Multi-Step Clustering of Smart Meters Time Series:Application to Demand Flexibility Characterization of SME Customers

Aluminum alloys are widely used in industry due to their light *** alloys are generally exposed to abrasive wear,which diminishes their effective *** wear resistance of these alloys is enhanced by adding various reinforcements,however,this enhancement comes at the cost of reduced fracture *** paradox of increased wear resistance versus decreased fracture toughness in aluminum alloys can be resolved by using functionally graded materials (FGMs).This study focuses on the abrasive wear behavior of functional graded aluminum matrix composites reinforced with Al_(3)Ti *** wear properties of the composites were investigated by considering the characteristics of the composite such as matrix type and various composite zones,as well as the wear parameters such as abrasive particle diameter,load,sliding speed and *** method was used in the abrasive wear tests in order to get more reliable results in a timeefficient *** recipes were created based on the L_(27)(3^(6)) orthogonal *** a result of the study,it is observed that the wear resistance of the composites increases with an increase in Al_(3)Ti reinforcement content and hardness of the *** addition,the size of abrasive particles and the applied load are significant factors affecting abrasive wear.

Ethanol(EtOH) is a common trigger for gastric mucosal diseases, and mitigating oxidative stress is essential for attenuating gastric mucosal damage. capsaicin(caP) has been identified as a potential agent to counteract oxidative damage in the gastric mucosa; however, its precise mechanism remains unclear. This study demonstrates that caP alleviates EtOH-induced gastric mucosal injuries through two primary pathways: by suppressing the chemokine receptor 4(CCR4)/Src/p47phox axis, thereby reducing oxidative stress, and by inhibiting the phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of nuclear factor-κB p65(NF-κB) p65, resulting in diminished inflammatory responses. These findings elucidate the mechanistic pathways of caP and provide a theoretical foundation for its potential therapeutic application in the treatment of gastric mucosal injuries.

Objective: To examine the effectiveness of Chinese medicine(CM) Lianhua Qingwen Granule(LHQW) and Jingyin Gubiao Prescription(JYGB) in asymptomatic or mild patients with Omicron infection in the shelter hospital. Methods: This single-center retrospective cohort study was conducted in the largest shelter hospital in Shanghai, China, from April 10, 2022 to May 30, 2022. A total of 56,244 asymptomatic and mild Omicron cases were included and divided into 4 groups, i.e., non-administration group(23,702 cases), LHQW group(11,576 cases), JYGB group(12,112 cases), and dual combination of LHQW and JYGB group(8,854 cases). The length of stay(LOS) in the hospital was used to assess the effectiveness of LHQW and JYGB treatment on Omicron infection. Results: Patients aged 41–60 years, with nadir cycle threshold(CT) value of N gene cant differences in LOS between the LHQW/JYGB combination and the other groups(Pcally shortened LOS(P=0.032). Conclusions: Patients with a nadir CT value <25were more likely to accept CM. The LHQW/JYGB combination therapy could shorten the LOS of Omicron-infected individuals in an isolated environment.

积极应对人口老龄化已成为我国的基本国策,而适时实施渐进式延迟法定退休年龄政策,是我国积极应对人口老龄化的重要举措。讨论中国居民退休经济准备充分程度,定义居民耗尽所有资产的年龄为破产年龄,居民在死亡前耗尽全部资产的概率为破产概率,构建了一个能刻画中国居民破产年龄与破产概率的精算模型,对中国居民退休准备情况进行评估,并探讨投资收益率及房产的敏感性。最后在模型中引入延迟退休政策,以说明特定的社会个体的退休经济准备如何受到延迟退休影响,并分析了延迟退休影响的异质性。主要创新之处在于从新的视角定量研究退休经济准备,研究发现约1/3的个体退休经济准备充分,男性退休经济准备情况好于女性,并且进一步发现延迟退休年数较少时对男性积极效果更大,年数超过七年后对女性积极效果大。整体而言,补充了退休经济准备的相关研究,也为制定延迟退休政策提供参考。

Effect of Coal Fly Ash Incorporation on the Physical and Mechanical Properties of Terracotta Bricks based on Grey Clay

This study was part of the framework that contributed not only to the improvement of thermal comfort in housing but also to the decarbonization of the construction and building materials industry. For this purpose, terracotta brick seems to meet these needs. Thus, the objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of the incorporation of coal fly ash from a thermal power plant on the physical and mechanical properties of fired bricks from grey clay in the Thicky area of Senegal. The coal fly ash was incorporated into the raw clay material in proportions of 0, 5, 10, and 15 % by weight. These two raw materials were first characterized by X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF). The XRF analyses showed that the most abundant oxides in clay were SiO2 (55.034%) and Fe2O3 (10.155%). In coal fly ash, SiO2 (38.574%) is predominant. The ash also contained Al2O3 (7.717%) and alicano-earthy melting oxides such as caO (9.271%) and MgO (7.298%) etc. These melting oxides were necessary to facilitate the formation of the liquid phase when baking platelets. The latter, when burned at a temperature of 880°C, were characterized by determining the number of physico-mechanical parameters, such as linear shrinkage during cooking, water absorption, fire loss and compressive strength. A Hierarchical Ascending Classification of these different parameters was performed and three classes were obtained. Class 1 with better compressive strength (6.358 MPa), was in sample A (5%). Class 2 consisted of sample D (reference) and had a higher plasticity index (28.51%) and water absorption rate (11.19%). Finally, class 3, which included samples B (10%) and C (15%), had very high shrinkage and fire losses compared to other platelets. These results highlighted the possibility of using up to 5% of the coal fly ash in the production of new fired bricks with good performance.

Comparative Effects of Doses of Nauclea latifolia and 17 Alpha Methyltestosterone on Masculinization and Growth Rates of Tilapia Orechromis niloticus Larvae in Senegal

One of the main obstacles to the development of aquaculture in Senegal is the availability of fry and juveniles in sufficient quantities. The objective of our study is to evaluate the effects of treatment with the hormone 17 alpha methyl testosterone (17-&-MT) and different doses of Nauclea latifolia root powder on the masculinization rates of tilapia Oreochromis niloticus larvae in Senegal. A total of 450 larvae of Oreochromis niloticus, with an average size of 0.012 g, were placed in 15 aquariums, each containing 30 individuals and fed one of the 5 diets in triplicate. These individuals were fed either a diet containing a plant extract at a dose of 180 mg (T180), 200 mg (T200) and 250 mg (T250) per kg of food, or a diet containing 60 mg/kg of the hormone 17-&-MT (TMT), or a diet without either the plant extract or the hormone (T0). Individuals were fed for 30 days with the treatment diets, and then with the industrial feed for the rest of the experiment. At the end of the study, the results of the masculinization rate were: 80.49%, 73.13%, 69.23%, 66.67% and 45.95% for T250;T200, TMT, T180 and T0 respectively. In summary, we can say that the 250 mg/kg dose provides better masculinization, followed by 200mg/kg and then 17 α MT. For the plant, the increase in the percentage of males is dose-dependent. These results also translate into better growth of individuals in this order. However, the relatively lower survival rates observed in batches treated with Nauclea latifolia extract indicate that these treatments could have a deleterious effect on the survival of Oreochromis niloticus larvae. These results suggest the use of N. latifolia extract at a dose of 250 mg/kg feed for better production of male O. niloticus larvae without compromising their growth.

Lateritic soils are found over large areas in tropical countries where their suitability for road engineering is a real concern, both compositionally and mechanically. Mineralogical and geochemical characterization, and profile description were carried out on Pliocene gravel lateritic soils from the Thies region to assess their suitability for road construction. These soils were sampled in Lam-Lam, Mont Rolland, Pout, Ngoundiane and Sindia borrow pits in that region. Minerals that make up these studied materials are quartz, kaolinite, hematite and goethite, identified by X-Ray Diffraction and confirmed with Infrared spectroscopy. This mineralogy is characteristic of lateritic soils which are concretionary structure and are formed in well-drained tropical regions like that of Thies. According to the chemical results, these gravel lateritic soils are poor in organic matter, OM 2/(Al2O3 + Fe2O3) Diop ternary diagram for classifying lateritic soils. Therefore, Thies materials are ferruginous lateritic soils, Al2O3/Fe2O3 cal, geochemical and pedological properties can now help overcome compositional challenges well before determining the bearing capacity of lateritic materials. This mechanical strength, which largely depends on their composition, is decisive in defining the optimal conditions for using lateritic materials in road geotechnics.

Nitrate contamination of groundwater is a worldwide problem, particularly in agricultural countries. Exposure to high levels of nitrates in groundwater can have adverse effects on the health of residents who use groundwater for drinking. This study aims to assess the health risk associated with the ingestion of nitrates in well water in the town of M’bahiakro. Health risk maps were created on the basis of hazard quotients (HQ) using the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) health risk assessment model. The results indicate that residents of the Koko, Dougouba.a.d baoulekro neighbourhoods, whatever their age, are potentially exposed to the toxic effects of NO3−during their daily intake of nitrate-contaminated well water, with reference to hazard quotients (HQ) greater than 1. Nitrate concentrations in the groundwater should therefore be controlled in order to prevent their harmful effects on the health of the population and guarantee its use in rice-growing activities in M’bahiakro.
