Evolution of electrochemically induced stress and its effect on the lithium-storage performance of graphite electrode

The electrochemically induced stress is a key factor that affects the lithium-storage performance of electrode *** this study,the origin and evolution of the electrochemically induced stress of the graphite electrode were investigated by in situ experiments and *** in situ optical experiment was performed to observe the electrode color to analyze the concentration and diffusion process of lithium ions inside the graphite *** electrochemical-mechanical coupling model under the same experimental conditions was developed and verified by the experimental lithium concentration,and characterization of the spatiotemporal evolution of the potential,lithium concentration,and stress during the diffusion process was *** results showed that lithium intercalation leads to compressive stress,which presents a gradient distribution along the Li+diffusion path,and it exhibits a“piecewise”nonlinear growth trend with increasing lithiation *** addition,as the potential decreases,the stress increases from slow to fast relative to the lithium-concentration increase,showing the characteristic of *** influence of stress on the lithium-storage performance is discussed using the local lithium-intercalation rate and phase-interface migration speed as the key *** lithiation mechanism was analyzed from the perspective of the energy,and it was found that the two factors cause the slow diffusion in the late stage of lithiation,thus affecting the actual lithium-storage *** study will enhance the understanding of the electro-chemo-mechanical coupling mechanism and provide guidance for enhancing stress-regulated battery performance.

Route planning of truck and multi-drone rendezvous with available time window constraints of drones

During the scenarios of cooperative tasks performed by a single truck and multiple drones,the route plan is prone to failure due to the unpredictable scenario *** this situation,it is significant to replan the rendezvous route of the truck and drones as soon as possible,to ensure that all drones in flight can return to the truck before running out of *** paper addresses the problem of rendezvous route planning of truck and *** to the available time window constraints of drones,which limit not only the rendezvous time of the truck and drones but also the available period of each drone,there are obvious local optimum phenomena in the investigated problem,so it is difficult to find a feasible solution.A two-echelon heuristic algorithm is *** the algorithm,the strategy jumping out of the local optimum and the heuristic generating the initial solution are introduced,to improve the probability and speed of obtaining a feasible solution for the rendezvous *** results show that the feasible solution of the truck-drones rendezvous route can be obtained with 88%probability in an average of 77 iterations for the scenario involving up to 25 *** influence of algorithm options on planning results is also analyzed.

Comprehensive utilization of solid waste resources: Development of wet shotcrete for mines

The development of solid waste resources as constituent materials for wet shotcrete has significant economic and environmental advantages. In this study, the concept of using tailings as aggregate and fly ash and slag powder as auxiliary cementitious material is proposed and experiments are carried out by response surface methodology(RSM). Multivariate nonlinear response models are constructed to investigate the effect of factors on the uniaxial compressive strength(UCS) of tailings wet shotcrete(TWSC). The UCS of TWSC is predicted and optimized by constructing Gaussian process regression(GPR) and genetic algorithm(GA). The UCS of TWSC is gradually enhanced with the increase of slag powder dosage and fineness modulus, and it is enhanced first and then decreased with the increase of fly ash dosage. The microstructure of TWSC has the highest gray value and the highest UCS when the fly ash dosage is about 120 kg·m^(-3). The GPR–GA model constructed in this study achieves high accuracy prediction and optimization of the UCS of TWSC under multi-factor conditions.

Topochemical polymerization of molecular crystals into porous materials is of significance due to their promising applications in the field of adsorption and catalysis,yet rarely reported due to the synthesis ***,a hydrogen-bonded organic framework(HOF-45)has been fabricated by the crystallization of a cage-like building block containing three alkynyl *** exhibits almost mesoporous structure demonstrated by single crystal X-ray diffraction ***-driven topochemical polymerization of HOF-45 with ethanedithiol covalently links alkynyl groups in HOF-45,generating a hydrogen-bond and covalentbond cross-linked material(HOF-45C).In contrast to HOF-45,cross-linked HOF-45C retains the crystalline nature and displays improved solution resistence according to the powder X-ray diffraction *** particular,HOF-45C is able to support the growth of ultrafine palladium nanoparticles with the average size of ca.1.9 nm for rapidly promoting the degradation of nitrophenol,methyl orange,and congo red with the help of NaBH_(4)as well as Suzuki-Miyaura coupling *** work inputs a new idea on the HOFs application in preparing covalent-linked porous organic materials.

Sixth-Order Compact Finite Difference Method for 2D Helmholtz Equations with Singular Sources and Reduced Pollution Effect

Due to its highly oscillating solution,the Helmholtz equation is numerically challenging to *** obtain a reasonable solution,a mesh size that is much smaller than the reciprocal of the wavenumber is typically required(known as the pollution effect).High-order schemes are desirable,because they are better in mitigating the pollution *** this paper,we present a high-order compact finite difference method for 2D Helmholtz equations with singular sources,which can also handle any possible combinations of boundary conditions(Dirichlet,Neumann,and impedance)on a rectangular *** method is sixth-order consistent for a constant wavenumber,and fifth-order consistent for a piecewise constant *** reduce the pollution effect,we propose a new pollution minimization strategy that is based on the average truncation error of plane *** numerical experiments demonstrate the superiority of our proposed finite difference scheme with reduced pollution effect to several state-of-the-art finite difference schemes,particularly in the critical pre-asymptotic region where kh is near 1 with k being the wavenumber and h the mesh size.

Analysis of Strip Temperature in Hot Rolling Process by Finite Element Method

The program was developed by finite element method to calculate the temperature distribution in hot strip rolling process. The heat transfer coefficients of air cooling, water cooling and thermal resistance between work roll and strip were analyzed, A new heat generation rate model was proposed according to the influence of source current density, work frequency, air gap and distance to edge on induction heating by finite element method （FEM）. The heat generation rate was considered in the thermal analysis to predict the temperature distribution in the induction heating. The influence of induction heating on the strip temperature was investigated for different slab thicknesses. The temperature difference became more and more obvious with the increase of thickness. The strip could be heated quickly by the induction heating both in surface and center because of the thermal conductivity and skin effect. The heat loss of radiation has important influence on the surface temperature. The surface temperature could be heated quickly by high frequency when the strip is thicker.

Tailings known as solid waste are generated by the mining *** development of tailings as wet shotcrete aggregates has significant economic and environmental *** fine particle size of the tailings results in a large consumption of traditional cement as a cementitious material and insignificant improvement in ***,a composite cementitious system of cement and solid waste resources(fly ash and slag powder)is explored for this *** this paper,the response surface methodology(RSM)is used to optimize the experimental design and a multivariate nonlinear response model with cement,fly ash and slag powder contents as variables are constructed,which can investigate the effect of the composite cementitious system on the strength of tailing wet shotcrete(TWSC).In addition,the information entropy(IE)is introduced and combined with the RSM to evaluate the composite cementitious ***,the desirability function(DF)combined with RSM is used to optimize the composite cementitious *** results show that the response model constructed in this paper has R^(2)=0.96 and P-value<0.01(the test result of the model is P-value<0.01),which indicates that the model has high *** higher the content of slag powder and cement in the composite cementitious system,the higher the strength and comprehensive score of the *** is a critical value of fly ash content,which makes the maximum cementation of the composite cementing *** optimal mix proportion of the composite cementitious system is obtained based on RSM-DF,which leads to the strength of TWSC at different curing time to achieve the expected index.
