Currently,breast cancer has been amajor cause of deaths in women worldwide and the World Health Organization(WHO)has confirmed *** severity of this disease can be minimized to the large extend,if it is diagnosed properly at an early stage of the ***,the proper treatment of a patient having cancer can be processed in better way,if it can be diagnosed properly as early as possible using the better ***,it has been currently observed that the deep neural networks have delivered remarkable performance for detecting cancer in histopathological images of breast *** address the above said issues,this paper presents a hybrid model using the transfer learning to study the histopathological images,which help in detection and rectification of the disease at a low *** dataset experiments were carried out to validate the suggested hybrid model in this *** experimental results show that the proposed model outperformed the baseline methods,with F-scores of 0.81 for DenseNet+Logistic regression hybrid model,(F-score:0.73)for Visual Geometry Group(VGG)+Logistic regression hybrid model,(F-score:0.74)for VGG+random Forest,(F-score:0.79)for DenseNet+random Forest,and(F-score:0.79)for VGG+Densenet+Logistic regression hybrid model on the dataset of histopathological images.

Modeling and targeting an essential metabolic pathway of Plasmodium falciparum in apicoplast using Petri nets

Petri net(PN) is one of the promising computational and mathematical formalisms used to represent and study the behavior of complex metabolic networks. The various available analysis techniques of PN could be used to validate and analyze the network in different scenarios. Plasmodium falciparum is one of the threatening parasites which causes malaria, a deadly disease affecting a large number of today’s world population. The development of antimalarial drug resistance is an emerging global threat, highlighting the need to discover novel antimalarial targets. The fatty acid biosynthesis of malarial parasite is one of the essential metabolic pathways required for its growth and is present in apicoplast, a non-photosynthetic plastid. The malarial parasite obtains fatty acids by using type two fatty acid synthase(FAS II) enzyme,which is different from type one enzyme used by human host, making it an ideal drug *** article proposes and studies the PN model of the parasite’s FAS II pathway to analyze the mechanism of potential drug targets in this pathway. The proposed PN model can serve as a base for further findings in the field of antimalarial drug targets to decrease the malaria mortality rate.

In the present work,an attempt is made to partially replace high cost silica sand with sustainable eco-friendly *** practical utility of cow dung as an additive material that facilitates binding in sand moulds has been *** Taguchi method is used to plan and conduct nine experiments with three replicates *** analysis of variance study is performed to understand the practical significance of moulding sand variables,that is,percentage of cow dung,clay,water,and degree of ramming on sand mould *** conflicting multiple objective functions(maximize mould hardness,and minimize collapsibility and gas evolution)are optimized by utilizing the Data Envelopment Analysis ranking(DEAr)*** optimal parameters i.e.6%of clay,4%of water,5%of cow-dung and 4 numbers of ramming strokes are obtained by applying a hybrid Taguchi-DEAr *** parameters show the best moulding properties are:mould hardness 55,gas evolution 5.9 ml·g-1,and collapsibility 470 g·***,a Lovejoy coupling made of aluminium is cast in the sand mould prepared with cow dung and without cow dung,with the optimum set of *** mechanical properties,surface finish,and microstructure of the casting cast with cow-dung are better than that without cowdung.

Voice classification is important in creating more intelligent systems that help with student exams,identifying criminals,and security *** main aim of the research is to develop a system able to predicate and classify gender,age,and ***,a newsystem calledClassifyingVoice Gender,Age,and Accent(CVGAA)is *** and bagging algorithms are designed to improve voice recognition systems that incorporate sensory voice features such as rhythm-based features used to train the device to distinguish between the two gender *** has high precision compared to other algorithms used in this problem,as the adaptive backpropagation algorithm had an accuracy of 98%and the bagging algorithm had an accuracy of 98.10%in the gender identification *** has the best accuracy among all algorithms,with 55.39%accuracy in the voice common dataset and age classification and accent accuracy in a speech accent of 78.94%.

Characterization of the interaction of nanobubble ultrasound contrast agents with human blood components

Nanoscale ultrasound contrast agents,or nanobubbles,are being explored in preclinical applications ranging from vascular and cardiac imaging to targeted drug delivery in *** sub-micron particles are approximately 10x smaller than clinically available *** allows them to effectively traverse compromised physiological barriers and circulate for extended periods of *** various aspects of nanobubble behavior have been previously examined,their behavior in human whole blood has not yet been ***,herein we examined,for the first time,the short and long-term effects of blood components on nanobubble acoustic *** observed differences in the kinetics of backscatter from nanobubble suspensions in whole blood compared to bubbles in phosphate buffered saline(PbS),plasma,or red blood cell solutions(rbCs).Specifically,after introducing nanobubbles to fresh human whole blood,signal enhancement,or the magnitude of nonlinear ultrasound signal,gradually increased by 22.8±13.1%throughout our experiment,with peak intensity reached within 145 *** contrast,nanobubbles in PbS had a stable signal with negligible change in intensity(􀀀1.7±3.2%)over 8 *** the same conditions,microbubbles made with the same lipid formulation showed a􀀀56.8±6.1%decrease in enhancement in whole *** confocal,fluorescent,and scanning electron microscopy analysis revealed attachment of the nanobubbles to the surface of rbCs,suggesting that direct interactions,or hitchhiking,of nanobubbles on rbCs in the presence of plasma may be a possible mechanism for the observed *** phenomenon could be key to extending nanobubble circulation time and has broad implications in drug delivery,where rbC interaction with nanoparticles could be exploited to improve delivery efficiency.

Trend in Observed and Projected Maximum and Minimum Temperature over N-W Himalayan basin

recently, study in past trends of climate variables gained significant consideration because of its contribution in adaptions and mitigation strategies for potential future changes in climate, primarily in the area of water resource management. Future interannual and inter-seasonal variations in maximum and minimum temperature may bring significant changes in hydrological systems and affect regional water resources. The present study has been performed to observe past(1970-2010) as well as future(2011-2100)spatial and temporal variability in temperature(maximum and minimum) over selected stations of Sutlej basin located in North-Western Himalayan region in India. The generation of future time series of temperature data at different stations is done using statistical downscaling technique. The nonparametric test methods, modified Mann-Kendall test and Cumulative Sum chart are used for detecting monotonic trend and sequential shift in time series of maximum and minimum temperature. Sen's slope estimator test is used to detect the magnitude of change over a period of time on annual and seasonal basis. The cooling experienced in annual TMax and TMin at Kasol in past(1970-2010) would be replaced by warming in future as increasing trends are detected in TMax during 2020 s and 2050 s and in TMin during 2020 s, 2050 s and 2080 s under A1 b and A2 scenarios. Similar results of warming are also predicted at Sunnifor annual TMin in future under both scenarios which witnessed cooling during 1970-2010. The rise in TMin at rampur is predicted to be continued in future as increasing trends are obtained under both the scenarios. Seasonal trend analysis reveals large variability in trends of TMax and TMin over these stations for the future periods.

blaptostethus pallescens Poppius (Heteroptera:Anthocoridae),which is amenable to mass rearing,has proved to be a potential predator of sucking pests like mites and ***,the cotton mealybug Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley emerged as a serious pest on cotton in *** studies indicated that *** could feed on the cotton ***,further investigations were conducted to understand the stage of the predator which is most potential and the pest stage preferred by the *** nymphs and adults of *** could predate equally well on the neonates of cotton *** (three to four-day-old) nymphs of the predator could not feed on any stage of the cotton *** nymphs (seven-day-old and above) and adults could effectively predate on both young and mature cotton mealybug crawlers,though preference was more for the younger ***,nymphs and adults of *** could not predate on the adult stage of the *** predator:pest ratios were tested in cage studies and it emerged that *** adults released against the mealybug crawlers at a ratio of 1:5 and nymphal release at 1:10 caused maximum mortality of the mealybug *** the fast multiplication rate of cotton mealybug and the large number of predators which have to be released to manage them,further detailed studies are necessary on utilizing *** to target the neonates and younger stages of the cotton mealybug in field conditions.
