The world is rapidly changing with the advance of information *** expansion of the Internet of Things(IoT)is a huge step in the development of the smart *** IoT consists of connected devices that transfer *** IoT architecture permits on-demand services to a public pool of *** computing plays a vital role in developing IoT-enabled smart *** integration of cloud computing enhances the offering of distributed resources in the smart *** management of security requirements of cloud-assisted IoT systems can bring about risks to availability,security,performance,condentiality,and *** key reason for cloud-and IoT-enabled smart city application failure is improper security practices at the early stages of *** article proposes a framework to collect security requirements during the initial development phase of cloud-assisted IoT-enabled smart city *** three-layered architecture includes privacy preserved stakeholder analysis(PPSA),security requirement modeling and validation(SRMV),and secure cloud-assistance(SCA).A case study highlights the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed framework.A hybrid survey enables the identication and evaluation of signicant challenges.

The influence of substrate temperature and nozzle-to-substrate distance（NSD） on the structural,morphological, optical and electrical properties of Sb：SnO_2 thin films prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis has been *** structural,morphological,optical and electrical properties were characterized by using XRD,SEM, UV-visible spectrophotometry and Hall effect measurement *** was seen that the films are polycrystalline, having a tetragonal crystal structure with strong orientation along the（200） *** pyramidal crystallites formed due to coalescence were observed from SEM *** values of highest conductivity,optical transmittance and figure of merit of about 1449（Ω·cm）^（-1）,70%and 5.2×10^（-3）□/Ω,respectively,were observed for a typical film deposited using optimal conditions（substrate temperature = 500℃and NSD = 30 cm）.

Objective:To investigate the anxiolytic activity of newly isolated compound by our lab called ursolic acid stearoyl glucoside(UASG) from the leaves of Lantana camam(L camam).Methods: Column chromatography was used to isolate *** potential was experimentally proved and demonstrated through Elevated plus-maze,Open field and light and dark test. Results:The UASG showed marked increased in time spent(%) and number of frequent movements made by animals in open arm of elevated plus-maze *** light and dark model,UASG produced marked increase in time spent by animal,number of crossing and reduced duration of immobility in light ***:UASG showed significant increase in number of rearing,assisted rearing and number of square crossed in open field established test *** showed its anxiolytic effect in dose dependent manner.

Joint iterative compressed sensing algorithm eliminating clipping noise in underwater acoustic communication system

Due to the intricacy characteristics of the Underwater Acoustic（UWA） channel especially the limited bandwidth, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing（OFDM） is used because of its high spectrum efficiency. However, relatively high Peak-to-Average-Power Ratio（PAPR） limits the efficiency of OFDM in UWA communication, leading to saturation in the power amplifier and consequent distortion of the signal. Clipping and C companding as the most classic and convenient algorithms, are widely applied to address the high PAPR issue. However clipping introduces additional noise which degrades the system＇s performance and traditional C companding is also not suitable for underwater acoustic field. Thus, an improved C companding combined with clipping is proposed here. Due to the sparseness of clipping noise, Compressed Sensing（CS） can be utilized to estimate it. The scheme exploits pilot tones and data tones as observations instead of reserve tones, which is different from the previous works and improves data rate. Furthermore, to minimize the effect of the underwater acoustic channel, the channel is also estimated using the CS technique, which provides more accurate channel characteristics than Least Square（LS） or Minimum Mean Square Error（MMSE） estimation algorithms. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is proved in computer simulations as well as in a pool experiment.

Corrosion Resistance of Co-containing Maraging Stainless Steel

Corrosion resistance behavior of Co-containing maraging stainless steels was investigated. Neutral salt spray and polarization test showed that maraging stainless steel with high Co content showed poor corrosion behavior. Microstructure observation proved that segregation of Cr in the matrix deteriorated its corrosion resistance. The surface morphology of the aged maraging stainless steel with high Co content indicated that during passivation process, the newly formed passive film with sinusoidal distribution readily destroyed by the corrosive medium, hence, causing poor corrosion resistance. Moreover, through first-principles calculation it was proved that Co increased Fe–Fe ferromagnetic interaction which facilitated the formation Cr-rich clusters.

Abiotic stresses are among the major limiting factors for plant growth and crop *** these,salinity is one of the major risk factors for plant growth and development in arid to semi-arid *** of salt tolerant crop genotypes is one of the imperative approaches to meet the food demand for increasing *** current experiment was carried out to access the performance of different rice genotypes under salinity stress and Zinc(Zn)*** rice genotypes were grown in a pot experiment and were exposed to salinity stress(7 dS m^(−1)),and Zn(15 mg kg^(-1)soil)was applied from two sources,ZnSO4 and Zn-EDTA.A control of both salinity and Zn was kept for *** showed that based on the biomass accumulation and K^(+)/Na^(+)ratio,KSK-133 and BAS-198 emerged as salt tolerant and salt sensitive,***,based on the Zn concentration,BAS-2000 was reported as Zn-in-efficient while IR-6 was a Zn-efficient *** results also revealed that plant growth,relative water content(RWC),physiological attributes including chlorophyll contents,ionic concentrations in straw and grains of all rice genotypes were decreased under salinity ***,salt tolerant and Zn-in-efficient rice genotypes showed significantly higher shoot K^(+)and Zn concentrations under saline *** application significantly alleviates the harmful effects of salinity by improving morpho-physiological attributes and enhancing antioxidant enzyme activities,and the uptake of K and *** beneficial effect of Zn was more pronounced in salt-tolerant and Zn in-efficient rice genotypes as compared with salt-sensitive and Zn-efficient *** sum,our results confirmed that Zn application increased overall plant’s performance under saline conditions,particularly in Zn in-efficient and tolerant genotypes as compared with salt-sensitive and Zn efficient rice genotypes.

Semiconductor metal oxides have attracted wide attention in the area of gas sensor due to that they have unique advantages in the rapid and accurate detection of harmful gases.A simple strategy is to synthesize porous NiO hollow microspheres via a simple hydrothermal method with trisodium citrate as structure guide agent is presented in this paper,and the shell of the microsphere is composed of porous and lamellar assembly *** cavity proportion can be adjusted by changing the amount of trisodium citrate.A reasonable mechanism was proposed to explain the formation of porous NiO hollow *** a gas-sensing material,porous NiO hollow microspheres show excellent gas selectivity and rapid response recovery time for n-butyl alcohol *** the content of trisodium citrate was 0.10 g,the synthesized hollow sphere NiO had the highest response value(25.6)to 100×10^(-6) of n-butyl alcohol at 300℃ and the response and recovery times were only 68 and 10 s.

CEER:Cooperative Energy-Efficient Routing Mechanism for Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks Using Clusters

Underwater acoustic sensor networks(UWASNs)aim to find varied offshore ocean monitoring and exploration *** most of these applications,the network is composed of several sensor nodes deployed at different depths in the *** nodes located at depth on the seafloor cannot invariably communicate with nodes close to the surface level;these nodes need multihop communication facilitated by a suitable routing *** this research work,a Cluster-based Cooperative Energy Efficient Routing(CEER)mechanism for UWSNs is proposed to overcome the shortcomings of the Co-UWSN and LEACH *** optimal role of clustering and cooperation provides load balancing and improves the network *** simulation results using MATLAB show better performance of CEER routing protocol in terms of various parameters as compared to Co-UWSN routing protocol,i.e.,the average end-to-end delay of CEER was 17.39,Co-UWSN was 55.819 and LEACH was *** addition,the average total energy consumption of CEER was 9.273,Co-UWSN was 12.198,and LEACH was *** packet delivery ratio of CEER was 53.955,CO-UWSN was 42.047,and LEACH was *** stability period CEER was 130.9,CO-UWSN was 129.3,and LEACH was *** obtained results maximized the lifetime and improved the overall performance of the CEER routing protocol.

Two-dimensional(2D)transition-metal selenides,espe-cially MoSe_(2),is considered to be an excellent alternative electrocatalyst for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).However,it still features high overpotential in HER due to the low density of active sites,which limits its practical ***,the hydrogen evolution reaction activity of MoSe_(2)is enhanced by the incorporation of metal-cation,tungsten,which succeeds in taking the place of Mo in the lattice of MoSe_(2),inducing the spacing expansion and bringing new flexural edges to serve as active *** addition,the incorporated metal also facil-itates electron transport from Mo active center toward W and Se atoms with auspicious hydrogen adsorption prop-erties.

Medical Image Analysis(MIA)is one of the active research areas in computer vision,where brain tumor detection is the most investigated domain among researchers due to its deadly *** tumor detection in magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)assists radiologists for better analysis about the exact size and location of the ***,the existing systems may not efficiently classify the human brain tumors with significantly higher *** addition,smart and easily implementable approaches are unavailable in 2D and 3D medical images,which is the main problem in detecting the *** this paper,we investigate various deep learning models for the detection and localization of the tumor in MRI.A novel twotier framework is proposed where the first tire classifies normal and tumor MRI followed by tumor regions localization in the second ***,in this paper,we introduce a well-annotated dataset comprised of tumor and normal *** experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework by achieving 97%accuracy using GoogLeNet on the proposed dataset for classification and 83%for localization tasks after finetuning the pre-trained you only look once(YOLO)v3 model.
