i.troducti.n: Acute coronary syndromes (ACS) are a di.gnosti. and therapeuti. emergency. Objecti.e: Studyi.g the feasi.i.i.y, di.fi.ulti.s and results of coronary angi.plasty i. acute coronary syndromes at the Luxembourg Mother-Chi.d Uni.ersi.y Hospi.al i. Bamako. Pati.nts and Methods: Cross-secti.nal, descri.ti.e study wi.h prospecti.e recrui.ment over 18 months from September 2020 to February 2022. All pati.nts aged at least 18 years old admi.ted for SCA and havi.g undergone PCi.duri.g the study peri.d were i.cluded. Result: We collected 249 pati.nts for SCA, of whom 160 underwent angi.plasty, ei.her an angi.plasty/SCA rati. of 0.64. The average age of the pati.nts was 59.54 ± 11.62 wi.h extremes of 32 and 92 years. The age group of 45 to 65 years was the most representati.e. The predomi.ance was male, sex rati. of 2.4. The mai. cardi.vascular ri.k factors were hi.h blood pressure (58.23%) and di.betes (45.78%). Persi.tent ST-segment elevati.n on the electrocardi.gram was present i. 71.48%. The treatment ti.e was more than 12 hours after the fi.st medi.al contact i. 95.5%. The approach was radi.l i. 96.5% of cases. Coronarography was pathologi.al i. 91.16% of our pati.nts. The lesi.ns were tri.truncular i. 34.13% wi.h the anteri.r i.ter ventri.ular as culpri. artery i. 72% of cases. The majori.y of pati.nts (64%) had undergone angi.plasty wi.h i.plantati.n of an acti.e stent. Angi.plasty was performed successfully i. 98% and per procedural mortali.y was 1.87%. Only 6.45% of ACS wi.h ST elevati.n benefi.ed from pri.ary angi.plasty. Conclusi.n: Percutaneous coronary i.terventi.n i. performed routi.ely i. our center wi.h sati.factory results. Di.fi.ulti.s exi.t, related to the di.gnosti. delay of ACS and the hi.h cost of angi.plasty.

i.troducti.n: Acute coronary syndrome i. often the fi.st event of coronary di.ease of young subjects. Objecti.e: To study soci.demographi., cli.i.al, paracli.i.al, therapeuti. and evoluti.nary aspects of acute coronary syndrome of young subjects. Pati.nts and Methods: Descri.ti.e cross-secti.nal study wi.h prospecti.e recrui.ment from October 01, 2020 to March 31, 2022. Were i.cluded all pati.nts admi.ted for acute coronary syndrome whose age was less or equal to 45 years and who had undergone coronary angi.graphy at the Mother-Chi.d Uni.ersi.y Hospi.al on Luxembourg from Bamako. Results: Duri.g the study peri.d, we collected 60 pati.nt fi.es out of 198. These 60 pati.nt fi.es met our i.clusi.n cri.eri.. Hospi.al frequency was 30.30%. Average age of pati.nts was 40.43 ± 3.9 years. Sex rati. M/F was 5.3. Mai. cardi.vascular ri.k factor was smoki.g tobacco (23.42%), followed by dysli.i.emi. (13.92%). Functi.nal si.ns were domi.ated by angi.a 62% followed by dyspnea 25.3%. Persi.tent ST-segment elevati.n on electrocardi.gram was present i. 76.4%. Left ventri.ular systoli. dysfuncti.n was present i. 26.5%. Ti.e to fi.st medi.al contact was more than 12 hours i. 62.7% of cases. Radi.l approach was adopted i. 94% of cases. Coronary angi.graphy was pathologi.al i. 85% (n = 51) of cases. Lesi.ns were si.gle-vessel di.ease i. 47.1% and culpri. artery was anteri.r i.terventri.ular i. 51% of cases. Dual anti.platelet aggregati.n was aspi.i. and ti.agrelor i. 91.8% of cases. Angi.plasty was performed i. all pati.nts who had si.ni.i.ant abnormali.i.s at coronary angi.graphy. i.-hospi.al mortali.y was 3.9%. Conclusi.n: Acute coronary syndromes exi.t i. young Afri.ans wi.h a male predomi.ance. Mai. cardi.vascular ri.k factor i. smoki.g tobacco. Coronary lesi.ns are si.gle vessel di.ease i. the majori.y of case. Most of pati.nts meet medi.al team after 12 hours. Ti.e to fi.st medi.al contact i. a mai. challenge i. our country.

The objecti.e of thi. revi.w i. to report the experi.nce of our team i. Mali.on vagi.al cesarean secti.n. Materi.ls and Methods: Thi. i. a documentary revi.w of a seri.s of 5 cases on the practi.e of vagi.al caesarean secti.n at the Somi.é Dolo Hospi.al and Reference Health Center of the Sani.ary Di.tri.t of Bla i. Mali.between 2005 and 2022. Results: We performed a vagi.al caesarean secti.n on 5 pati.nts i. thi. seri.s. The i.di.ati.ns were retroplacental hematoma i. 2/5 cases i.cludi.g 1 wi.h a li.e fetus, eclampsi. cri.i. i. 1/5 cases, dystoci. on uteri.e prolapse i. 1/5 cases and beati.g cord prolapse i. 1/5 cases. i. the 5 cases, the pregnancy was not at term. i. 3/5 cases, cesarean secti.n was i.di.ated to save the non-term fetus wi.h a very low possi.i.i.y of success by classi. cesarean secti.n and i. 2/5 cases for maternal rescue wi.h fetal death i. utero. 2 li.e newborns were released i. sati.factory condi.i.n, 1 di.d after 6 hours of li.e. Anti.i.ti. therapy was not necessary i. the majori.y of cases. The average length of hospi.ali.ati.n was 3 days. Conclusi.n: The ci.cumstances of the reali.ati.n of the vagi.al cesarean secti.n i. our seri.s of studi.s remai. frequent i. the practi.e of modern obstetri.s. The short durati.n of hospi.ali.ati.n and the low use of anti.i.ti.s can contri.ute to the reducti.n of the medi.al cost of caesarean secti.n i. low-i.come countri.s, such as Mali.

The present work i.vesti.ated the effect of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plasti. waste on the physi.o-mechani.al and thermal properti.s of cement-stabi.i.ed lateri.e bri.ks to see the durabi.i.y of the modi.i.d bri.ks (CSLB). Samples were formulated by mi.i.g lateri.e, cement, and di.ferent percentages of PET (0%, 3%, 5%, and 7%) by volume. The bri.ks were produced usi.g the M7Mi.Hydraform standard i.terlocki.g block and kept i. the shade for a curi.g peri.d of 28 days. The addi.i.n of 3% to 5% PET to the lateri.e stabi.i.ed wi.h 10% cement results i. a decrease i. both dry and wet compressi.e strength, whi.h i. determi.ed usi.g the Controlab compressi.n machi.e. However, the obtai.ed results are i. concordance wi.h the standards. The thermal conducti.i.y of CSLB, determi.ed usi.g the box method wi.h the Ei.00 measurement cell, decreases as the PET content of the mi.ture i.creases. A decrease i. bulk densi.y from 1.67 to 1.58 g/cm3 was observed.

The present work evaluated the properti.s of modi.i.d concrete usi.g polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle waste as a parti.l replacement for coarse aggregate. Modi.i.d concrete samples were desi.ned usi.g a water/cement (W/C) rati. of 0.50 and varyi.g percentages of PET replacement (3%, 7%, 10%, and 15% by volume). Dreux Gori.se’s formulati.n approach was used to make the fi.al products, and the mechani.al properti.s of the samples were determi.ed usi.g Controlab presses. Thi. modi.i.d concrete wi.h PET chi.s has shown that wi.h a 10% replacement of PET chi.s, the fresh densi.y decreases by 3.56%, and the hardened state densi.y decreases by 2.01%. The water absorpti.n and thermal conducti.i.y of the formulated concretes decreased. However, the results showed that the slump of these fresh concretes i.creased as the percentage of plasti. aggregate replacement i.creased. Based on the results, i.corporati.g PET aggregates i.to concrete contri.utes to good workabi.i.y, and li.htwei.ht concrete structures, and provi.es some thermal comfort i. concrete structures.
