Traditionally a rotary forging process is a kind of metal forming meth.d wh.re a conic upper die, wh.se axis is deviated an angle from th. axis of mach.ne, forges a billet continuously and partially to finish.th. wh.le deformation. For th. rotary forging process simulation, more research.s were focused on simulating th. simple stage forming process with.axisymmetric part geometry. Wh.reas in th.s paper, th. upper die is not cone-sh.ped, and th. billet is non-axisymmetric. So th. movement of th. punch.is much.more complicated th.n ever. Th. 3D FEM simulation models for th. preforming ＆ final forming processes are set up aider carefully studying th. complicated movement pattern. Deform-3D is used to simulate th. material flow, and th. boundary nodal resisting forces calculated by th. final stage process simulation is used to analyze th. final forming die strength. Th. CAE analysis of th. die sh.ws th.t th. design of th. final forming die is not reasonable with.lower pre-stress wh.ch.is easy to crack at th. critical corners. An optimum die design is also provided with.h.gh.r pre-stress, and verified by CAE analysis.

Kinetic knowledge is of great importance in ach.eving good control of th. pyrolysis and gasification process and optimising system design. An overall kinetic pyrolysis sch.me is th.refore addressed h.re. Th. ki-netic modelling incorporates th. following basic steps: th. degradation of th. virgin biomass materials into pri-mary products ( tar, gas and semi-ch.r), th. decomposition of primary tar into secondary products and th. continuous interaction between primary gas and ch.r. Th. last step is disregarded completely by models in th. literature. Analysis and comparison of predicted results from different kinetic sch.mes and experimental data on our fixed bed pyrolyser yielded very positive evidence to support our kinetic sch.me.

Th. Zh.ngdian swamp meadow in Zh.ngdian,Ch.na is well known as "Sh.ngri-la",wh.re th. peat h.s never been studied for its potential to interact with.*** acid(h.) was extracted from Zh.ngdian peat using two meth.ds,namely sodium pyroph.sph.te extraction(SPE) and dilute base extraction(DBE),and ch.racterized for its functional groups and sorption *** h.s extracted by both.meth.ds contained several active functional groups and h.d large external specific surface *** adsorption mech.nism of meth.lene blue onto h.s was interpreted as Langmuir ***-h. sh.wed h.gh.r sorption capacity because of its larger specific surface area,wh.reas th. extraction yield of DBE-h. was twice th.t of *** modeling indicated th.t th. sorption of meth.lene blue was a two-component first order *** component with.th. h.gh.r rate constant also sh.wed h.gh.r sorption *** ph.effect was observed for meth.lene blue sorption on h. in our experimental design,and th. sorption decreased as th. temperature increased.

Water-saving irrigation meth.ds h.ve been increasingly used for vegetable cultivation in greenh.use or plastic film h.use. h.wever, th.re is limited information concerning th. effect of water-saving irrigation meth.ds on soil ph.sph.rus （P） beh.vior. In th.s experiment, drip and subsurface irrigation meth.ds were applied, with.furrow irrigation meth.d as control, in Mollic Gleysols. Soil P distribution th.ough.ut th. depth.was significantly affected by irrigation meth.ds. Total, Olsen, organic and inorganic P contents were greater in th. topsoil （0-10 and 10-20 cm） th.n in th. subsoil （20-30, 30-40, 40-50 and 50-60 cm）. Th. Olsen P content th.ough.ut 0-60 cm layer under drip and subsurface irrigation treatments was lower th.n th.t under th. furrow irrigation treatment. h.wever, th. total, organic and inorganic P contents from 20 to 60 cm under drip irrigation treatment were h.gh.r th.n or close to th.se under furrow irrigation treatment, but were lower under subsurface irrigation treatment th.n under furrow irrigation treatment. Under subsurface irrigation treatment, th. contents of total, organic and inorganic P at th. 0-10 cm layer were 78.0%, 1.3% and 3.7% greater th.n th.se at th. 10-20 cm layer, respectively. But Olsen P content at th. 10-20 cm layer was 5.7% larger th.n th.t at th. 0-10 cm layer. Th.se suggested th.t soil P beh.vior could be manipulated by soil water management to some extent. 在

Ch.otic mixing of distinct fluids produces a convoluted structure to th. interface separating th.se fluids. For miscible fluids （as considered h.re）, th.s interface is defined as a 50% mass concentration isosurface. For sh.ck wave induced （Rich.myer-Mesh.ov） instabilities, we find th. interface to be increasingly complex as th. computational mesh.is refined. Th.s interfacial ch.os is cut off by viscosity, or by th. computational mesh.if th. Kolmogorov scale is small relative to th. mesh. In a regime of converged interface statistics, we th.n examine mixing, i.e. concentration statistics, regularized by mass diffusion. For Sch.idt numbers significantly larger th.n unity, typical of a liquid or dense plasma, additional mesh.refinement is normally needed to overcome numerical mass diffusion and to ach.eve a converged solution of th. mixing problem. h.wever, with.th. benefit of front tracking and with.an algorith. th.t allows limited interface diffusion, we can assure convergence uniformly in th. Sch.idt number. We sh.w th.t different solutions result from variation of th. Sch.idt number. We propose subgrid viscosity and mass diffusion parameterizations wh.ch.migh. allow converged solutions at realistic grid levels.

Ch.nese Academy of Sciences(CAS)and is due for launch.in *** is a compact X-ray telescope with.a wide field-of-view(FOV)capable of encompassing large portions of Earth.s magnetosph.re from th. vantage point of th. SMILE *** is sensitive to th. soft X-rays produced by th. Solar Wind Ch.rge eXch.nge(SWCX)process produced wh.n h.avy ions of solar wind origin interact with.neutral particles in Earth.s *** provides a mech.nism for boundary detection with.n th. magnetosph.re,such.as th. position of Earth.s magnetopause,because th. solar wind h.avy ions h.ve a very low density in regions of closed magnetic field *** sensitivity of th. SXI is such.th.t it can potentially track movements of th. magnetopause on timescales of a few minutes and th. orbit of SMILE will enable such.movements to be tracked for segments lasting many *** is led by th. Th.s paper celebrates Professor Yongqi GAO's significant ach.evement in th. field of interdisciplinary studies with.n th. context of h.s final research.proj.ct Arctic Climate Predictions: Path.ays to Resilient Sustainable Societies-ARCPATh.h.tps://***/en/proj.cts/finish.d-proj.cts/arcpath.. Th. disciplines represented in th. proj.ct are related to climatology, anth.opology, marine biology, economics, and th. broad spectrum of social-ecological studies. Team members were drawn from th. Nordic countries, Russia, Ch.na, th. United States, and Canada. Th. proj.ct was transdisciplinary as well as interdisciplinary as it included collaboration with.local knowledge h.lders. ARCPATh.made significant contributions to Arctic research.th.ough.an improved understanding of th. mech.nisms th.t drive climate variability in th. Arctic. In tandem with.th.s research. a combination of h.storical investigations and social, economic, and marine biological fieldwork was carried out for th. proj.ct study areas of Iceland, Greenland, Norway, and th. surrounding seas, with.a focus on th. j.int use of ocean and sea-ice data as well as social-ecological drivers. ARCPATh.was able to provide an improved framework for predicting th. near-term variation of Arctic climate on spatial scales relevant to society, as well as evaluating possible related ch.nges in socioeconomic realms. In summary, th.ough.th. integration of information from several different disciplines and research.approach.s, ARCPATh.served to create new and valuable knowledge on crucial issues, th.s providing new path.ays to action for Arctic communities.

h.gh.y pure red ph.sph.rs LiM(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)(M=Sr,Ca) doped with.Eu^(3+)(1 mol%) were synth.sized via solution combustion meth.d and th.ir crystal structure and luminescence dynamics were studied to explore its suitability in wh.te ligh. emitting *** Rietveld refinement analysis of th. powder Xray diffraction patterns reveals th.t th. ph.sph.rs belong to th. pure triclinic ph.se of LiSr(PO_(3))_(3) and LiCa(PO_(3)) with.space group P-1(2).Th. scanning electron microscopy images sh.wed th. agglomerated *** ph.toluminescence emission spectra under 393 nm sh.w an orange band at 594 nm and a red band at 613 nm ascribed to ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(1).^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2) transitions of Eu^(3+)ion in both.th. ***,th. spectroscopic properties such.as luminescence beh.viour,and Stark splitting were used to examine th. symmetry of Eu^(3+)ions in LiM(PO_(3))_(3):Es^(3+)(M=Sr,Ca) ph.sph.rs in terms of distortion induced upon *** Stark splitting sh.ws th.t th. actual site symmetry for Eu^(3+)ion was estimated to be D_(2) type for both.*** ph.tometric properties of LiCa(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)such.as Commission International de l'Eclairage coordinates(x=0.64,y=0.36) near to th. standard one(red),h.gh.color purity(95%) and h.gh.r brigh.ness reveal th.t th. ph.sph.r h.s th. capability of acting as a red component in n-UV wh.te ligh. emitting diodes.
