The Shuiquangou-Dananshan alkali-complex in the northwestern part of the Hebei province is a bigger concentration area of K-metasomatic gold deposits,that related to K-meatsomatism overprinted on the alkali intrusive rocks,in *** order to determine the age and pulse intervals of K-metasomatism in this gold mineral deposit concentration area,some metasomatic K-feldspar were selected from K-altered rocks in the Hougou gold deposit to measure their formation time by Laser Probe Ar-Ar dating *** new analyzing data show that these metasomatic K-feldspar formed during 203Ma and 176Ma,and the corresponding K-metasomatism and associated gold mineralization occurred in the early stage of Mesozoic era. The pulse intervals of K-metasomatism in the Hougou area is estimated to be about 4Ma.

A theoretical model was used to investigate the influences of environmental and topographic parameters on the atmospheric three-layer internal ship waves. The results show that both the wavelength and the wedge angle decrease with an increase in the Scorer parameter, and the rate of changes in the wavelength and wedge angle are also alike. The results also show that the wedge angle decreases with an increase in the width of mountain, but the wavelength varies little with it. It is suggested that the wedge angle is determined by the ratio of the wavelength to the scale of the mountain. besides, numerical sensitivity experiments were performed to test the former numerical experiments. The simulated results are consistent with the analytical results.

There is relative motion and inertial coupling between solids and fluids during seismic and acoustic propagation in rocks with *** inertial coupling is anisotropic because of the microvelocity anisotropy of the fluid relative to solid in an anisotropic *** biot mechanism and the squirt-flow mechanism are the two most important mechanisms of solid/fluid interaction in *** extend the biot/squirt(bISQ) theory to include the solid/fluid coupling anisotropy and develop a general poroelastic wave equation including both mechanisms *** new model estimates velocity/frequency dispersion and attenuation of waves propagating in the 2D PTL (periodicthinlayers)+EDA(extensive dilatancy anisotropy) medium with *** attenuation and dispersion of the two quasi-P-waves and the quasi-SV-wave,which are related to the solid/fluid coupling density and the permeability tensors,are *** anisotropy are simultaneously affected by the anisotropics of the solid skeleton,the permeability,and the solid/fluid coupling effect of the *** modeling suggests that variations of attenuation of both the fast quasi-P-wave and the quasi-SV-wave strongly depend on the permeability *** the low-frequency range,the maximum attenuation is in the direction of the maximum permeability for the fast quasi-P-wave and in the direction of the minimum permeability for the *** attenuation behaviors of the two waves in the high-frequency range,however,are opposite to those in the low-frequency *** paper also presents numerically how the attenuation and velocity dispersion of both the fast quasi-P-wave and the quasi-SV-wave are influenced by the anisotropic solid/fluid coupling *** model results demonstrate when the wave propagation is perpendicular to the direction of maximum solid/fluid coupling density,the wave motion exhibits maximum attenuation(Q-1) and maximum velocity dispersion for the fast quasi-P-wave,and m

A group of extremely rare coeval ultramafic-mafic and syenitic dykes was discovered in the Eastern Hebei region of the North china *** dykes intrude the 3.8-2.55 Ga old Caozhuang *** olivine gabbro dyke and syenite dyke yield,respectively,SHRIMP zircon U-Pb ages of 2516±26 Ma and 2504±11 Ma,interpreted as the magmatic crystallization *** zircons have single-stage Hf model ages 2677 Ma and 2705 *** olivine gabbros have Mg values of 59-63,similar to high-magnesian tholeiitic *** show relatively LREE-enriched patterns without Eu anomalies(La/Yb = 9.28-9.78, Gd/Yb = 2.8,δEu = 0.96-1.00),with enrichment in LILEs and depletion in *** also contain high Cr and Ni,and have Zr/Hf and Nb/Ta ratios similar to those of the primitive *** syenites are alkaline in composition,with 8.67-8.88 wt.%NaO + KO,and show high total REE contents(543-854ppm) and strong LREE-enriched patterns with minor Eu negative anomalies(La/Yb = 50-101,Gd/Yb = 5.2-5.3,δEu = 0.80-0.82).Trace element diagrams show strong LILE-enrichment relative to ***/Hf and Nb/Ta ratios are 47-49 and 26-76,respectively,which are much higher than those of primitive mantle and higher than the average Nb/Ta ratio of post-Archean continental *** petrological and geochemical features indicate that these dykes were derived from a deep subcontinental lithospheric mantle source,which implies that the NCC probably had continental crust of considerable thickness at this *** with evidence for～2.5 Ga granite intrusion and metamorphism in the Eastern Hebei region and adjacent areas,we propose that the NCC has been a present scale craton at the end of Archean.

A high quality cDNA library was constructed from the brown alga Laminaria japonica,with the titer of 1.2×10 5 pfu/*** average insert size of the cDNA library is about 1.6 *** the cDNA library,591 cDNA clones were randomly selected and *** a result,574 EST(expressed sequence tag) sequences were *** of the 574 ESTs were submitted to the dbEST database section of Genbank with the accession numbers from CX942625 to *** cDNA library was screened with a α-32 p labeled 453 bp T P S gene probe,which is a partial sequence yielded from Porphyra *** positive cDNA clones were screened and the sequencing data showed that these four cDNA clones covered majority of *** TPS cDNA *** PCR amplification,sequencing and assembling,the entire ORF(open reading frame) sequence of the T P S gene was obtained,which was named *** encodes a protein containing 908 amino acids with a calculated molecular mass of 101 674 *** LjTPS gene was successfully expressed in *** and *** LjTPS gene has potential application both in plant breeding to stress tolerance and in deciphering the T P S gene function and mechanism to stress tolerance.

A suite of slightly metamorphosed Carboniferous sedimentary strata occurs in the northern margin of the Dabie Mountains, central *** consists,in ascending order,of the upper Huayuanqiang Formation(C),the Yangshan Formation(C),the Daorenchong Formation(C),the most widely distributed Huyoufang Formation(C) and the Yangxiaozhuang Formation (C).The provenance of the Carboniferous sedimentary rocks is constrained by the integration of trace elements,detrital mineral chemistry and sensitive high resolution ion microprobe(SHRIMP) dating of detrital zircons,which can help to understand the connection between the provenance and the Paleozoic tectonic evolution of the Qinling-Dabie *** trace element compositions indicate that the source terrain was probably a continental island *** tourmalines were mainly derived from aluminous and Al-poor metapelites and metapsammites,and some are sourced from Li-poor granitoids, pegmatites and *** garnets,found only in the uppermost Huyoufang Formation,are almandine and Mn-almandine garnets,indicating probable sources mainly from garnetiferous schists,and partly from granitoid *** detrital white Kmicas are muscovitic in the Huayuanqiang,Daorenchong and Huyoufang Formations,and phengitic with Si contents(p.f.u.) from 3.20 up to max.3.47-3.53 in the uppermost Huyoufang and the Yangxiaozhuang Formations,a meta-sedimentary source. Major components in the detrital zircon age structure for the Huyoufang Formation range from 506 to 363 Ma,centering on - 400 and - 480 Ma,which is characteristic of the Qinling and Eriangping Groups in the Qinling and Tongbai Mountains, central ***,the major source of the Carboniferous sedimentary rocks in the northern margin of Dabie Mountains was from the southern margin of the Sino-Korean Craton represented by the Qinling and Eriangping *** source area was an island-arc system during the Early Paleozoic that collided with the Sino-Korea plate towards the e

A passive seismic experiment across the Longmenshan(LMS) fault belt had been conducted between August 2006 and July 2007 for the understanding of geodynamic process between the Eastern Tibet and Sichuan *** herein collected 3677 first P arrival times with high precision from seismograms of 288 teleseismic events so as to reconstruct the upper mantle velocity *** results show that the depth of the Lithosphere-asthenosphere boundary(LAb) changes from 70 km beneath Eastern Tibet to about 110 km beneath Longquanshan,Sichuan basin,which is consistent with the receiver function imaging *** very thin mantle part of the lithosphere beneath Eastern Tibet may suggest the lith-osphere delamination due to strong interaction between the Tibetan eastward escaping flow and the rigid resisting Sichuan basin,which can be further supported by the existences of two high-velocity anomalies beneath LAb in our imaging *** also find there are two related low-velocity anomalies beneath the LMS fault belt,which may indicate magmatic upwelling from lithosphere delamination and account for the origin of tremendous energy needed by the devastating Wenchuan earthquake.

This paper presents a MATLAb program designed to invert 1D strain rate from subsidence *** forward modeling,we use an implicit finite difference scheme to solve the heat conduction equation with an advective *** the inversion,we adopt the Powell algorithm to continually search for the optimal values of strain rate until the fit,defined by the difference between the calculated subsidence and the observed subsidence,is *** datasets are generated,and one of them is used to test the inversion *** results show that the calculated subsidence fit the theoretical subsidence quite well,and the inverted strain rate oscillates around the true value and is a good approximation to the original strain rate *** program is applied to the northern continental margin of the South china Sea,and the inverted strain rate from WC1411 well reveals the multiple rifting events that occurred in this *** inverted strain rate can be used to evaluate the stretching factor and provides constraints for dynamic modeling of lithospheric deformation.

Numerous U-Pb zircon geochronological data show that rocks of the Precambrian basement from the North china craton(NCC)have two age peaks at 1.8-1.9 and～2.5Ga,*** the most prominent peak at～2.5 Ga really registered a period of major crustal growth in the NCC thus making it different from the global major crustal growth period of～2.7 Ga is *** this paper,we carried out in situ U-Pb and Hf isotopes of zircons and whole rock chemical and Sr-Nd isotopic analyses for six Precambrian samples from the NCC in order to understand crustal growth and *** samples have U-Pb zircon ages of 1.8-1.9,～2.5 and～2.7Ga,*** two samples with U-Pb zircon ages of～2.7 Ga have zircon Hf model ages(T)and/or whole rock Nd model ages(T)close to their U-Pb zircon *** is clear that they represent juvenile crust generation,thus providing direct evidence that～2.7 Ga was a period of new crustal *** samples with U-Pb zircon ages of～1.8 and～2.5 Ga also have Tand/or Tsimilar to those of the～2.7 Ga samples,indicating that these samples also have a mantle extraction time of 2.7±0.1 Ga and their～1.8 and～2.5 Ga ages may represent periods of reworking of the 2.7±0.1-Ga crust rather than juvenile crust *** reworking is manifested either as metamorphism or as lower crustal-derived ***,the～2.5-Ga tonalitic gneiss sample is thought to be derived by melting of the～2.7 Ga lower *** many～2.5- Ga tonalite-trondhjemite-granodiorites(TTGs)and calc-alkaline granitoids in the NCC contain～2.7-Ga xenocrystic and inherited zircons,we postulate that they are probably also derived mainly from the 2.7±0.1-Ga *** data imply that the quantity of～2.7 Ga continental crust in the NCC is probably greater in extent than that exposed today.
