Be.ide., the.inte.nal nozzle.flow phe.ome.on and e.te.nal ambie.t conditions can furthe. impact fue. introduction characte.istics. This study me.sure. the.ROI profile.of a he.vy-duty (multi-hole. die.e. inje.tor using the.Bosch tube.te.hnique. Inje.tion pre.sure.and inje.tion duration we.e.varie. from 600 to 2600 bar and 0.5–3.0 ms, re.pe.tive.y. Pre.e.te.ral soft tissue.swe.ling(PVSTS) was me.sure. ante.ior to C2 and C6 on plain late.al ce.vical radiographs pre.pe.ative.y and one.we.k postope.ative.y and fusion asse.se. at two ye.rs. Re.ULTS The.e.was no inte.group significance.be.we.n pre.pe.ative.and postope.ative.visual analogue.scale.(VAS)and ne.k disability inde.(NDI) score. be.we.n Group 1 and 2. Me.n pre.pe.ative.PVSTS in Group 1 was 4.7 ± 0.2 mm at C2 le.e. and 11.1 ± 0.5 at C6 le.e. compare. to Group 2 me.n PVSTS of 4.5 ± 0.5 mm and 12.8 ± 0.5, P = 0.172 and 0.127 re.pe.tive.y. The.e.was no radiographic or clinical e.ide.ce.of adve.se.re.ction note.. In Group 1 me.n postope.ative.PVSTS was 5.5 ± 0.4 mm at C2 and 14.9 ± 0.6 mm at C6 compare. Group 2 me.n PVSTS was 4.9 ± 0.3 mm at C2 and 14.8 ± 0.5 mm at C6, P = 0.212 and 0.946 re.pe.tive.y. No significant incre.se.in pre.e.te.ral soft tissue.space.at C2 and C6 le.e. *** ACDF with adjunct DBM packe. Pe.K cage. showe. a statistical significant intragroup improve.e.t in VAS ne.k pain score. and NDI score.(P = 0.001). The.e.we.e.no re.orte. se.ious patie.t complications; post-ope.ative.radiographs de.onstrate. no significant diffe.e.ce.in pre.e.te.ral space. We.conclude.that ACDF with DBMpacke. Pe.K cage. can be.safe.y done.in an ASC with satisfactory outcome..
