The first step in the design phase of the brushless Direct Current(bLDC)motor is the formulation of the mathematical framework and is often used due to its analytical ***,the bLDC motor design problem is considered to be an optimization *** this paper,the analytical model of the bLDC motor is presented,and it is considered to be a basis for emphasizing the optimization *** analytical model used for the experimentation has 78 non-linear equations,two objective functions,five design variables,and six non-linear constraints,so the bLDC motor design problem is considered as highly non-linear in electromagnetic ***-objective optimization becomes the forefront of the current research to obtain the global best solution using metaheuristic *** bio-inspired multi-objective grey wolf optimizer(MOGWO)is presented in this paper,and it is formulated based on Pareto optimality,dominance,and archiving *** performance of theMOGWO is verified on standard multi-objective unconstraint benchmark functions and applied to the bLDC motor design *** results proved that the proposedMOGWO algorithm could handle nonlinear constraints in electromagnetic optimization *** performance comparison in terms of Generational Distance,inversion GD,Hypervolume-matrix,scattered-matrix,and coverage metrics proves that the MOGWO algorithm can provide the best solution compared to other selected *** source code of this paper is backed up with extra online support at https://***/mysite and https://***/matlabcentral/fileexchange/75259-multiobjective-non-sorted-grey-wolf-mogwo-nsgwo.

In machine learning and data mining,feature selection(FS)is a traditional and complicated optimization *** the run time increases exponentially,FS is treated as an NP-hard *** researcher’s effort to build a new FS solution was inspired by the ongoing need for an efficient FS framework and the success rates of swarming outcomes in different optimization *** paper presents two binary variants of a Hunger Games Search Optimization(HGSO)algorithm based on V-and S-shaped transfer functions within a wrapper FS model for choosing the best features from a large *** proposed technique transforms the continuous HGSO into a binary variant using V-and S-shaped transfer functions(bHGSO-V and bHGSO-S).To validate the accuracy,16 famous UCI datasets are considered and compared with different state-of-the-art metaheuristic binary *** findings demonstrate that bHGSO-V achieves better performance in terms of the selected number of features,classification accuracy,run time,and fitness values than other state-of-the-art *** results demonstrate that the bHGSO-V algorithm can reduce dimensionality and choose the most helpful features for classification *** proposed bHGSO-V achieves 95%average classification accuracy for most of the datasets,and run time is less than 5 *** low and medium dimensional datasets and less than 10 sec for high dimensional datasets.

Laparoscopic management of remnant gall bladder with stones: Lessons from a tertiary care centre's experience

Objective:Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is currently the gold standard for treating symptomatic gallstone *** its success,approximately 10%of patients may experience persistent biliary symptoms,leading to the post-cholecystectomy syndrome.A remnant gallbladder with cystic duct or bile duct stones is one of the causes of this *** objective of this study was to shed light on the clinical manifestations,evaluation,therapeutic strategies,and outcomes associated with laparoscopic management of symptomatic remnant ***:This was a retrospective study,conducted over a five-year period(January 2017 to December 2022)at Apollo Hospitals in South *** patients who underwent laparoscopic completion cholecystectomy for a remnant gall bladder were *** following data were collected:patient demographics,symptoms,preoperative investigations,intraoperative details and post operative ***:In total,36 patients were included and *** majority of patients were male(25,69.4%),with a mean age of 50.7±12.1 *** most common presentation was pain in the upper abdomen or right upper quadrant region(24,66.7%).The laparoscopic approach was attempted in all patients,with a success rate of 94.4%.Two patients required conversion to open *** fistula to the colon was observed in one *** was observed in 7 patients(19.4%),and stone clearance was successfully achieved using endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in all patients ***:Incomplete gall bladder removal either intentionally or unintentionally leaves a remnant gall bladder that is at risk for stone formation and *** who have this clinical entity with symptoms require a redo or complete cholecystectomy,a complex procedure associated with certain *** study highlights the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic completion cholecystectomy for the management of remnant gallbladder

Uncertainty is an important factor that needs to be considered while analyzing the performance of any engineering *** order to quantify uncertainty,fuzzy set theory is frequently used by most of researchers,including energy system *** to the classical reliability theory,component lifetimes have crisp parameters,but due to uncertainty and inaccuracy in data,it is sometimes very difficult to determine the exact values of these parameters in real-world *** overcome this difficulty in the current research,failure and repair rates were taken as triangular fuzzy numbers to determine the fuzzy availability of a system undergoing calendar-based periodic inspection subject to multiple failure modes(FMs).It was assumed that each component in the system had an exponential failure rate and repair rate with fuzzy *** FMs were explicitly taken into account when a functional state of the system was *** FM had a random failure *** the occurrence of any failure,a random time was selected for the relevant corrective repair *** proposed research was studied for one of the major sources of green energy,namely a wind turbine system wherein all the derived propositions have been implemented on it.

Vibration energy harvesting has emerged as a promising method to harvest energy for small-scale *** the performance of a vibration energy harvester(VEH)incorporating nonlinear techniques,for example,the snap-through VEH with geometric non-linearity,has gained attention in recent years.A conventional snap-through VEH is a bi-stable system with a time-invariant potential function,which was investigated extensively in the *** this work,a modified snap-through VEH with a time-varying potential function subject to harmonic and random base excitations is *** snap-through VEHs,such as the one considered in this study,are used in wave energy ***,the studies on their dynamics and energy harvesting under harmonic and random excitations are *** dynamics of the modified snap-through VEH is represented by a system of differential algebraic equations(DAEs),and the numerical schemes are proposed for its *** a harmonic excitation,the system exhibits periodic and chaotic motions,and the energy harvesting is superior compared with the conventional *** dynamics under a random excitation is investigated by the moment differential method and the numerical scheme based on the modified Euler-Maruyama *** Fokker-Planck equation representing the dynamics is derived,and the marginal and joint probability density functions(PDFs)are obtained by the Monte Carlo *** study shows that the modified snap-through oscillator based VEH performs better under both harmonic and random *** dynamics of the system under stochastic resonance(SR)is investigated,and performance enhancement is *** results from this study will help in the development of adaptive VEH techniques in the future.

The primary focus during surgery is to ensure successful implantation by achieving long-term and stable fixation of *** surgery is now more focused on the development of novel biomaterials intended to improve implant *** obtain a better understanding of metal implants,this article investigated the causes of material failures in certain cases and analysed a few case *** interaction between the implant and bone tissue was a crucial aspect of successful implantation,and this study explored the factors influencing this interaction as well as ways to improve *** modern approaches used for modifying implant surfaces were systematically illustrated and briefly *** spray coatings were often favoured because of their wide range of coating materials,but other substantial surface modifications(such as friction stir processing and laser surface texturing)were also used for a selection of ***,implant surfaces with desirable features,such as biocompatibility,antibacterial properties,corrosion resistance,and wear resistance,were essential for optimising implant *** systematic review's main aim is to provide exhaustive reference information and a broad overview to advance the production and design of orthopaedic implants.
