Medialan has preferable flotation performance to wolframite,under the conditions of the best flotation pH value 7.0 and low dosage,wolframite recovery is up to80%.Medialan shows poor flotation performance to quartz,but better to fluorite and ***,fluorite and calcite are inhibited in a certain degree by adding medialan mixed with sodium *** mechanism of medialan collector on wolfram surface was also studied by using infrared(IR)radiation spectrum,adsorption volume,and zeta *** results show that medialan can adsorb on wolfram surface in the form of chemistry adsorption,and as medialan collector dosage changes,change law of adsorption volume is similar with that of wolfram pure mineral *** potential results prove that zeta potential of wolfram surface moves negatively after adsorbing medialan collector.

Intergenerational conflict coordination is the fundamental requirement and core of sustainable development. In this paper, through the analysis of the future generations-oriented management mechanisms for intergenerational conflict, the idea of mechanisms and institution building for the coordination and management of intergenerational conflict is put forward. Furthermore, the future generations-oriented virtual negotiation support system (NSS) for intergenerational conflict is developed, built on the analysis of the process simulation of intergenerational wealth transfer, intergenerational equilibrium allocation of resources, and strategies for the mitigation and avoidance of intergenerational conflict, through the application of advanced IT technology. The virtual NSS for intergenerational conflict is helpful to the practical application of the sustainable development theory; on the other hand, it can be applied directly to the intergenerational equilibrium allocation of resources, national economic accounting, formulation of sustainable development strategies and other urgent national economic and social development issues. Finally, the sustainable development theory can be enriched and extended. Therefore, the development of the future generations-oriented virtual NSS for intergenerational conflict has certain theoretical and practical effects on the theory of sustainable development.

The spatiotemporal evolution of the M9.0 Tohoku earthquake sequence off the East Coast of Honshu in Japan on March 11,2011 and precursive seismic activity near the Japan Trench show that the earthquake sequence has foreshock-main shock-aftershock *** foreshock sequence is characterized by a concentrated spatial distribution,low b value and the same focal *** an hour after the main shock,the two greatest aftershocks,with magnitudes of M7.9 and M7.7,occurred,followed by a rapid reduction in the strength of *** aftershock activity was enhanced roughly two weeks and one month after the main *** great earthquake ruptured *** hours after the main shock,the aftershock zone extended over a range that was 500 km in length and 300 km in width.A day later,the long axis of the aftershock area had expanded to about 600 *** years prior to the 2011 earthquake,the seismicity in the location of the seismic source for this event enhanced significantly,with the extent of this area of enhanced seismicity being roughly equivalent to the aftershock zone.

Identification and Preliminary Analysis of Several Centromere-associated bacterial Artificial Chromosome Clones from a Diploid Wheat Library

Although the centromeres of some plants have been investlgated prevlously, our knowledge of the wheat centromere Is still very llmlted. To understand the structure and functlon of the wheat centromere, we used two centromeric repeats （RCS1 and CCS1-5ab） to obtain some centromere-assoclated bacterial artificial chromosome （bac） clones in 32 RCS1-related bac clones that had been screened out from a diploid wheat （Triticum boeoticum Boiss.; 2n=2x=14） bac library. Southern hybridization results indicated that, of the 32 candidates, there were 28 RCS1-positive clones. Based on gel blot patterns, the frequency of RCS1 was approximately one copy every 69.4 kb in these 28 RCS1-positive bac clones. More bands were detected when the same filter was probed with CCS1-5ab. Furthermore, the CCS1 bands covered all the bands detected by RCS1, which suggests that some CCS1 repeats were distributed together with RCS1. The frequency of CCS1 families was once every 35.8 kb, nearly twice that of RCS1. Fluorescence in situ hybridization （FISH） analysis Indicated that the five bac clones containing RCS1 and CCS1 sequences all detected signals at the centromerlc regions in hexaplold wheat, but the signal intensities on the A-genome chromosomes were stronger than those on the B- and/or Dgenome chromosomes. The FISH analysis among nine Triticeae cereals indicated that there were A-genomespecific （or rich） sequences dispersing on chromosome arms in the bac clone TbbacS. In addition, at the interphase cells, the centromeres of diploid species usually clustered at one pole and formed a ring-like allocation In the period before metaphase.

Acyl-coenzyme A （Acyl-CoA） desaturases play a key role in the biosynthesis of female moth sex pheromones. Desaturase genes are encoded by a large multigene family, and they have been divided into five subgroups on the basis of biochemical functionality and phylogenetic affinity. In this study both copy numbers and transcriptional levels of desaturase genes in the European corn borer （ECB）, Ostrinia nubilalis, were investigated. The results from genome-wide screening of ECB bacterial artificial chromosome （bac） library indicated there are many copies of some desaturase genes in the genome. An open reading frame （ORF） has been isolated for the novel desaturase gene ECB ezi-A11~ from ECB gland complementary DNA and its functionality has been analyzed by two yeast expression systems. No functional activities have been detected for it. The expression levels of the four desaturase genes both in the pheromone gland and fat body of ECB and Asian corn borer （ACB）, O. furnacalis, were determined by real-time polymerase chain reaction. In the ECB gland, All is the most abundant, although the amount of A14 is also considerable. In the ACB gland, A14 is the most abundant and is 100 times more abundant than all the other three combined. The results from the analysis of evolution of desaturase gene transcription in the ECB, ACB and other moths indicate that the pattern of A 11 gene transcription is significantly different from the transcriptional patterns of other desaturase genes and this difference is tied to the underlying nucleotide composition bias of the genome.

Decomposition of acid dissolved titanium slag from Australia by sodium hydroxide

The kinetics of the decomposition of acid dissolved titanium slag with a sodium hydroxide system under atmospheric pressure was studied. The effect of reaction temperature, particle size and NaOH-to-slag mass ratio on titanium extraction was investigated. The results show that temperature and particle size have significant influence on titanium extraction. The experimental data of titanium extraction show that the shrinking core model with chemical reaction controlled process is most applicable for the decomposition of slag, with an apparent activation energy of 62.4 ***^-1. Approximately 85 wt.%-90 wt.% of the titanium can be extracted from the slag under the optimal conditions. In addition, the purity of titanium dioxide obtained in the product is up to 98.5 wt.%.

The ability of psammophyte(a plant that grows in sand or sandy soil) to withstand and recover from severe droughts is crucial for desertification control and restoration of degraded vegetation in semi-arid sandy land in northern *** of the photo-synthetic gas exchange and chlorophyll fluorescence of an annual(Setaria viridis) were measured through three cycles of soil drying and *** showed that the net photosynthesis rate(Pn) decreased by 95 percent,91 percent,and 61 percent at end of three drought periods;the stomatal conductance(gs) decreased by 72 percent,73 percent,and 53 percent;the transpiration rate(Tr) decreased by 70 percent,69 percent,and 37 percent;and water-use efficiency(WUE) decreased by 83 percent,69 percent,and 38 *** the same time,the trapping probability with no dark adaptation(FV'/FM') decreased by 70 percent,12 percent,and 10 percent,while the electron transport per cross-section(ET0'/CS'0) decreased by 80 percent,45 percent,and 13 *** intercellular CO2(Ci) increased by 1.77,1.02,and 0.66 times,and the dissipation per cross-section(DI0'/CS0') increased by 98 percent,28 percent,and 22 *** results indicated that *** was subjected to photoinhibition and some nonstomatal limitation of photosynthesis under ***,the above photosynthetic characteristics were restored to control values after three or four days of *** capability to recover from drought may contribute to the plant's use of water as efficiently as ***,during the subsequent drought spells,suppression of Pn,gs,Tr,FV'/FM',and ET0'/CS0' decreased or slowed down following the drying and rewatering alternations,especially in the third drought spell.

Impacts of Secondary Aerosols on a Persistent Fog Event in Northern China

The chemistry version of the Weather Re- search and Forecasting model （WRF/Chem） was coupled with the anthropogenic emission inventory of David Streets to investigate the impacts of secondary aerosols on a persistent fog event from 25 to 26 October 2007, in Northem China. The spatial distribution of the simulated fog is consistent with satellite observations, and the time-height distributions of the simulated boundary layer where the fog formed are also in good agreement with these observations. The sensitivity studies show that the secondary aerosols of SO4, NO3, and NH4 formed from gaseous precursors of SO2, NOx, and NH3 had substantial impacts on the formation processes and microphysical structure of the fog event. The decrease of the secondary aerosols obviously reduced the liquid water path and column droplet number concentration of the fog below the 1-km layer, and the corresponding area-averaged liquid water path and droplet number concentration of the fog decreased by 43% and 79%, respectively. The concentra- tions of NOx and NO3 were found to be extremely high in this case. The concentration of interstitial aerosol NO3 was much higher than the SO4 and NH4, but the concentration of SO4 was highest in the cloud-borne aerosols. The average activation ratios for SO4, NO3, and NH4 were 34%, 31%, and 30%, respectively, and the maximum ra- tios reached 62%, 86%, and 55% during the fog episode.

The economic benefits of transport infrastructure investment have been widely ***,the varying influence of road transport development across vertical space has rarely been *** Sichuan province in China as case study area where the landform is diverse and complex,administrative counties were categorized into 4 main types:plain counties,hill counties,mountain counties,and plateau *** statistical data during 2006-2014,theperformanceofeconomic development and transport construction level in the four types of counties are ***,the heterogeneous effect of each grade road on economy was calculated by local regression model(GWR).The results indicate that plain counties largely surpassed the other geomorphic counties in economic development level,while the gradient gap among them was on the ***,distribution of transport infrastructure presented a decreasing trend from the low plain counties to high plateau *** imbalances were mainly reflected in the County road and Village *** the changes of regional gaps,National&Provincial roads and County roads were constantly expanding,whereas the disparity of Village road was slowly narrowing over *** noteworthy was the non-stationary economic influence of traffic factors across vertical *** average,National&Provincial roads generated higher benefits in the high elevation regions than the *** contrast,County road and Village road were found to be more effective in promoting economic development in *** regard to local estimates of traffic factors,coefficients in mountain counties exhibited larger fluctuation ranges than other geomorphic *** conclusions provide a basis for government decisionmaking in a more reasonable construction arrangement of road facilities and sustainable economic development.
