Introduction:Alzheimer 's disease(AD) is a common neurodegenerative disorder and the primary cause of dementia. Considerable evidence supports the “amyloid hypothesis,” stating that the pathogenesis of AD is primarily caused by the deposition of amyloid-β(Aβ), which drives tau phosphorylation, neuroinflammation, and neurodegeneration in the brain. The amyloid hypothesis is strengthened by the significant and moderate benefit of lecanemab, a humanized antibody through an anti-amyloid mechanism,showing slowed clinical decline(van Dyck et al.,2023). The recent positive results of anti-amyloid trials have brought back focus on the amyloid hypothesis through biochemical, genetic, and pharmacological approaches(Zhang, 2023).

Chikungunya virus(CHIKV),transmitted by arthropods,has gained global recognition for its impact on public *** has expanded globally,including Africa,Asia,and the Indian subcontinent,and has a helicase protein in its genome that is crucial for its ***,the study targeted the helicase protein of CHIKV with 745 antiviral compounds using an mL-based QSAR model and molecular *** binders(5279172,78161839,6474310,and 5330286)were selected for mD simulation based on the control(Silvestrol).All compounds had the highest binding scores,with 78161839 showing the most consistent RmSD and the least conformational variation,indicating high *** also showed the lowest binding free energy(ΔG¼31.31 kcal/mol),indicating energetically favourable *** and FEL also depicted the stable complex confirmation of the protein and 78161839 complex during the 100 ns ***,this study aimed to identify helicase function antiviral binders that could be experimentally tested for treating CHIKV.

As an interdisciplinary product,water-soluble gold nanoclusters(AuNCs)stabilized by ligands containing carboxyl(-COOH)group have garnered significant attention from synthetic chemists and biologists due to their imm.nse potential for biomedical ***,revealing the crystallographic structures of-COOH-functionalized AuNCs remains a ***,we successfully applied the salting-out method to obtain a series of high-quality single crystals of-COOH-functionalized Au_(25)nanoclusters and revealed their crystallographic ***,K_(3)Au_(25)(2-Hmna)_9(mna)_6]^(-)(Au25a)protected by 2-mercaptonicotinic acid features an unprecedented tetrameric Au_(4)(SR^(S))_(3)(SR^(S,N))_(2)staple motifs surrounding the icosahedral Au_(13)kernel,breaking the traditional perception on the structure of Au_(25)(SR)_(18).Au25a exhibits a distinct near-infrared emission at 970 nm with long lifetime of 8690 ns,which have been studied by transient absorption spectroscopy and time-dependent density functional *** work compensates for the research gap in the experimental structure of-COOHfunctionalized AuNCs and opens up a new avenue to explore their structure-property correlations.
