A propanetricarboxylic acid ornamented multi-CeⅢencapsulated phospho(Ⅲ)tungstate[H_(2)N(CH_(3))_(2)]_(4)Na_(4)H_(2)[Ce_(4)(HP)W_(4)(H_(2)0)_(14)(H_(2)PTCA)_(2)O_(18)][(HPⅢ)_(2)W_(22)O_(76)]·16H_(2)O(1,H_(3)PTCA=1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid)was obtained by a facile one-step reaction of Na_(2)WO_(4)·2H_(2)O,H_(3)PO_(3),Ce(NO_(3))·6H_(2)O,itaconic acid(H2ICA)and dimethylamine ***,the polyanion of 1 possesses a neotype[(HP^(Ⅲ))_(2)W_(22)O_(76)]12-fragment and an unusual[HP^(Ⅲ)W_(4)O_(18)]^(8-)unit bridge d by fourCe^(3+)centers in the assistance of two *** is worth emphasizing that two H2PTCA-ligands simultaneously chelate with WⅥand CeⅢ***,the composite of 1 and carboxyl-functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotube(CMCN)is utilized to modify glassy carbon electrode(GCE)to develop the 1@CMCN/GCE electrochemical *** 1@CMCN/GCE electrochemical sensor displays potential sensing property toward detection of noradrenaline(NDL)with low limit of 2.10μmo1·L^(-1).This research will powerfully facilitate continuous investigations on rational design and in-depth development of structure-oriented rare-earth inserted phospho(Ⅲ)tungstates and tremendously promote their application developments in drug testing,clinical diagnosis,and food detection.

The study of non-axisymmetric fuel dispersal and detonation can provide reference for the prevention of industrial cloud explosion accidents and the design of fuel air explosive(FAE).The concentration and detonation fields of 85 kg cylindrical and fan-shaped fuel are investigated by experiments and numerical simulations.A dynamic model of the whole process for fuel dispersal and detonation is *** concentration distribution of fuel is used as the initial condition to calculate the detonation stage,thus solving the initial value problem of detonation *** phase and component changes of fuel cloud at different locations are *** fuel cloud is divided into directions of 0°,90°,135°and 180°.The results show that the maximum cloud radius is 20.94 m in 135°and the minimum is 12.04 m in 0°.The diameter of the detonation fireball is 53.6 m,and the peak temperature is 3455 *** highest peak overpressure is 3.44 MPa in 0°and the lowest is 2.97 MPa in 135°.The proportion of liquid phase in 0°is22.90%,and the fuel loss is 11.8% and 9% higher than that in 135°and cylindrical charge,*** stable propagation distance of blast wave in 135°is 42.50% longer than 0°and 28.37% longer than cylindrical charge.

Recently,a Schwarz crystal structure with curved grain boundaries(GBs)constrained by twin-boundary(TB)networks was discovered in nanocrystalline Cu through experiments and atomistic *** Cu with nanosized Schwarz crystals exhibited high strength and excellent thermal ***,the grainsize effect and associated deformation mechanisms of Schwarz nanocrystals remain ***,we performed large-scale atomistic simulations to investigate the deformation behaviors and grain-size effect of nanocrystalline Cu with Schwarz *** simulations showed that similar to regular nanocrystals,Schwarz nanocrystals exhibit a strengthening-softening transition with decreasing grain *** critical grain size in Schwarz nanocrystals is smaller than that in regular nanocrystals,leading to a maximum strength higher than that of regular *** simulations revealed that the softening in Schwarz nanocrystals mainly originates from TB migration(or detwinning)and annihilation of GBs,rather than GB-mediated processes(including GB migration,sliding and diffusion)dominating the softening in regular *** analyses of simulation data further showed that compared with those in regular nanocrystals,the GB-mediated processes in Schwarz nanocrystals are suppressed,which is related to the low volume fraction of amorphous-like GBs and constraints of TB *** smaller critical grain size arises from the suppression of GB-mediated processes.

Cancer immunotherapy has rapidly become the fourth mainstream treatment alternative after surgery,radiotherapy,and chemotherapy,with some promising *** aims to kill tumor cells by mobilizing or stimulating cytotoxic immune ***,the clinical applications of tumor immunotherapies are limited owing to a lack of adequate delivery pathways and high ***,nanomaterials and genetic engineering have shown great potential in overcoming these limitations by protecting the delivery of antigens,activating targeted T cells,modulating the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment,and improving the treatment *** Calmette-Gué;rin(BCG)is a live attenuated Mycobacterium bovis vaccine used to prevent tuberculosis,which was first reported to have antitumor activity in *** therapy can activate the immune system by inducing various cytokines and chemokines,and its specific immune and inflammatory responses exert antitumor *** was first used during the 1970s as an intravesical treatment agent for bladder cancer,which effectively improved immune antitumor activity and prevented tumor *** recently,nano-BCG and genetically engineered BCG have been proposed as treatment alternatives for bladder cancer due to their ability to induce stronger and more stable immune *** this study,we outline the development of nano-BCG and genetically engineered BCG for bladder cancer immunotherapy and review their potential and associated challenges.

The recent report of room-temperature superconductivity at near-ambient pressure in nitrogen-doped lutetium hydride（Lu-H-N） by Dasenbrock-Gammon et al. [Nature 615, 244–250（2023）] has attracted tremendous attention due to its anticipated great impact on technology. However, the results could not be independently reproduced by other groups worldwide in follow-up studies, which elicited intense controversy. Here, we develop a reliable experimental protocol to minimize the extensively concerned extrinsic influences on the sample by starting the reaction from pure lutetium loaded with an H2/N2gas mixture in a diamond anvil cell under different pressures and temperatures and simultaneously monitoring the entire chemical reaction process using in situ four-probe resistance measurements. Therefore, we could repeatedly reproduce the near-room temperature upsurge of electrical resistance at a relatively early stage of the chemical reaction. However, the mechanism is suggested to be a metal-to-semiconductor/insulator transition associated with the structural modulation in the non-stoichiometric Lu-H-N, rather than superconductivity.

On the Preparation of Low-Temperature-Rise and Low-Shrinkage Concrete Based on Phosphorus Slag

The effects of different contents of a MgO expansive agent and phosphorus slag on the mechanical properties,shrinkage behavior,and the heat of hydration of concrete were *** slump flow,setting time,dry shrinkage,and hydration heat were used as sensitive parameters to assess the response of the considered *** shown by the results,in general,with an increase in the phosphorus slag content,the hydration heat of concrete decreases for all ages,but the early strength displays a downward trend and the dry shrinkage rate *** 90-d strength and dry shrinkage of concrete could be improved with a phosphorus residue content between 0%-20%,with the best performances in terms of mechanical properties and shrinkage characteristics being achieved for a content of 20 kg/m^(3).On the basis of these results,it can be concluded that appropriate amounts of phosphorus slag and MgO expansive agent can be used to improve the compressive strength of concrete in the later stage by reducing the hydration heat and dry shrinkage rate,respectively.

Development of metal oxide semiconductors-based methane sensors with good response and low power consumption is one of the major challenges to realize the real-time monitoring of methane *** this work,a self-assembled mulberry-like ZnO/SnO_(2)hierarchical structure is constructed by a two-step hydrothermal *** resultant sensor works at room temperature with excellent response of~56.1%to 2000 ppm CH_(4)at 55%relative *** is found that the strain induced at the ZnO/SnO_(2)interface greatly enhances the piezoelectric polarization on the ZnO surface and that the band bending results in the accumulation of chemically adsorbed O_(2)^(-)ions close to the interface,leading to significant improvement in the sensing performance of the methane gas sensor at room temperature.

The important supporting component in a gas turbine is the casing,which has the characteristics of large size,complex structure,and thin *** the context of existing 3DP sand casting processes,casting crack defects are prone to *** leads to an increase in the scrap rate of casings,causing significant resource ***,the presence of cracks poses a significant safety hazard after the casings are put into *** generation of different types of crack defects in stainless steel casings is closely related to casting stress and the high-temperature concession of the sand ***,the types and causes of cracks in stainless steel casing products,based on their structural characteristics,were systematically *** sand molds with different internal topology designs were printed using the 3DP technology to investigate the impact of sand mold structures on high-temperature *** optimal sand mold structure was used to cast casings,and the crack suppression effect was verified by analyzing its eddy current testing *** experimental results indicate that the skeleton structure has an excellent effect on suppressing cracks in the *** research holds important theoretical and engineering significance in improving the quality of casing castings and reducing production costs.

Alloying metals to form intermetallics has been proven effective in tuning the chemical properties of metal-based ***,intermetallic alloys can undergo structural and chemical transformations under reactive conditions,leading to changes in their catalytic *** and understanding these transformations are crucial for establishing relevant structureperformance relationships and for the rational design of alloy-based *** this work,we used CuZn alloy nanoparticles(NPs)as a model material system and employed in situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM)to investigate the structural and chemical changes of CuZn NPs under H_(2),O_(2)and their *** results show how CuZn NPs undergo sequential transformations in the gas mixture at elevated temperatures,starting with gradual leaching and segregation of Zn,followed by oxidation at the NP *** remaining copper at the core of particles can then engage in dynamic behavior,eventually freeing itself from the zinc oxide *** structural dynamics arises from an oscillatory phase transition between Cu and Cu_(2)O and is correlated with the catalytic water formation,as confirmed by in situ mass spectrometry(MS).Under pure H_(2)or O_(2)atmosphere,we observe different structural evolution pathways and final chemical states of CuZn NPs compared to those in the gas *** results clearly demonstrate that the chemical state of alloy NPs can vary considerably under reactive redox atmospheres,particularly for those containing elements with distinct redox properties,necessitating the use of in situ or detailed ex situ characterizations to gain relevant insights into the states of intermetallic alloy-based catalysts and structure-activity relationships.

The conversion of biomass into sugar platform compounds is very important for the biorefinery *** is essential to the biomass of the sugar platform,however,the lignin obtained by pretreatment,as a key part of lignocellulose,generally has a passive effect on the enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose into *** this study,p-TsOH(p-toluenesulfonic acid),DES(Deep eutectic solvent)and CAOSA(cooking with active oxygen and solid alkali)pretreatment ways were used to fraction lignin from bamboo *** CAOSA treatment,the hydrolysis efficiency of the pulp was 95.57%.Moreover,the effect of different treatment methods on lignin properties was studied and the promotion effect of lignin was investigated by adding it to the cellulose enzymatic hydrolysis *** this work,the results showed that CAOSA-extracted lignin with lower D(1.31-1.25)had a better adsorption effect on the enzyme protein.p-TsOH-extracted lignin with a larger S/G ratio enhanced the inhibition of enzymatic *** addition,the presence of-COOHs in lignin could reduce its inhibitory effect on cellulose saccharification.
