A mathematical model is proposed to execute the features of the non-uniform heat source or sink in the chemically reacting magnetohydrodynamic （MHD） Casson fluid across a slendering sheet in the presence of microorganisms and Cattaneo-Christov heat flux. Multiple slips （diffusion, thermal, and momentum slips） are applied in the modeling of the heat and mass transport processes. The Runge-Kutta based shooting method is used to find the solutions. Numerical simulation is carried out for various values of the physical constraints when the Casson index parameter is positive, negative, or infinite with the aid of plots. The coefficients of the skin factors, the local Nusselt number, and the Sherwood number are estimated for different parameters, and discussed for engineering interest. It is found that the gyrotactic microorganisms are greatly encouraged when the dimensionless parameters increase, especially when the Casson fluid parameter is negative. It is worth mentioning that th~ velocity profiles when the Casson fluid parameter is positive are higher than those when the Casson fluid parameter is negative or infinite, whereas the temperature and concentration fields show exactly opposite phenomena.

Maloperation of conventional relays is becoming prevalent due to ever increase in complexity of conventional power *** are dominant during power system contingencies like power swing,load encroachment,voltage instability,unbalanced loading,*** these situations,adaptive supervised wide-area backup protection(ASWAbP)plays a major role in enhancing the power system reliability.A balance between security and dependability of protection is essential to maintain the *** paper proposes multi-phasor measurement units(MPMU)based ASWAbP scheme that can function effectively during faults besides power system *** is an extended version of Phasor Measurement Unit(PMU).It is an intelligent electronic device which estimates the synchronized predominant harmonic phasors(100Hz and 150Hz)along with the fundamental phasors(50Hz)of three phase voltages and currents with high *** proposed ASWAbP scheme can detect the fault,identify the parent bus,determine the faulty branch and classify the faults using MPMU measurements at System Protection Center(SPC).based on these MPMU measurements(received at phasor data concentrator(PDC)at SPC)the appropriate relays will be supervised to enhance the overall reliability of the power *** case studies are conducted on WSCC-9 bus and IEEE-14 bus systems to illustrate the security and dependability attributes of proposed ASWAbP scheme in MATLAb/Simulink ***,comparative studies are performed with the existing conventional distance protection(Mho relays)for corroborating the superiority of the proposed scheme regarding security and *** studies have shown that the proposed scheme can be used as adaptive supervised wide-area backup protection of conventional distance protection.

Objective:To evaluate bepato protective and antioxidant capacity of Melochia corchorifolia （***）aerial part ***:Antioxidant activitywas evaluated by using three free radicals（Superoxide,Hydroxyl and DPPH） and hepatoprotective activity was assessed against CCl4 induced liver intoxication in ***:The extracts produced concentration dependent percentage protection in decrease of serum enzymes and percentage inhibition on free *** all extracts methanol extract showed better activity with percentage protection of SGOT（78.98%）,SGPT（79.65%）,ALP（82.48%） and total bilirubin（80.0%）levels against CCl4 liver intoxication and also methanolic extract showed better activity with IC50 values on superoxide. hydroxyl and DPPH radicals were 127μg.240μg and 179μ***:From the results obtained during the study it could be concluded that *** aerial part extracts have antioxidant and hepaloprotective *** study is necessary for isolation and characterization of bioactive molecules which are responsible for hepatoprotective and antioxidant activity.

Arecanut disease identification is a challenging problem in the field of image *** this work,we present a new combination of multi-gradient-direction and deep con-volutional neural networks for arecanut disease identification,namely,rot,split and *** to the effect of the disease,there are chances of losing vital details in the *** enhance the fine details in the images affected by diseases,we explore multi-Sobel directional masks for convolving with the input image,which results in enhanced *** proposed method extracts arecanut as foreground from the enhanced images using Otsu ***,the features are extracted for foreground information for disease identification by exploring the ResNet *** advantage of the proposed approach is that it identifies the diseased images from the healthy arecanut *** results on the dataset of four classes(healthy,rot,split and rot-split)show that the proposed model is superior in terms of classification rate.

Drought, flood, salinity, or a combination of these limits rice production. Several rice varieties are well known for their tolerance to specific abiotic stresses. We determined genetic relationship among 12 rice varieties including 9 tolerant to drought, flood, or salinity using inter-simple sequence repeat （ISSR） markers. based on all markers, the nine tolerant varieties formed one cluster distinct from the cluster of three control varieties. The salt-tolerant varieties were closest to two flood-tolerant varieties, and together they were distinct from the drought-tolerant varieties. （GA）8YG was the most informative primer, showing the highest polymorphic information content （PIC） and resolving power （Rp）. The drought-, flood-, and salt-tolerant varieties grouped in three distinct clusters within the group of tolerant varieties, when （GA）8YG was used. Sabita was the only exception. The two aus varieties, Nagina22 and FR13A, were separated and grouped with the drought- and flood-tolerant varieties, respectively, hut they were together in dendrograms based on other primers. The results show that ISSR markers associated with （GA）sYG delineated the three groups of stress-tolerant varieties from each other and can be used to identify genes/new alleles associated with the three abiotic stresses in rice germplasm.

In the present work, autonomous mobile robot（AMR） system is intended with basic behaviour, one is obstacle avoidance and the other is target seeking in various environments. The AMR is navigated using fuzzy logic, neural network and adaptive neurofuzzy inference system（ANFIS） controller with safe boundary algorithm. In this method of target seeking behaviour, the obstacle avoidance at every instant improves the performance of robot in navigation approach. The inputs to the controller are the signals from various sensors fixed at front face, left and right face of the AMR. The output signal from controller regulates the angular velocity of both front power wheels of the AMR. The shortest path is identified using fuzzy, neural network and ANFIS techniques with integrated safe boundary algorithm and the predicted results are validated with experimentation. The experimental result has proven that ANFIS with safe boundary algorithm yields better performance in navigation, in particular with curved/irregular obstacles.

As more electric utilities and transmission system operators move toward the smart grid concept,robust fault analysis has become increasingly *** paper proposes a methodology for the detection,classification,and localization of transmission line faults using Synchrophasor *** technique involves the extraction of phasors from the instantaneous three-phase voltages and currents at each bus in the system which are then decomposed into their symmetrical *** components are sent to the phasor data concentrator(PDC)for real-time fault analysis,which is completed within 2–3 cycles after fault *** advantages of this technique are its accuracy and speed,so that fault information may be appropriately communicated to facilitate system *** proposed algorithm is independent of the transmission system topology and displays high accuracy in its results,even with varying parameters such as fault distance,fault inception angle and fault *** proposed algorithm is validated using a three-bus system as well as the Western System Coordinating Council(WSCC)nine bus *** proposed algorithm is shown to accurately detect the faulted line and classify the fault in all the test cases presented.

In the present research, a series of 5,6-bis aryl 1,2,4-triazines 5a^5f were synthesized by condensation of various benzils 4a^4f with aminoguanidine bicarbonate and were screened in vivo, for their anticonvulsant and neurotoxicity studies. Compounds 5a, 5b and 5d were found to be potent molecules of this series, when compared with the reference drugs phenytoin sodium, diazepam and lamotrigine. The structures of these compounds were established by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopic data.

Genetic mapping of QTL for agronomic traits and grain mineral elements in rice

Malnutrition is one of the prevailing health problems worldwide, affecting a large proportion of the populations in rice-consuming countries. breeding rice varieties with increased concentrations of elements in the grain is considered the most cost-effective approach to alleviate malnutrition. Development of molecular markers for high grain concentrations of essential elements, particularly Zn, for use in marker-assisted selection (MAS) can hasten breeding efforts to develop rice varieties with nutrient-dense grain. We performed QTL mapping for four agronomic traits: days to 50% flowering, plant height, number of tillers, grain yield, and 13 grain elements: As, b, Ca, Co, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Mo, Na, P, and Zn, in two doubled-haploid populations derived from the crosses IR64 × IR69428 and bR29 × IR75862. These populations were phenotyped during 2015DS and 2015WS at IRRI, Los ba os, The Philippines, and genotyped them with a 6 K SNP chip. Inclusive composite interval mapping revealed 15 QTL for agronomic traits and 50 QTL for grain element concentration. Of these, eight QTL showed phenotypic variance of >25% and 11 QTL were consistent across seasons. There were seven QTL co-localization regions containing QTL for more than two traits. Twenty five epistatic interactions were detected for two agronomic traits and seven mineral elements. Several DH lines with high Fe and Zn in polished rice were identified. These lines can be used as donors for breeding high-Zn rice varieties. Some of the major QTL can be further validated and used in MAS to improve the concentrations of nutritive elements in rice grain.
