BACKGROUND Pipeline dredging agents are new household deep cleaning products used to dredge blockages in kitchen and bathroom pipeline caused by grease,hair,vegetable residue,paper cotton fibre,and other organic *** dredging agents are corrosive chemicals that can cause poisoning through corrosive damage to the digestive tract;however,this has not been reported ***,this report emphasises that oral pipeline dredging agent poisoning can cause corrosive damage to the digestive tract and may have serious health *** SUMMARY A 68-year-old man consumed liquor(200 m L) at approximately 13:00 on April 22,*** approximately 16:00,his family found him unresponsive with blackened lips,blood spots in the corners of the mouth,and blood stains on the ground,as well as an empty bottle of a pipeline dredging *** hour later,he was admitted to the emergency department of a local *** the empty bottle,he was suspected to have sustained severe corrosive damage to the digestive tract and was transferred to our department at 23:15 on April 22,*** developed dysphagia and intermittent fever and experienced difficulty in opening his mouth throughout his hospital *** patient’s condition gradually ***,he suddenly developed respiratory failure on day 12,and endotracheal intubation and ventilator-assisted ventilation were ***,the patient died after 1.5 h despite emergency rescue *** Pipeline dredging agents are highly corrosive and may cause corrosive damage to the digestive tract and asphyxia upon consumption.

Dear editor,University laboratory-related events include fire,explosion,chemical gas leakage,poisoning related to the loss of toxic reagents,specific pathogen infection,leakage of radioactive material,etc.[1]Chloroform is an important material used frequently in the laboratory,for organic synthesis or used as an organic glass binder and organic matter extractor.[2]As a widely used anesthetic in clinics in the 1950s and the 1960s,[3]chloroform was abandoned because of hepatorenal *** report a case of a 24-year-old suicidal female student with chloroform poisoning.

A composite was created by incorporating the quantum dot-enhanced SiO_(2)nanoparticles within this *** on this composite,a temperature-controlled fluorescent probe for DCP was developed.A meticulous examination of this probe revealed its attributes and factors affecting its *** using temperature modulation,the probe was adept at detecting DCP concentrations ranging between 1.0×10^(-6)and 9.0×10^(-6)mol/*** a probe offers remarkable selectivity,repeatability,and robust stability,so that the detection of DCP can be carried out at different temperatures,and a fast,reliable,sensitive and low-cost intelligent detection method is realized.

A pantograph serves as a vital device for the collection of electricity in ***,its aerodynamic resistance can limit the train’s running *** installing fairings around the pantograph is known to effectively reduce the resistance,in this study,different fairing lengths are considered and the related aerodynamic performances of pantograph are *** particular,this is accomplished through numerical simulations based on the k-ωShear Stress Transport(SST)two-equation turbulence *** results indicate that the fairing diminishes the direct impact of high-speed airflow on the pantograph,thereby reducing its aerodynamic ***,it also induces interferences in the flow field around the train,leading to variations in the aerodynamic resistance and lift of train *** is shown that a maximum reduction of 56.52%in pantograph aerodynamic resistance and a peak decrease of 3.38%in total train aerodynamic resistance can be achieved.

Nowadays,with the rapid development of quantitative remote sensing represented by high-resolution UAV hyperspectral remote sensing observation technology,people have put forward higher requirements for the rapid preprocessing and geometric correction accuracy of hyperspectral *** optimal geometric correction model and parameter combination of UAV hyperspectral images need to be determined to reduce unnecessary waste of time in the preprocessing and provide high-precision data support for the application of UAV hyperspectral *** this study,the geometric correction accuracy under various geometric correction models(including affine transformation model,local triangulation model,polynomial model,direct linear transformation model,and rational function model)and resampling methods(including nearest neighbor resampling method,bilinear interpolation resampling method,and cubic convolution resampling method)were ***,the distribution,number,and accuracy of control points were analyzed based on the control variable method,and precise ground control points(GCPs)were *** results showed that the average geometric positioning error of UAV hyperspectral images(at 80 m altitude AGL)without geometric correction was as high as 3.4041 m(about 65 pixels).The optimal geometric correction model and parameter combination of the UAV hyperspectral image(at 80 m altitude AGL)used a local triangulation model,adopted a bilinear interpolation resampling method,and selected 12 edgemiddle distributed *** correction accuracy could reach 0.0493 m(less than one pixel).This study provides a reference for the geometric correction of UAV hyperspectral images.

Gobi spans a large area of China,surpassing the combined expanse of mobile dunes and semi-fixed *** presence significantly influences the movement of sand and ***,the complex origins and diverse materials constituting the Gobi result in notable differences in saltation processes across various Gobi *** is challenging to describe these processes according to a uniform ***,it becomes imperative to articulate surface characteristics through parameters such as the three-dimensional(3D)size and shape of *** morphology information for Gobi gravels is essential for studying its genesis and sand *** enhance the efficiency and information yield of gravel parameter measurements,this study conducted field experiments in the Gobi region across Dunhuang City,Guazhou County,and Yumen City(administrated by Jiuquan City),Gansu Province,China in March 2023.A research framework and methodology for measuring 3D parameters of gravel using point cloud were developed,alongside improved calculation formulas for 3D parameters including gravel grain size,volume,flatness,roundness,sphericity,and equivalent grain *** multi-view geometry technology for 3D reconstruction allowed for establishing an optimal data acquisition scheme characterized by high point cloud reconstruction efficiency and clear ***,the proposed methodology incorporated point cloud clustering,segmentation,and filtering techniques to isolate individual gravel point *** point cloud algorithms,including the Oriented Bounding Box(OBB),point cloud slicing method,and point cloud triangulation,were then deployed to calculate the 3D parameters of individual *** systematic processes allow precise and detailed characterization of individual *** gravel grain size and volume,the correlation coefficients between point cloud and manual measurements all exceeded 0.9000,confirming the feasibility of the proposed methodol
