A series of novel ethyl-7-（（1-（benzyl）-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl）methoxy）-2-oxo-2H-chromene-3-carboxylates 8a-h as potential antifungal agents were synthesized via click chemistry. The antifungal activity was evaluated against five human pathogenic fungal strains, such as Candida albicans, Fusarium oxysporum, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger and Cryptococcus neoformans. Compound 8c, 8d, 8e and 8h were found to be equipotent against C. albicans when compared with miconazole and compound 8f was found to be two-fold more active compared with miconazole and equipotent to fluconazole against ***. The coumarin-based triazole derivatives were also evaluated for antioxidant activity and compound 8a was found to be potent antioxidant when compared with standard drug. Furthermore,molecular docking study of the newly synthesized compounds was performed and results showed good binding mode in the active site of fungal C. albicans enzyme P450 cytochrome lanosterol 14 ademethylase. Moreover, the synthesized compounds were also analyzed for ADME properties and showed potential to build up as good oral drug candidates.

Alum （KAl（SOa）E.12H2O） is an inexpensive, efficient, non-toxic and mild catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of α-aminopho- sphonates. A three component reaction of an aldehyde/ketone, an amine and triethyl phosphite was carried out under solvent-free conditions to afford the corresponding α-aminophosphonates in short reaction times and high yields with the green aspects by avoiding toxic catalysts and solvents. 2009 Murlidhar S. A convenient synthesis of quino[2,3-b] [ 1,5]benzoxazepines from substituted 2-chloroquinoline-3-carbaldehyde and 2-hydroxy- aniline by using stable, non-toxic and inexpensive catalyst 1,8-diazabicyclo-undecan-7-ene （DbU）/silica gel is described. This method affords the quino[2,3-b][1,5]benzoxazepines under the influence of microwave irradiation （360 W） in solvent-free conditions within short reaction times （2-3 min）, giving high yields of products （93-96%）.

This report describes triethylammonium acetate （TEAA） ionic liquid catalyzed one pot synthesis of 6-amino-4-aryl-5-cyano-3- methyl-1-phenyl-1,4-dihydropyrano [2,3-c]pyrazoles by the reaction of aromatic aldehyde, malononitrile and 3-methyl-1-phenyl-2- pyrazolin-5-one at room temperature. TEAA plays dual role as reaction media and catalyst. It can also be easily recovered and reused in several runs. TEAA provides greener reaction protocol to present methodology which obviates the need of organic solvents, expensive and toxic catalyst.

A small focused library of eighteen new 1,2,3-triazole tethered acetophenones has been efficiently prepared via click chemistry approach and evaluated for their antifungal and antioxidant *** antifungal activity was evaluated against five human pathogenic fungal strains：Candida albicans,Fusarium oxysporum,Aspergillus flavus,Aspergillus niger,and Cryptococcus *** the synthesized compounds,9c,9i,and 9p found to be more potent antifungal agents that the reference *** 1,2,3-triazole based derivatives were also evaluated for antioxidant activity,and compound 9h was found to be the most potent antioxidant as compared to the standard ***,molecular docking study of the newly synthesized compounds was performed and results showed good binding mode in the active site of fungal *** enzyme P450 cytochrome ***,the synthesized compounds were also analyzed for ADME properties and showed potential as good oral drug candidates.

An efficient and greener protocol for the synthesis of poly functionalized pyridines using tetra-n-butyl ammonium fluoride （TbAF） in water is established. Remarkable advantages of the present synthetic strategy over the others are shorter reaction times, higher isolated yields, reuse of catalytic system, simple work-up procedure and more especially its applicability to heteryl and aliphatic aldehydes.

boric acid （bO3H3） is an inexpensive, efficient and mild catalyst for the synthesis of 1,1-diacetate （acylal） from the various aromatic and heteroaryl aldehydes with acetic anhydride at room temperature under solvent-free condition. The present method does not involve any hazardous organic solvents or catalysts. This method gives notable advantages such as excellent chemoselectivity, mild reaction condition, short reaction times and excellent yield.
