Additive manufacturing(AM)is gaining traction in the manufacturing industry for the fabrication of components with complex geometries using a variety of *** laser melting(SLM)is a common AM technique that is based on powder-bed fusion(PBF)to process metals;however,it is currently focused only on the fabrication of macroscale and mesoscale *** paper reviews the state of the art of the SLM of metallic materials at the microscale *** comparison with the direct writing techniques that are commonly used for micro AM,micro SLM is attractive due to a number of factors,including a faster cycle time,process simplicity,and material versatility.A comprehensive evaluation of various research works and commercial systems for the fabrication of microscale parts using SLM and selective laser sintering(SLS)is *** addition to identifying existing issues with SLM at the microscale,which include powder recoating,laser optics,and powder particle size,this paper details potential future directions.A detailed review of existing recoating methods in powder-bed techniques is conducted,along with a description of emerging efforts to implement dry powder dispensing methods in the AM domain.A number of secondary finishing techniques for AM components are reviewed,with a focus on implementation for microscale features and integration with micro SLM systems.

A study on the effect of using mangrove leaf extracts as a feed additive in the progress of bacterial infections in marine ornamental fish

Objective:To ascertain the feasibility of using sustainable natural resources in maintaining disease free fish in such ***:causative bacteria were identified by morphology and biochemical *** antibacterial activity and disease resistant capability of mangrove plant leaf extract were investigated against fish ***:The infected marine ornamental fishes were collected from the hatchery condition and inhibition activity at the concentration of 220,200,175 and 150μg/mL against Pseudomonas fluorescens,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Vibrio parahaemolyticus,and Vibrio anguillarum *** experimental trial reveals feeding marine ornamental fish with feed incorporated with a methanol leaf extract of Avicennia marina,increases their survival and reduces their susceptibility to infections from the isolated *** on the in vitro assay,methanol extract of Avicennia marina was exhibited good Conclusions:The mangrove leaves have potential to control the infections caused by Pseudomonas fluorescens,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Vibrio anguillarum.

Burn-Up Measurements on Dissolver Solution of Mixed Oxide Fuel Using HPLC-Mass Spectrometric Method

Burn-up measurement on an irradiated mixed oxide (MOX) test fuel pellet was carried out through measurements on the dissolver solution by HPLC-Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometric (TIMS) technique. The studies carried out using HPLC as well as TIMS for quantification of burn-up value are described. While in one case, both the separation and determination of elements of interest (U, Pu and Nd) were carried out by HPLC;in another case, TIMS technique was used to quantify them from the HPLC separated *** rapid separation procedures developed in our laboratory earlier were employed to isolate pure fractions of the desired elements. The individual lanthanide fission products (La to Eu) were separated from each other using dynamic ion-exchange chromatographic technique whereas uranium and plutonium were separated from each other using reversed phase chromatographic technique. The pure fractions of U, Pu and Nd obtained after HPLC separation procedure for “spiked” and “unspiked” dissolver solutions were used in TIMS measurements for the first time in our laboratory. In TIMS analysis, isotopic abundances of uranium, plutonium and neodymium fractions obtained from HPLC separation procedure on an “unspiked” fuel sample were measured. For the determination of U, Pu and Nd by isotopic dilution mass spectrometric technique (IDMS), known quantities of tracers enriched in 238U, 240Pu and 142Nd were added to the pre-weighed dissolver solution and subjected to HPLC separation procedures. The isotope ratios viz. 142Nd/(145Nd +146Nd), 238U/233U and 240Pu/239Pu in the pertinent “spiked” fractions were subsequently measured by TIMS. The spikes were pre-standardized in our laboratory employing reverse isotopic dilution technique against the standard solutions available in our laboratory (for 238U, 239Pu and 142Nd, standard solutions of 233U, 239Pu (of higher abundance than in the sample) and 150Nd were employed as spikes). 目的:评价和比较腹腔结核6个月短程化疗与12个月标准疗程的治疗效果。设计和对象:共193名确诊腹腔结核的成年病人随机分配到2个不同的每日治疗方案中:1)6个月短程化疗组,前2个月使用利福平、异烟肼和吡嗪酰胺,后4个月使用利福平和异烟肼(简称6R组),2)12个月标准疗程组,使用乙胺丁醇和异烟肼以及为期2周的链霉素补充治疗(简称12E组)。仅对疑及肠梗阻和肠穿孔的病人施行手术。结果:除30人因各种原因退出外,总共对163人(6R组85人,12E组78人)进行了疗效分析。治疗结束时临床状态恢复正常者6R组有84人(99％),12E组有73人(94％)。其中147人随访5年,无一因腹腔结核复发而需要治疗。结论:在治疗各型腹腔结核中6个月短疗程化疗组的疗效与12个月标准疗程组同样有效。
