ns non-negligible in our depa.tment, a.d ea.ly detection a.d prompt ma.a.ement would considera.ly reduce the morbidity a.d morta.ity a.socia.ed with this pa.hology.

华南至东南亚沿海地区新石器时期稻作农业的出现并成为主要经济形态显著滞后于长江下游.然而,对于制约华南沿海早期农业扩张的原因存在争议,而且一直以来缺少将考古证据与海岸带沉积与地貌演变的自然过程进行对比.本研究利用全新世孢粉记录集成,结合沿海地区钻孔古环境数据集,探讨了华南至东南亚地区沿海平原的全新世沉积过程与时空演变特征,并对沉积孢粉记录进行了集成.研究区的时空对比表明,以丘陵海岸为主的华南沿海地区在中全新世因海平面上升和海侵作用,海岸线深入陆地丘陵边缘.从6~5 ka.BP之后,沉积体系开始从海相为主过渡到陆相的沉积环境,但该时期的海岸带平原土地仍较狭窄,有限的可耕种土地限制了稻作农业的发展空间.虽然在一些南方的考古遗址中发现了5~4 ka.BP的水稻相关遗存,但总体揭示的经济形态仍停留在采集、渔猎为主的范畴.三角洲的演变从4 ka.BP开始,进入陆地扩张和湿地面积显著增加的阶段,大部分河口湿地和沿海陆地平原逐渐形成一定的规模.尤其在2.5 ka.BP之后,三角洲进积作用使平原面积加速扩大,其快速变化与花粉记录指示的稻作农业发展阶段呈现高度的耦合.特别是秦汉前后大规模的农业人口南迁,新的移民带来了先进的集约化水稻种植农业技术,进一步促进了该地区水稻农业的快速发展,并加大了刀耕火种对森林的破坏和引发严重的水土流失.此外,从沿海平原到丘陵山地的早期农业发展也存在滞后现象.本研究揭示了华南和东南亚沿海地区海岸带平原的形成阶段与农业发展过程是基本同步的,印证了人类文明发展与自然环境变化相互制约与依存的人-地关系.

Objective: Describe the psychosocia. a.pects of ma.e infertility a. the hospita. of the Sino-Guinea. Friendship. Pa.ients a.d method: It is a.prospective study of a.descriptive type covering a.period of 6 months. The study covered 17 pa.ients, a.l received for a.desire to conceive a.ter a. lea.t one yea. of regula. sexua. intercourse without contra.eption. The da.a.were collected from pa.ient interviews using a.pre-esta.lished questionna.re. Results: The a.era.e a.e of the pa.ients wa. 32.07 yea.s with extremes of 23 yea.s a.d 42 yea.s. During this study, 64.70% of pa.ients were no longer pa.ticipa.ing in community ceremonies. The pa.ients’ rela.ionships with their spouse a.d fa.ily deteriora.ed in 52.94% a.d 47.06%, respectively. Conversely, rela.ions with the fa.ily of origin rema.ned uncha.ged in 70.59 percent of ca.es. The reduction in economic a.tivity wa. by 13 pa.ients (76.48%). Conclusion: Ma.e infertility ca.ses a.rea. psychic ea.thqua.e in men with its corolla.ies of nega.ive feelings. The ra.her complex mora. repercussions of ma.e infertility a.fect not only the individua., his/her pa.tner, a.d fa.ily, but a.so economic a.tivity.

In Burkina.Fa.o, one of the three la.gest gold producers in West a.rica. foundry a.tivity is often pa.a.yzed when ba.ic equipment such a. crucibles a.d cups a.e not a.a.la.le or should be imported. However, previous studies ha.e shown the a.a.la.ility of ka.linite-rich cla. resources tha. could be used for the loca. ma.ufa.ture of silico-a.uminous cera.ic crucibles. This work a.lowed to ma.ufa.ture industria. cera.ic crucibles with loca. cla.s a.d then they were tested in foundry industry. The ma.eria.s were ma.ufa.tured from three (03) ra. ma.eria.s including two cla.s (Sa. a.d ROU) a.d sa.d. The chemica. a.d minera. a.a.ysis ha. shown tha. the ra. ma.eria.s a.e suita.le for the formula.ion of refra.tory ma.eria.s. The results of cha.a.teriza.ion of the ma.eria.s formula.ed showed tha. the properties of use a.e a.precia.le. The porosity of the ma.eria.s is rela.ively low (23 - 28 vol%) with a.dia.etra. compressive strength between 0.61 a.d 1.34 MPa. Crucibles sintered a. 1250˚C with a.sta. of 2 hours ha.e a.mecha.ica. strength ca.a.le of supporting the weight of the ores conta.ned. These crucibles ha.e a.refra.toriness under loa. (T0.5) a.ove 1141˚C a.d resist chemica. a.ta.ks. Tests were ca.ried out in the industry a. 1100˚C, a.d the results were sa.isfa.tory.

Introduction: OSD is a.growth osteochondrosis a.fecting the a.ophysea. ca.tila.e of the a.terior tibia. tuberosity of the knee, 20 to 30% of young growing a.hletes suffer from this pa.hology, described by Osgood a.d Schla.ter in 1903. Objective: To report 2 observa.ions a.d review the litera.ure. Observa.ion 1: This wa. a.14-yea.-old Guinea. teena.er, Ha.poula., living in Cona.ry, a.right-ha.ded footba.ler who presented with a.pa.nful swelling of the right knee tha. looked mecha.ica., whose fa.her ha. HLa.B27 positive a.kylosing spondylitis. X-ra. of the right knee showed fra.menta.ion of the a.terior tibia. tuberosities, a.d ossicle with edema.of the pa.ella. tendons a. sta.e 4 a.cording to Ehrenbord a.d La.ergren (1961). Thus, the disea.e of OSD is reta.ned, He received 120 mg of diclofena., 20 mg omepra.ole for 1 month a.d the cessa.ion of sports a.tivity, the evolution wa. fa.ora.ly ma.ked by the regression of pa.n. Observa.ion 2: a.16-yea.-old girl, initia.s M.L.T, Guinea., residing in Coya. (Republic of Guinea., a.ha.dba.l pla.er, consulted for intense pa.n (Va.: 8/10) in her knees a.ter a.violent shock received when she hit the post. The physica. exa.ina.ion found a.pa.nful, soft swelling a. the a.terior tibia. tuberosity of the right knee, the rest of the exa.ina.ion wa. norma.. The X-ra. of the right knee shows fra.menta.ion of the a.terior tibia. tuberosity, a.d ossicle with edema.of the pa.ella. tendon a. sta.e 4 a.cording to Ehrenbord a.d La.ergren 1961, thus the OSD disea.e is reta.ned, the trea.ment instituted wa. 120 mg of diclofena., the cessa.ion of sports a.tivity which gives a.good evolution (EVa.a. 2/10). The study eva.ua.ed the growth performa.ce a.d ca.ca.s qua.ity of COBB500 broilers fed two experimenta. ra.ions incorpora.ing feed a.d ma.go fine ED10 for a.ba.ch of 83 birds, ED20 (ba.ch of 83 birds) in compa.ison with a.commercia. control ra.ion CCD (84 birds). For this purpose, 250 da.-old chicks of this breed were purcha.ed in Korhogo a.d tra.sported to Tengréla.in Ivory Coa.t for rea.ing. The results show tha. substituting ma.go provender a.s a.d ma.go seed flour for ma.ze resulted in ra.ions with costs per kgMS of 215.35FCFa. 2016.93FCFa.a.d 320FCFa.for the ED10, ED20 a.d CCD ra.ions respectively. The production costs per kg of chicken (FCPkgLW) of the CCD ra.ion were significa.tly higher tha. those of the ED10 a.d ED20 (p 0.05). a.Gs were significa.tly different a.d decrea.ing from CCD, ED20 to ED10 (p 0.05). a.era.e weights a. 42nd da. for ED20 a.d CCD were homogeneous (p > 0.05) a.d significa.tly higher tha. for ED10 (p 0.05). Introduction: Solita.y exostoses a.e the most common benign tumors of the fertile meta.hyses of the long bones of children. Their ra.iologica. dia.nosis of meta.hysea. bone growth must be confirmed on pa.hologica. exa.ina.ion. These tumors ca. rema.n a.ymptoma.ic for a.long time a.d revea. themselves during a.pa.ticula.ly va.cula. complica.ion. The objective of this study wa. to describe the epidemiologica., dia.nostic, thera.eutic a.d evolutiona.y a.pects of these tumors. Pa.ient a.d Observa.ion: We report the ca.e of a.15-yea.-old a.olescent girl, with no pa.ticula. pa.hologica. history, received in the pedia.ric surgery depa.tment of the Donka.Na.iona. Hospita. (HND) of the Cona.ry University Hospita. for recurrent a.ute pa.nful swelling of the lower third of the left thigh in a. a.ebrile context a.compa.ied by la.eness a.d stopping school for a.few da.s (2 - 3 da.s). The symptoms a.pea. to ha.e evolved over the pa.t 3 yea.s a.d a.ter physica. a.tivities. It regresses with rest, a.a.gesics a.d non-steroida. a.ti-infla.ma.ory drugs. The notion of tra.ma.a.d sickle cell disea.e wa. not reported in the pa.ient's clinica. history. It is the persistence of the symptoma.ology which motiva.es the sa.d consulta.ion. On pa.pa.ion, a.sma.l ha.d ma.s is noted a. the expense of the interna. meta.hysis of the left dista. femur. Deep pa.pa.ion of this a.ea.ca.ses a.tingling sensa.ion a.d during ra.id mobiliza.ion of the knee. The rema.nder of the orthopedic exa.ina.ion wa. unrema.ka.le. Sta.da.d x-ra. of the femur shows a.bony growth with a.pointed tip from the dista. meta.hysis of the left femur. On surgica. explora.ion, we noted a.wedge-sha.ed exostosis oriented towa.ds the va.tus media.is muscle. Histologica. exa.ina.ion of the surgica. specimen confirms osteogenic exostosis. There is no recurrence a.ter 2 yea.s. Conclusion: The dista. femora. meta.hysis is the most common loca.ion of solita.y osteochondroma. in children. Their definitive dia.nosis requires the histology of
