Epitaxial ferroelectric one direction over the thin fihns on single-crystal substrates generally show a preferred domain orientation in other in demonstration of a poor polarization retention. This behavior will affect their application in nonvolatile ferroelectric random access memories where bipolar polarization states are used to store the logic 0 and 1 data. Here the retention characteristics of BiFe03 thin films with Srftu03 bottom electrodes on both GdSc03 （110） and SrTiO3 （100） substrates are studied and compared, and the results of piezoresponse force microscopy provide a long time retention property of the films on two substrates. It is found that bismuth ferrite thin films grown on GdScO3 substrates show no preferred domain variants in comparison with the preferred downward polarization orientation toward bottom electrodes on SrTi03 substrates. Tile retention test from a positive-up domain to a negative-down domain using a signal generator and an oscilloscope coincidentally shows bistable polarization states on the GdSeOa substrate over a measuring time of 500s, unlike the preferred domain orientation on SrTi03, where more than 65~o of upward domains disappear after 1 s. In addition, different sizes of domains have been written and read by using the scanning tip of piezoresponse force microscopy, where the polarization can stabilize over one month. This study paves one route to improve the polarization retention property through the optimization of the lattice-mismatched stresses between films and substrates.

A metal-flee purple H2Pc single crystal was synthesized by a facile solvothermal method, and its solubility and near-infrared （NIR） optical properties were also investigated due to its potential applications as a light-emitting layer for OLEDs. The H2Pc single crystal is insoluble in 1-chlorine naphthalene and other organic solvents. It gives a wide absorption in the range from 620 nm to 679 nm and a wide emission in near 922 nm. As an active light-emitting layer, H2Pc was employed to fabricate electroluminescent （EL） devices with a structure of ITO/NPB （30 nm）/Alq3：H2Pc （30 nm）/BCP （20 nm）/ Alq3 （20 nm）/Al. The emission center is at 936 nm when the H2Pc doping concentration is 20 wt%. The doping concentration strongly governs the emission intensity. When doping concentration decreases from 10 wt% to 1 wt%, the emission intensity remarkably fades, and simultaneously the emission center undergoes a blue shift.

BACKGROUND In colorectal cancer, tumor deposits(TDs) are considered to be a prognostic factor in the current staging system, and are only considered in the absence of lymph node metastases(LNMs). However, this definition and the subsequent prognostic value based on it is controversial, with various hypotheses. TDs may play an independent role when it comes to survival and addition of TDs to LNM count may predict the prognosis of patients more *** To assess the prognostic impact of TDs and evaluate the effect of their addition to the LNM *** The patients are derived from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database. A prognostic analysis regarding impact of TDs on overall survival(OS) was performed using Cox regression model, and other covariates associating with OS were adjusted. The effect of addition of TDs to LNM count on N restaging was also evaluated. The subgroup analysis was performed to explore the different profile of risk factors between patients with and without *** Overall, 103755 patients were enrolled with 14131(13.6%) TD-positive and 89624(86.4%) TD-negative tumors. TD-positive patients had worse prognosis compared with TD-negative patients, with 3-year OS rates of 47.3%(95%CI, 46.5%-48.1%) and 77.5%(95%CI, 77.2%-77.8%, P < 0.0001), respectively. On multivariable analysis, TDs were associated poorer OS(hazard ratio, 1.35;95%CI, 1.31-1.38;P < 0.0001). Among TD-positive patients, the number of TDs had a linear negative effect on disease-free survival and OS. After reclassifying patients by adding TDs to the LNM count, 885 of 19 965(4.4%) N1 patients were restaged as p N2, with worse outcomes than patients restaged as p N1(3-year OS rate: 78.5%, 95%CI, 77.9%-79.1% vs 63.2%, 95%CI, 60.1%-66.5%, respectively;P < 0.0001).CONCLUSION TDs are an independent prognostic factor for OS in colorectal cancer. The addition of TDs to LNM count improved the prognostic accuracy of tumor, node and metastasis staging.

This paper adopts the accident incidence, the gross industry output value, the investment in safety facilities, and per capita wage of employment as the indexes to empirically analyze the investment performance of chemical safety facilities using time series data by VECM in China. The empirical results indicate that for China’s chemical industry, increasing investment fails to improve the short-term safety level significantly because of the offsetting behavior of workers. Over the long term, the offsetting behavior tends to disappear, and the chemical accident incidence can be decreased through increasing investment. Poor safety awareness among workers is one of the causes of accident incidences. The conclusions provide theoretical support for China to perfect chemical industry safety management.
