Background Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection has been spreading rapidly around the world,while“multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children”(MIS-C)is a new type of syndrome that has now been reported in many *** and different characteristics between KD and MIS-C have been reported in a variety of *** aimed to focus on reviewing clinical presentations,diagnosis,and treatment of KD and *** We searched articles in the electronic databases,including the Cochrane Library database,EMBASE,and MEDLINE with the keywords“multiple inflammatory syndrome”and/or“COVID-19”and/or“Kawasaki disease”and“children”.Results Main presentations of MIS-C and KD include fever,rashes,mucous membrane involvement,conjunctivitis,hands and feet erythema/edema,and cervical ***,compared with the highest incidence of KD among some Asian countries,MIS-C is common among Black and Hispanic ***-C is common in older children and teenagers,whereas classic KD is common in children under five years of *** symptoms,shock,and coagulopathy are common in MIS-C patients but are not common in classic *** manifestations are more common than KD,including myocarditis with cardiac dysfunction and coronary artery dilation or *** cases in MIS-C present with vasodilated or cardiogenic shock that requires fluid resuscitation,muscular support,and even mechanical ventilation and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO),whereas KD rarely presents with these manifestations and requires these *** serum ferritin,leukopenia,lymphopenia and thrombocytopenia are common in ***,thrombocytosis is a characteristic feature of *** immunoglobulin(IVIG)and moderate-high dose aspirin are still a standard recommended treatment for *** addition to the above-mentioned medications,steroids and biological drugs are frequently used in patients with *** of the chil

Orthostatic intolerance(OI)is defined as a syndrome consisting of a group of clinical symptoms including headache,dizziness,palpitation,chest tightness,nausea,vomiting,pale complexion,and even syncope due to the inability to tolerate the upright *** condition is relieved by recumbence[1,2].OI is common and affects the quality of life and the psychosocial well-being[3-5]Previous studies have shown that the pathogenesis of OI is mainly related to the enhanced endothelium-dependent diastolic function[6],abnormal Bezold-Jarisch reflex[7],central hypovolemia[8],and autonomic dysfunction[9].

Three viscotoxins have been isolated from Chinese mistletoe, Viscum coloratura （Kom.） Nakai. The primary structures were determined unambiguously by the combination of Edman degradation, endoproteinase Elu-c digestion, and Q-TOF mass spectrometry. One was identified as viscotoxin C1, which was for the first time isolated from Chinese mistletoe. The other two were new polypeptides, named as viscotoxin B5 and viscotoxin B8. Pharmacological studies showed that the polypeptides exhibit distinct cytotoxicity to human cancer cells.

Orthostatic intolerance(OI)is characterized by symptoms and signs of dizziness,headache,visual difficulties,a loss of consciousness,nausea,abdominal discomfort,pallor,tachycardia or hypotension;and OI is primarily elicited by a rapid postural change from supine to standing or prolonged quiet standing which can be resolved by lying down[1,2].About 15%of children and adolescents are affected by OI,with the median peak age of the first OI onset at 15 years[3].OI accounts for a noticeable proportion of emergency department *** or indeliberately,the injection of normal saline always plays a role,which“rescues”the *** or occasional episodes of OI are often overlooked by some patients;and children with recurrent OI symptoms often experience depression,and have diminished quality of life。

In children and adolescents,syncope is common and accounts for a considerable proportion of emergency *** underlying diseases of pediatric syncope mainly include neurally mediated syncope(NMS)and cardiogenic *** accounts for 70–80%of pediatric syncopal cases,and one of the most common forms is vasovagal syncope(VVS)[1–3].In children with VVS,owing to the impairment of the barorefex integrity,the sympathetic system usually becomes overexcited after the change in position,leading to forceful contractions of a relatively empty ventricle and fnally causing a sympathetic withdrawal and an increased vagal activity.A relatively insufcient central volume,excessive vasodilation of peripheral vessel,autonomic nervous dysfunction,and neurohormonal disturbance may be aggravating ***,the efectiveness of previously unselected treatments for VVS has not been *** such,a comprehensive assessment of the clinical characteristics,pathogenesis,and biochemical markers is needed to select the corresponding *** individualized treatment for VVS was proposed,several improvements have been made in the feld.
