Plants are exposed to adverse environmental conditions,including cold,drought,heat,salinity,and heavy metals,which negatively impact plant growth and productivity of edible crops *** the previous literature summarized the nanoparticle's involvement in abiotic stress mitigation,the interaction of nanoparticles with other stress mitigators to overcome abiotic stress from plants remains ***,nanotechnology is considered a growing new field in agriculture for understanding plants'adapted stress tolerance *** research has shown that nanoparticles can effectively mitigate abiotic stress by interacting synergistically with plant growth *** address this,we comprehensively demonstrated the combined positive potential of nanoparticles in combination with plant growth regulators(signaling molecules,phytohormones,nanoparticles-nanoparticles interaction,fungi,plant growth promoting rhizobacteria and other metal salts)to improve plant growth and mitigate abiotic *** co-applications augment the plant's growth,nutrient uptake,antioxidant defense system,water absorption,cell viability,water use efficiency,and photosynthetic and biochemical attributes by reducing oxidative stressors under various abiotic stresses in different plant *** review provides a comprehensive overview of the combined applications of nanoparticles and plant growth regulators,a novel strategy to reduce the harmful effects of abiotic stress on *** identifies research gaps and recommends future studies to overcome their phytotoxicity worldwide.

Invasive alien plants not only decrease riparian vegetation diversity but also alter wetland ecosystem carbon processes,especially when they displace the original *** Canada goldenrod(Solidago canadensis L.)has colonized large areas of disturbed and undisturbed land in southeastern China,yet little is known regarding how it affects soil carbon *** explore the response patterns of soil respiration following *** invasion and their driving mechanisms,an observational field study and a greenhouse experiment simulating invasion were *** the field study,soil respiration was measured weekly from 21th July 2018 to 15th December *** the greenhouse experiment,soil,autotrophic and heterotrophic respiration were measured every 1st and 15th of the month from 15th July 2019 to 15th December ***,autotrophic and heterotrophic respiration were measured using a closed-chamber system with the deep gauze collar root exclusion *** canadensis invasion appeared to decrease the total soil CO_(2) emissions in both the field study and the greenhouse *** suppressive effects on soil respiration may be attributed to *** invasion-induced alterations in the quality and quantity of available soil substrate,suggesting that *** invasion may impact soil carbon cycling via plant-released substrates and by competing for the soil available substrate with native plant and/or soil *** results have substantial implications for estimations of the effects of invasive plants on belowground carbon dynamics and their contribution to the warming world.

Automatic Quality Inspection of Bakery Products Based on Shape and Color Information

An automatic intelligent system for the colour and texture inspection of bakery products is *** this system,advance classification technique featuring Support Vector Machine and biologically inspired HMAX based shape descriptor integrated with biologically plausible RGB Opponent-Colour-Channel Descriptor is used to classify bakery products to their respective classes based on the shape and based on their colour referring to different baking durations. The results of this paper are compared with other methods for the automatic bakery products inspection. It is discovered that biologically inspired computer vision models performs accurately and efficiently as compared to the computer vision models which are not biologically plausible,in the bakery products quality inspection. It is also discovered that the One Versus One SVM and Directed Acyclic Graph SVM acquired the maximum accurate classification rate. The proposed method acquired classification accuracy of 95% and 100% for the biscuit shape and biscuit colour recognition,respectively. The proposed method is also consistently stable and invariant. This shows that the biologically inspired computer vision models have the capability to replace existing inspection methods as more reliable and accurate alternative.

Optimization Based on Convergence Velocity and Reliability for Hydraulic Servo System

This article presents an optimal hybrid fuzzy proportion integral derivative （HFPID） controller based on combination of proportion integral derivative （PID） and fuzzy controllers, by which the parameters could be evaluated by global optimization either in convergence velocity or in convergence reliability. Focusing on the nonlinear factors of hydraulic servo system, this article takes advantage of PID and fuzzy logic controller integrated with scaling factors to acquire precise tracking performances. To further improve the performances, it provides new developed optimization with rapid convergence to attain reliable approach probability. Focusing on the performance indictors of evolutionary algorithm, this article presents a new technique to predict reliability of the optimization algorithm. Statistics authenticates the effectiveness and robustness of the optimization. Further, many simulation and experimental results indicate that the optimal HFPID could acquire perfect immunity against parametric uncertainties with external disturbance.

Abiotic stresses are among the major limiting factors for plant growth and crop *** these,salinity is one of the major risk factors for plant growth and development in arid to semi-arid *** of salt tolerant crop genotypes is one of the imperative approaches to meet the food demand for increasing *** current experiment was carried out to access the performance of different rice genotypes under salinity stress and Zinc(Zn)*** rice genotypes were grown in a pot experiment and were exposed to salinity stress(7 dS m^(−1)),and Zn(15 mg kg^(-1)soil)was applied from two sources,ZnSO4 and Zn-EDTA.A control of both salinity and Zn was kept for *** showed that based on the biomass accumulation and K^(+)/Na^(+)ratio,KSK-133 and BAS-198 emerged as salt tolerant and salt sensitive,***,based on the Zn concentration,BAS-2000 was reported as Zn-in-efficient while IR-6 was a Zn-efficient *** results also revealed that plant growth,relative water content(RWC),physiological attributes including chlorophyll contents,ionic concentrations in straw and grains of all rice genotypes were decreased under salinity ***,salt tolerant and Zn-in-efficient rice genotypes showed significantly higher shoot K^(+)and Zn concentrations under saline *** application significantly alleviates the harmful effects of salinity by improving morpho-physiological attributes and enhancing antioxidant enzyme activities,and the uptake of K and *** beneficial effect of Zn was more pronounced in salt-tolerant and Zn in-efficient rice genotypes as compared with salt-sensitive and Zn-efficient *** sum,our results confirmed that Zn application increased overall plant’s performance under saline conditions,particularly in Zn in-efficient and tolerant genotypes as compared with salt-sensitive and Zn efficient rice genotypes.

Causes of recurring drought patterns in Xinjiang, China

Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, with its unique topography and geographical location receives very less precipitation in summer as compared with other parts of China. The region is a land locked where moisture is supplied only by westerly winds from Atlantic Ocean as the moisture coming from Indian Ocean is mostly blocked by the Himalayas Range and the Tibetan plateau. In such a scenario, Xinjiang faces severe drought conditions offering significant challenges to water management. In this paper, we analyzed the drought periods in Xinjiang and discussed the various factors that might have influenced precipitation over the past forty-four years. For this purpose, we defined three periods of consecutive four years for high and low precipitation intensities. The average observed precipitation was 1.05 mm/day and 0.7 mm/day in summer (June-July-August) for the Tianshan Mountain region and Junggar Basin of Xinjiang, respectively. The drought conditions indicated that high sea level pressure, wind divergence and low convection were the prominent features that caused the droughts, which often do not allow the condensation process to coagulate the tiny water droplets into relatively large raindrops reducing the amount of precipitation in the region. The period of 1983-1986 is the lowest precipitation interval indicating the severe drought in the western Xinjiang (i.e western Tianshan Mountain region), for which, less moisture availability, strong divergence and less convection could be the most influencing factors.

Hybrid Deep Learning Architecture to Forecast Maximum Load Duration Using Time-of-Use Pricing Plans

Load forecasting has received crucial research attention to reduce peak load and contribute to the stability of power grid using machine learning or deep learning ***,we need the adequate model to forecast the maximum load duration based on time-of-use,which is the electricity usage fare policy in order to achieve the goals such as peak load reduction in a power ***,the existing single machine learning or deep learning forecasting cannot easily avoid ***,a majority of the ensemble or hybrid models do not achieve optimal results for forecasting the maximum load duration based on *** overcome these limitations,we propose a hybrid deep learning architecture to forecast maximum load duration based on *** results indicate that this architecture could achieve the highest average of recall and accuracy(83.43%)compared to benchmark *** verify the effectiveness of the architecture,another experimental result shows that energy storage system(ESS)scheme in accordance with the forecast results of the proposed model(LSTM-MATO)in the architecture could provide peak load cost savings of 17,535,700 KRW each year comparing with original peak load costs without the ***,the proposed architecture could be utilized for practical applications such as peak load reduction in the grid.

Study of bending angle and shadow in a new Schwarzschild-like black hole affected by plasma and non-plasma mediums

In this study,we analyze the models of the deflection angle of a new Schwarzschild-like black hole(BH)and employ the optical metric of the *** achieve this,we use the Gaussian curvature of the optical metric and the Gauss-Bonnet theorem,known as the Gibbons-Werner technique,to determine the deflection ***,we examine the deflection angle in the presence of a plasma medium and the effect of the plasma medium on the deflection *** deflection angle of the BH solution in the gauged super-gravity is computed using the Keeton-Petters *** the ray-tracing technique,we investigate the shadow of the corresponding BH and analyze the plots of the deflection angle and shadow to verify the influence of the plasma and algebraic thermodynamic parameters on the deflection angle and shadow.

A Comparison of Image Processing Techniques for Optical Interference Fringe Analysis

We present a comparison of different techniques for the analysis of the shift and tilt in optical interference fringes. Fringe center, Radon transform, and Gaussian approximation methods are used for fringe analysis. We have measured the tilt and shift between two relevant fringe pattems. The error in tilt measurement was about 2%, and the displacement of the order of few nanometers was measured by the fringe shift analysis. The comparison between the techniques is analyzed with respect to percentage error.

Evolution of light deflection and shadow from a gauge-potential-like AdS black hole under the influence of a non-magnetic plasma medium

We investigate the light deflection in the weak field approximation from the accelerating charged AdS black *** this purpose,we apply the Gauss–Bonnet theorem to calculate the light deflection in the weak field area and use the Gibbons–Werner approach to analyze the optical geometry of the accelerating charged AdS black hole in the non-magnetic plasma absence/presence of a non-magnetic *** also represent the graphical behavior of the light deflection angle *** impact *** also compute the light deflection angle using Keeton and Petters approximations under the impact of accelerating charged AdS black hole ***,by using the ray-tracing approach,we determine the shadow in the nonmagnetic plasma presence and also demonstrate that graphical shadow has an impact on the gauge potential,non-magnetic plasma frequencies and charge.
