The structure of equiatomic high-entropy AlNiCoFeCr alloy obtained by arc melting was investigated. The influence of high pressures (5, 8 and 11 GPa), quenching temperature (1650?C) and small additions of reinforcing agent-boron nitride (10% of the alloy volume) on the microstructure and microhardness of the alloy after quenching was studied. Depending on the conditions of thermobaric action, structures based on solid solution of the B2 type or mixed phases with structures of the Al, A2 or B2 types are formed in the AlNiCoFeCr alloy, which influences the alloy microhardness that varies in the range of 5 - 12.5 GPa. .

The issue of accelerated forestry plantation with high-quality wood using the best soils in terms of productivity,fertilizers,and intensive treatment has become quite relevant due to increased demand for forestry products and higher requirements for environmentally friendly use of forest *** paper presents the results of a study on the impact of various techniques for treating coniferous plantations,including thinning,fertilization,and herbicide processing,on wood quality key *** paper examined the wood density,correlation of early and late wood zones,and the cell wall thickness for 38-year-old pine trees grown on the sample plots of Siversky leskhoz(Leningrad region,Gatchinskiy district)at different treatment and density control *** has been established that the highest basis density of wood corresponds to the samples grown at the density variant of 1 t/ha and double herbicides treatment,and the lowest basis density value was recorded at the option of 4 t/ha with combined *** has been shown that the increase of width index for early wood is influenced by the lower density of 1 t/ha and one-time herbicide treatment,for late wood–by the lower density of 1 t/ha and repeated treatment with *** increase in average cell wall thickness for early and late wood is observed when the density increases up to 4 t/ha and double herbicides *** results obtained provide a valuable scientific contribution to general forestry knowledge and have practical value in plantation forestry.

This study reflects the authors’ vision on the value of architectural heritage. The theories of value are examined, and the most explicit theory is identified from a practical point of view. From our perspective, the theory of entropic value is the most explicit theory from the point of view of detailing the reasoning process on the source of value, the value, and the measure of the value. The method of goods real value estimation is explained based on the analysis of the value creation mechanism, according to the entropic value theory. The analysis of the particularities of the architectural heritage from modern theory valuation perspective allowed authors to formulate methodological proposals for value estimation of real estate with cultural, architectural and historical value.

The ability to identify emotional arousal in heterospecific vocalizations may facilitate behaviors that increase survival opportunities. Crucially, this ability may orient inter-species interactions, par- ticularly between humans and other species. Research shows that humans identify emotional arousal in vocalizations across multiple species, such as cats, dogs, and piglets. However, no previ- ous study has addressed humans＂ ability to identify emotional arousal in silver foxes. Here, we adopted low- and high-arousal calls emitted by three strains of silver fox--Tame, Aggressive, and Unselected--in response to human approach. Tame and Aggressive foxes are genetically selected for friendly and attacking behaviors toward humans, respectively. Unselected foxes show aggres- sive and fearful behaviors toward humans. These three strains show similar levels of emotional arousal, but different levels of emotional valence in relation to humans. This emotional information is reflected in the acoustic features of the calls. Our data suggest that humans can identify high- arousal calls of Aggressive and Unselected foxes, but not of Tame foxes. Further analyses revealed that, although within each strain different acoustic parameters affect human accuracy in identifying high-arousal calls, spectral center of gravity, harmonic-to-noise ratio, and F0 best predict humans＇ ability to discriminate high-arousal calls across all strains. Furthermore, we identified in spectral center of gravity and F0 the best predictors for humans＇ absolute ratings of arousal in each call. Implications for research on the adaptive value of inter-specific eavesdropping are discussed.

Radionuclides and mercury in the salt lakes of the Crimea

^99Sr concentrations, resulting from the Chernobyl NPP accident, were determined in the salt lakes of the Crimea （Lakes Kiyatskoe, Kirleutskoe, Kizil-Yar, Bakalskoe and Donuzlav）, together with the redistribution between the components of the ecosystems. The content of mercury in the waters of the studied reservoirs was also established. Vertical distributions of natural radionuclide activities （^238U, ^232Th, ^226Ra, ^210pb, ^40K） and anthropogenic ^137Cs concentrations （as radiotracers） were determined in the bottom sediments of the Koyashskoe salt lake （located in the south-eastern Crimea） to evaluate the long- term dynamics and biogeochemical processes. Radiochemical and chemical analysis was undertaken and radiotracer and statistical methods were applied to the analytical data. The highest concentrations of ^99Sr in the water of Lake Kiyatskoe （350.5 and 98.0 Bq/m^3） and Lake Kirleutskoe （121.3 Bq/m^3） were due to the discharge of the Dnieper water from the North-Crimean Canal. The high content of mercury in Lake Kiyatskoe （363.2 ng/L） and in seawater near Lake Kizil-Yar （364 ng/L） exceeded the maximum permissible concentration （3.5 times the maximum）. Natural radionuclides provide the main contribution to the total radioactivity （artificial and natural combined） in the bottom sediments of Lake Koyashskoe. The significant concentration of ^210pb in the upper layer of bottom sediments of the lake indicates an active inflow of its parent radionuclide-gaseous ^222Rn from the lower layers of the bottom sediment. The average sedimentation rates in Lake Koyashskoe, determined using ^210pb and ^137Cs data, were 0.117 and 0.109 cm per year, respectively.

The aim of the present research is to identify the main mechanisms of sulfur behavior in saline lakes in the course of time and followed transformations in their chemical composition. The influence of water on chemical composition of biochemical processes involved in decomposition of organic matter was determined by the study of behavior of reduced forms of sulfur in lakes. The determination of reduced forms of sulfur was carried out by successive transfer of each form of sulfur to hydrogen sulfide followed by photometric measurements. The other chemical components were determined by standard methods(atomic absorption, potentiometric method, titration method and others). The salt lakes of the Altai steppe were studied in summer season 2013–2015. Analysis of the chemical composition of the saline lakes of Altai Krai has shown that carbonate-, hydrocarbonate-and chloride ions dominate among anions; sodium is main cation; sulfates are found in subordinate amounts. Reduced forms of sulfur occur everywhere: hydrogen and hydrosulfide sulfur S^(2-) prevail in the bottom sediments; its derivative—elemental S^0—prevails in the lakes water. The second important species in water of soda lakes is hydrosulfide sulfur S^(2-), and in chloride lakes is thiosulfate sulfur S_2O_2^(3ˉ). The lag in the accumulation of sulfates in soda lakes in comparison to chloride lakes can be explained by their bacterial reduction, followed by the formation and deposition of iron sulfides in sediments. In chloride lakes gypsum is a predominantly barrier for sulfates.

The presented study focused on developing an innovative decision-making framework to select the best renewable-power-plant technologies,considering comprehensive techno-economic and environmental *** to the favourable conditions,Australia was selected as the case study.A fuzzy-logic method and analytical hierarchy process were applied to prioritize different renewable-energy power *** techno-economic factors included levelized cost of energy,initial cost,simple payback time,and operation and maintenance costs along with environmental factors including carbon payback time,energy payback time and greenhouse-gas emissions were used to rank the power *** results showed that the capital cost and simple payback time had the highest priority from an economic point of *** comparison,greenhouse-gas emissions and carbon payback time were the dominant environmental *** analysis results provided economic and environmental priority tables for developing different power plants in the current state and a future scenario by *** fuzzy results and pairwise composite matrix of alternatives indicated that the onshore wind,offshore wind,single-axis tracker polycrystalline photovoltaic,single-axis tracker monocrystalline photovoltaic,fix-tilted polycrystalline photovoltaic and fix-tilted monocrystalline photovoltaic scored the highest in the current *** contrast,by 2030,the single-axis tracker photovoltaic power plants will be the best choice in the future scenario in ***,the results were used and analysed to recommend and suggest several policy implementations and future research studies.

The sustainable development of today＇s society can be promoted by providing the educational sustainability. The education of prospective teachers should be based on ecological approach, which ensures the ecological perspective and an opportunity for students to develop their readiness to integrate into the school environment. The main aim of the author＇s research is to substantiate mentoring as an interaction system for the facilitation of the prospective teachers＇ readiness to integrate into the school environment. The author of this paper offers the results of her theoretical research： substantiation of mentoring＇s importance in teachers＇ education, substantiation of mentors＇ roles and functions, and substantiation of ecological approach in teachers＇ education. Ecological approach in teachers＇ education facilitates the formation of friendly attitude toward a school as an educational environment. Mentoring provides the prospective teachers＇ readiness to the professional activity and ability to successful integration in various types of school environment, considering their specificity. The author applied the following research methods： experience reflection, studying, analysing, and evaluating of scientific literature.
