Marine sponges[Porifera]are the single best novel marine natural products,accountly for30%of all marine natural products discovered by *** oceans in South Australia have largely untapped resource of marine sponge with an estimated number over 800 species,which accounts for approximately over 58%species in *** aim of this study is to screen these untapped marine sponges in South Australian water for their anti-breast cancer ***-five marine sponge species were collected and subjected to crude apolar *** extracts were tested against three breast cancer cell lines（T47D,MCF7 and MDA-MB-231）using Crystal Violet assay.60%of crude apolar extracts showed cytotoxicity activity to these three breast cancer cell *** apolar extracts from five sponges（Tedania sp,Chondropsis ***,Chondropsis sp1,and Chondropsis sp2）have significant（p＜0.05）Cytotoxicity result compared with untreated *** IC50 values range between 12.43 to 25.89μg/ml（24h treatment）,2.03 to 12.92μg/ml（48h treatment）and 1.02 to 3.55μg/ml（72h treatment）.These apolar extracts showed significant（p＜0.05）difference on cancer cell lines compared to a normal breast cell lines 184B5（IC50:12.11 to 23.36μg/ml）at 48h *** cytometry was used to assess the induction of apoptosis and potential cell cycle *** extracts induced apoptosis at 10μg/ml in MCF7 and MDA-MB-231 cell lines,and arrest cell cycle in G1 and S phase compare with untreated cells.

This qualitative literature review aimed to describe the totality of peer-reviewed scientific evidence from 1990 to 2017 concerning validity of self-reported *** review included articles about mammography containing the words accuracy,validity,specificity,sensitivity,reliability or reproducibility;titles containing self-report,recall or patient reports,and breast or‘mammo’;and references of identified citations focusing on evaluation of 2-year *** 45 publications meeting the eligibility criteria,2 conducted in 1993 and 1995 at health maintenance organisations in Western USA which primarily served highly educated whites provided support for self-reports of mammography over 2 *** concerns about validity of self-reports included(1)telescoping,(2)biased overestimates particularly among black women,(3)failure to distinguish screening and diagnostic mammography,and(4)failure to address episodic versus consistent mammography *** current totality of evidence supports the need for research to reconsider the validity of self-reported mammography data as well as the feasibility of alternative surveillance data sources to achieve the goals of the Healthy People Initiative.
