For desirable quality of service, content providers aim at covering content requests by large network caches. Content caching has been considered as a fundamental module in network architecture. There exist few studies on the optimization of content caching. Most existing works focus on the design of content measurement, and the cached content is replaced by a new one based on the given metric. Therefore, the performance for service provision with multiple levels is decreased. This paper investigates the problem of finding optimal timer for each content. According to the given timer, the caching policies determine whether to cache a content and which existing content should be replaced, when a content miss occurs. Aiming to maximize the aggregate utility with capacity constraint, this problem is formalized as an integer optimization problem. A linear programming based approximation algorithm is proposed, and the approximation ratio is proved. Furthermore, the problem of content caching with relaxed constraints is given. A Lagrange multiplier based approximation algorithm with polynomial time complexity is proposed. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithms have better performance.

Catalytic performance of W/HZSM-5 in selective catalytic reduction of NO by acetylene was investigated in a reaction system with 1600 ppm of NO, 800 ppm of C2H2, and 9.95% of O2 in He. It was found that promotional effect of tungsten on the reaction is strongly affected by catalyst preparation conditions and Si/Al ratio of the parent zeolite. A better dispersion of tungsten on HZSM-5 and relatively more monomeric tungsten species were found on 8%W/HZSM-5 prepared by impregnation of the zeolite with lower SiO2/A1203 ratio (25) in ammonic ammonium tungstate solution and calcination of the resulting material at higher temperature (550 ℃). The highest NO conversion to N2 of 86.3% in the reaction system was obtained at 350 ℃ over the catalyst thus prepared. The mechanism of monomeric tungsten species improving the C2H2-SCR can be attributed to accelerating the formation of active nitrate species.

Nigerose is a kind of rare disaccharide connected by anα-1,3 glucosidic bond,which is a potential probiotic due to its antidigestive properties and beneficial *** study identified and characterized a novel GH65 glycoside phosphorylase derived from Anaerosporobacter mobilis(AmNP).This new protein could specifically catalyze the phospholysis of nigerose to generate glucose and glucose-1-phosphate in the presence of phosphate,indicating it was a typical nigerose *** to the previously reported nigerose phosphorylases,AmNP exhibited lower affinity towards nigerose in phosphorolysis reaction and higher affinity towards glucose in reverse phosphorolysis reaction,which indicated that AmNP might be superior in the synthetic capability of *** AmNP was employed to synergize with maltose phosphorylase from Lactobacillus brevis(LbMP)to catalyze the synthesis of nigerose using maltose as the *** optimization of reaction conditions,the highest nigerose yield reached 132.0 g/L with a 66.3%conversion rate,which was higher than ever reported cases using the same reaction pathway to our *** findings on AmNP in this work were expected to provide a new candidate for large-scale enzymatic synthesis of nigerose and have important theoretical significance for studying nigerose phosphorylase.

Dissolved organic matter (DOM) represents one of the most mobile and reactive organic compounds in ecosystem and plays an important role in the fate and transport of soil organic pollutants, nutrient cycling and more importantly global climate change. Electrochemical methods were first employed to evaluate DOM redox properties, and spectroscopic approaches were utilized to obtain information concerning its composition and structure. DOM was extracted from a forest soil profile with five horizons. Differential pulse voltammetry indicated that there were more redox-active moieties in the DOM from upper horizons than in that from lower horizons. Cyclic voltammetry further showed that these moieties were reversible in electron transfer. Chronoamperometry was employed to quantify the electron transfer capacity of DOM, including electron acceptor capacity and electron donor capacity, both of which decreased sharply with increasing depth. FT-IR, UV-Vis and fluorescence spectra results suggested that DOM from the upper horizons was enriched with aromatic and humic structures while that from the lower horizons was rich in aliphatic carbon, which supported the findings obtained by electrochemical approaches. Electrochemical approaches combined with spectroscopic methods were applied to evaluate the characteristics of DOM extracted along a forest soil profile. The electrochemical properties of DOM, which can be rapidly and simply obtained, provide insight into the migration and transformation of DOM along a soil profile and will aid in better understanding of the biogeochemical role of DOM in natural environments.
